Incredibly gorgeous Tivoli tables for…

Incredibly gorgeous Tivoli tables for client. Small end table arrived quickly and in fantastic condition. Very high price for this little table but it was exactly as described. Tivoli coffee table had only 1 option for delivery -- $399! I was not allowed to pick it up, so we waited an extra 2 weeks for delivery. Fantastic Hunt delivery guys did an excellent job BUT were not allowed to do anything but place it in the clients' home in boxes on her new rug. I had to hire more help to uncrate the 2 very hefty pieces and install the iron table base to the hefty marble top. It almost cost as much to deliver and install this one table as it cost for the end table. Its 2026 -- give us some options for delivery or at least do White Glove for that price!

Purchased 4 expensive bath towels that…

Purchased 4 expensive bath towels that looked nice but did not dry well at all. Very disappointed. On top of that, Frontgate would not accept my return because I had used one of the towels, despite their 90-day return policy that is written on the receipt. And on top of that, you have to pay the return shipping. And finally, as I was explaining my concerns in a normal, calm voice, the customer service agent repeatedly cut me off in a loud, rude tone. Order #W4225187.

Tried to use a Christmas gift card

Tried to use a Christmas gift card. Was told they wanted to ensure it was not being fraudulently used since my email was not the same, despite giving a credit card for the remainder of the order.

Their fraud department never calls back and is closed during hours when they should be open!!! Terrible company. Way overpriced and lacks customer service.

Products are quality

Products are quality. Customer service is horrible.
Two items. Black Friday prices.
3 calls and different agents, could ONLY see order status if provided a tracking number.
Wanted me to repurchase exchanges for normal price while waiting for the return to hit.
No.
Then each agent kept trying to sell me towels while I was on the phone!!!
I was frustrated!!! Website still does not reflect anything but the original orders.
WONT be buying anything from them again. Period.

I purchased 3 solar light sets (6 lights) a few months ago at $169 /set. One stake broke and I asked Frontgate to replace it (I was willing to even pay for it). After making me wait 14 days for their decision and two follows ups from me, they flat out said NO. I've been a customer of Frontgate for 20 years and between my wife and I we have probably spent $30,000 with them. We will no longer purchase from Frontgate, or Grandin Road (same company). No wonder the company (QVC) stock has dropped over 95%.

Ordered Spa towels

Ordered Spa towels. Yes, they are large, thick and fluffy. However, they are absolutely NOT absorbent. They just move the moisture around your skin - they do not dry you off!! I purchased two towels and the cost was around $112.00. For that price, a towel should dry your body. Cannot send them back due to their return policy.

So disappointed in the quality of their…

So disappointed in the quality of their outdoor teak products. Every product I purchased from them developed mold shortly after being placed outside. Their customer service team was very slow to respond and when they did they told me mold was normal. My outdoor space has many other teak products none of which grew mold. Do not shop this brand.

I wanted to purchase some expensive lawn furniture during their summer sale with advertised free shipping. The company had sent me a birthday card for $50 off but since it was free shipping the gift would not apply. DO NOT SEND GIFTS IF YOU WILL NOT ACCEPT THEM DURING A SALE.

E-mails forever

I made the mistake of purchasing some towels from Frontgate. While the towels were just ok, the barrage of relentless emails I subsequently received was neverending, no matter how many times I "unsubscribed". Even that process was tedious, as opposed to a simple click of an "unsubscribe" button. I kept getting "sale ending today" emails, so I figured that would be it. LOL. Nope. That sale never ends. Today, tomorrow, never. Then I send them an email to complain and that process was made very difficult. There's no doubt they do all of this on purpose to make sure they keep your email current no matter what. This is simply another way of showing "value" in a company for financial reports. Meanwhile, all they're doing is pissing people off. Like me.

I purchased pool floats

I purchased pool floats, pool noodles and a stand to hold them upright.
The floats and the noodles were STUCK TO THE STAND! The plastic material of the floats was glued onto the powder coated stand that I bought from FRONTGATE!
I struggled to get them unglued and a piece of the plastic float material got ripped off exposing the foam underneath. So disappointed.
I do have videos of the floats being stuck. They don’t answer their phones. I’m done with them.

