Frilans Finans is by far the worst and most problematic payment company I have ever dealt with.

I have received payments from companies in different countries for years without any issues. Fast, professional, simple. But Frilans Finans has been delaying my payment since March with endless excuses — and this is for a small amount of money.

Nobody at Frilans Finans is solution-oriented. Your staff deliberately delay payments, create unnecessary obstacles, and hide behind endless excuses instead of providing proper service.

You keep hiding behind the phrase “preventing money laundering” to justify this behavior. Fine. Then according to your logic, every other payment company that manages to pay people quickly and without harassment must be laundering money — and only Frilans Finans is “saving the system.”

Do you actually believe your own excuses?

This is not professionalism. This is incompetence, unnecessary bureaucracy, and terrible customer treatment.

I would never recommend Frilans Finans to anyone.

First time getting paid in my "Real"profession (freelancer dancer/dance teacher) in Sweden. It went smoothly!

The service worked as expected, just forgot how much income taxes and such were in Sweden.

Easy to use and a lot of useful tools. The payment takes awhile to reflect, but I contacted the customer support and they got back to me fast regarding inquiries. They also checked on the status of the invoice when I inquired and they resolved the issue very quick. Big props to their staff!

This is my first time using FrilansFinans in Sweden. After the company I worked for went bankrupt, I needed to find freelance opportunities to earn money and continue living here. While searching for a job in Sweden, I rely on freelance work, and FrilansFinans has helped me handle the taxes on my salary. Kudos to FrilansFinans for making the process so much easier.

Overall: unreliable service, do not recommend.

Pros: easy and straightforward to set up, customer service is usually quick & responsive and friendly.

Cons: My experience has been extremely frustrating and I would not recommend this service for handling your payments. First, they are not knowledgable even about their own services - when setting up a third party platform which they offer and I had questions on the set up, their response was to simply contact the third party platform. They didn't have any idea how to set it up despite having a specific contract available for the service, even going as far as to say that maybe I should not use their service at all - which I found odd. I figured it out myself and went ahead.
Second, they missed my first payout date - I had to remind them to pay me, and with zero apology or acknowledgement of their mistake, they simply told me that the payment will take one day (late). This is simply not acceptable, and very unprofessional. They also did not put in the correct hours/dates that I actually worked when I got my first payment.
Third, when I changed my payout date to the 25th instead of the 5th which I have asked about beforehand, they told me it's possible they would make a mistake (?) and I have yet to receive my payment and it's the 30th. They have given me no updates and I assume that I'll get my payment on the 5th, but they are not transparent on if the upcoming months, they will follow the schedule.

I thought that I was paying a lot of money to invest in a hassle-free, reliable service to handle my tax & services as a freelancer. Instead, it has been an extremely frustrating and stressful experience, and frankly I am deeply worried next year when it's time to actually do my tax return with Skatteverket, if they will be able to do it accurately considering all of the mistakes they have made so far. Therefore, I do not recommend this service.

Convenient application, fast responses of service center.

Called them several times reqarding a potential setup. The person on the phone did not know what to do. Referred me to reach out to their info-email, which I tried. Never heard anything. Called them back again and this time they referred me to reach out to their avtal-email. Same story, never heard back. When I called them a final time, they told me that someone will reach out eventually. That is now over a week ago. If you need a quick setup with transparency and communication, this is not the way.

Starting to work freelance with an overseas client, I was unsure how to navigate self-employment across countries. After registering with Frilans Finans, they made the entire process seamless! I particularly appreciated their time efficiency, even when invoicing deadlines were tight. Also, outstanding customer support team!!! Very glad that I found this company!
