If your attorney suggests using Nova Legal Funding, demand a different company immediately. This is a thoroughly corrupt, predatory operation run by an owner, Ron Sinai, who engages in blatant financial exploitation, illegal breach of contract, and severe racial slurs and discrimination against Black clients right over their main telephone line.

THE EXACT FINANCIAL SCAM:
I am an injured consumer pushing my case forward.

I took out a total of four small advances from Nova Legal Funding, totaling $700 each for a principal total of $2,800 borrowed.
On June 1st, the owner, Ron Sinai, explicitly agreed via email to a finalized, compromised payoff amount of $5,272.50. Our written, binding agreement clearly stated that Nova would stop all interest from continuing to grow on my account from that date forward.

Instead of honoring his own written signature, Ron Sinai completely breached our contract.
They are currently trying to extort $8,600 from my settlement—more than triple the amount I actually borrowed—by completely ignoring the June 1st freeze and maliciously letting the interest inflate.

When you demand a certified transaction ledger or a simple payoff sheet to show the math, they refuse to provide it because they are actively falsifying numbers to gouge consumers.

EXPLICIT RACIAL SLURS ON THEIR MAIN LINE:
When I called out this illegal behavior and demanded they honor the June 1st agreement, the true nature of this company came out.
The owner, Ron Sinai, treats Black clients with utter hatred and white-collar contempt. Right over their main business line, he subjected me to hostile discrimination, treated me like I was subhuman, told me to “pay up little p*ssy,” and explicitly called me a “dumb m*nkey” and a “dumb n*gger.”

He used deeply degrading, hateful language that made it clear he views Black people as nothing more than uneducated targets to be robbed and exploited.

He thinks minority clients are completely blind to contract law and will just cave to intimidation and racial abuse.

Because of their predatory practices, illegal interest inflation, and hostile consumer retaliation, Nova Legal Funding is currently under active investigation by multiple state and federal law enforcement watchdog agencies. Formal cases have been opened and escalated under:

They are currently trying to hide from federal investigators by refusing to log into or onboard with the CFPB regulatory portal to dodge accountability.

This company’s financial retaliation and predatory lien manipulation has directly forced an injured, disabled consumer into an emergency housing and eviction crisis.

Ron Sinai is a predatory, untrustworthy, and deeply prejudiced operator.

They profit off the backs of injured minorities and then use absolute venom when called out.
Save yourself, protect your personal injury lawsuit, and stay far away from these crooks.

I wish zero stars was acceptable. I was approved for funding signed contract, rep gave me the run around for hours when I inquired about tracking number for mailed check. After 3 days of lying Andrea said I will not be getting a check because there underwriter is in Iran taking care of family because of the current issues in our country. She states ONLY he can issue checks. Very unprofessional and they did not honor the contract I signed 3 days before the underwriters "emergency" I know for a fact they are lying because they are still open and operative daily, idk why they fabricated the story but they did
And caused me an extremely difficult situation more difficult

If there’s a zero star I’ll give them but there’s not , my husband was injured overseas while serving US army and he had multiple injuries and multiple cases including wrongful termination of employment and we have hard evidence for that , we apply today and got email from case manager the application is dined is this how you treat Veterans with your unprofessional behavior and disrespect but don’t worry we gave you opportunity to get funded by your guys by there’s a lot right there waiting for us to apply .

They lie they make you do all the paper work then they tell you that you have to have surgery in order to get a loan they lied to me at christmas

Either your company is scamming and stealing money from unsuspecting people, OR somebody is posing as your company and scamming people & stealing money, and YOU need to react and do something about this! What am I supposed to do now ?!

My lawyer had arranged a portion of my legal award money to be loaned to me by nova funding until I received my settlement . They were awesome fast service in my time of need. Thank you nova finding

24 hour approval isn't efficient, my attorney sent everything in Wednesday afternoon, I have a case worth 6 figures and I still haven't received any information about my approval, I contacted them 8/25-my attorney delivered all information necessary on 8/30 Wednesday afternoon. Labor day weekend still no response yet about an approval, as I read through the comments Mercedes is ass at her job and that's who's overseer on my case, hopefully they'll deliver