Horrendous quality-total piece of junk

Horrendous quality! Impossible to deal with. I ordered two front gate bath rugs. Washed them both and they BOTH literally fell apart. Parts or them fraying everywhere….strings hanging…shedding! I’ve never seen anything like it. Total junk; and if you don’t return with ALL the original packaging they won’t honor a refund, exchange or any compensation. Simply JUNK. Stay away from this company unless you get a kick out of being totally ripped off.

Best customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered a 12 seat teak outdoor dining table w/10 chairs. A week later I ordered 2 more chairs as backup in case I needed them. That was a year ago. Last week I broke open the box of 2 chairs to oil them while I was oiling the set - and I discovered - after oiling one of the chairs that it had a defect under the chair. I called Fro t gate and they sent me a new chair. I am soooo impressed with them. This was a year later and they did not say a word. Great company.

Frontgate sold my address to marketers

Frontgate sold my address to marketers after I merely ordered fabric swatches! I had included the company's name in my address, which I do to track who is giving away my address. Sure enough, I'm now getting furniture catalogues addressed to "Frontgate [my last name]." These aren't from Frontgate, but from random furniture companies I've never heard of.

I'm very unhappy with this and want others to know: ordering those fabric swatches comes with the cost of receiving more junky catalogues in your mailbox.

Plus, when I ordered the swatches, I was told one of the colors was on backorder, but the other two were available immediately. After I gave my address, I found out that all three of the colors weren't available (for full cushion purchase) for several months. I never would have bothered with the swatches had I known this. Bait and switch, as evidently this company makes their money selling our addresses to third parties.

A disaster

A disaster. We ordered a wood holder for the front porch. The item came in a box that was destroyed and taped together. The styrofoam was broken and separated. Hardware was missing and some defective- nuts fused to bolts. No quality control. Ugh. What a hassle.

Suprisingly bad customer service not…

Suprisingly bad customer service not interested in actually helping. And the marketing of deals that don't actually apply to most of their products is infuriating -- love their product quality but we're just done putting up with the false advertising and poor service... moving on.

RETURN POLICY

I was never notified of a return shipping fee AND no refund for the initial shipping fee + tax. There is no disclosure of ANY OF THE ABOVE. So when I returned the item, I was not refunded what I paid. When I called about returning the item, I was told to just print out a UPS label and return it in the box it came in. NO MENTION OF FEES AND CHARGES!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY LIGHTED CHRISTMAS…

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY LIGHTED CHRISTMAS DECOR FROM FG IF YOU WANT IT LIT FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS!
My husband and I have been regular customers of FG for 10+ years, but NO MORE! We purchased in 2019 a 7.5 prelit tree, 11 extra long pre lit garlands, 2 prelit trees in urns for in front of our fireplace a pre lit wreath and a ton of ornaments. We spent a small fortune, but wanted to invest in what we thought was quality CHRISTMAS decor to last for years. One strand of garland around our front door went out after a couple of days, we thought just a fluke. The next year we replaced that strand of lights and our place was gorgeous. Forward to 2023, my tree still lights up but I only have 2 strands of garland, YES I SAID 2, out of 9 that the lights work on. ALL GARLAND does nit light up, my wreath stopped lighting last year and my 2 strands of flicked garland have 1/2 a strand out of 2 that light. I would say dint count on the lights working but the garland is pretty. You can replace all the lights or have a dim CHRISTMAS 😪
And I won't even get into the bed and night stands fiasco. Just know that even on sale, $200 for a strand or 9 of pre UNLIT garland and wreaths is expensive!
Don't order furniture if you need it fast because the first couple of shipments will come broken. FYI
My ornaments from them are gorgeous though.

Loyal Customer over 15 years

I've been purchasing Frontgate products for over 15 years and in that time had one issue, and they corrected the problem immediately without question. I love their products and the company does a wonderful job in the customer service department as well.
