DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT
Fresh Roasted Coffee, LLC has a delightful webpage and positive reviews. Because of it, I ordered a 96 K-cup flavored coffee variety pack. Unfortunately, I didn't like the coffee and contacted them one day after arrival to return it for a refund. When I did, they told me, "...we are unable to process returns or exchanges for products that have been opened or partially used". I read the return policy before ordering and the first line of their policy states, "If you are unsatisfied with your coffee or tea purchase from freshroastedcoffee.com for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your delivery". After getting their email, I looked again and saw the third paragraph which says, "To receive a full refund, all unused product(s) must be returned, unopened and in the original packaging, at the customer’s expense."
Maybe it's just me, but IMHO, every single remaining K-cup (94 of them which they haphazardly threw in a box), ARE still unopened, in their original packaging, and can be resold. They just refuse to do so. And even if there is some federal health issue with returns, they could still refund my $$ but choose not to.
Nothing infuriates me more than a company that doesn't stand behind their product. This coffee is weak and tastes bad, at least to me. If it were an opened bag of ground coffee, I might understand. But I don't understand a company that isn't willing to stand behind their product and make their customers satisfied. And to add insult to injury, they ignored my subsequent email asking to reconsider. So the bottom line is, DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH FRESH ROASTED COFFEE, LLC because if you don't like it, you're screwed.
