The tutor was personable and my daughter really enjoyed working with her. My daughter felt more confident about her math ability. Unfortunately, Fusion is too expensive for us to continue.

We love the teacher’s feedback from each session. We think the zen like feel of the school’s environment is relaxing and comfortable, it feels safe and it’s the perfect space to focus and learn

Our child is very bright, but had severe bumps in the road emotionally compounded by ADHD. Like so many, this was compounded by his public school going remote for more than a year during Covid. Fusion was an ideal alternative, and I feel so fortunate we had the option. They are flexible, caring, and wonderful with teenagers. They are also excellent educators. They truly turned my son's education around, which will serve him well throughout his life.

My granddaughter is off to a great start at Fusion near Dupont Circle DC. Her teachers are very caring,, management has been very responsive.

The teachers were both really strong and got my daughter through the entire 11th grade math and english syllabus in 2 months. We were very impressed with the level of teaching and they made new subjects very accessible.

Assessment is based on feedback from our son who was the primary consumer. He told us that he enjoyed learning with Fusion instructors and that he would like to do so again. He was somewhat frustrated with the inability to engage as freely online and sometimes the instructor was late to the class due to the time difference between Washington and Seoul. Overall though when the instructor did engage, our son found the nature and type of engagement to be helpful and conducive to his learning.

Everyone was flexible and helpful with the schedule and the syllabus.

Fusion Academy is a great school. They have excellent teachers and administrators. It’s a little bit on the expensive side but it’s worth it. Highly recommended.

Never felt that the staff or teachers were qualified. Credits accrued did not transfer- the local county said fusion did not meet their standards- and I don’t blame them.

Teachers were gig employees and staff was the bottom of the barrel. Save your money.

Fusion Academy has helped my child complete high school when a traditional setting was not working for her. The teachers have all been wonderful, understanding and flexible, fitting curriculum to her interests when possible. The administration and staff has taken a genuine interest in who she is and not treated her like a number in a large student population.

I like Fusion very much in terms of offering individual and personalized learning for those students who need or prefer it. However, Fusion’s salary system does not offer income stability for teachers, it should provide decent base salary for teachers so that Fusion can retain teacher. Now the turn over is too high. In future campus, I think Fusion should have a campus more than a building, should have some outside space. Outdoor activity is very important for students’ physical and mental health.

Despite having perfect grades all her life, due to very negative school experiences, my daughter had given up on high school. Fusion Academy’s DC Campus newly appointed Principal and the Head of Studies would not “allow” my daughter to quit. Purely by working together with us, through positive reinforcement and patience, they nurtured my daughter back to school. Slowly they fueled her thirst for learning and built her confidence and trust.
Fusion Academy consistently strives at maintaining the highest standards of education that is unbiased and completely tailored to each individual’s needs.
The head of the DC campus quickly identified that by meeting with my child weekly she could understand my child’s concerns. She booked weekly meetings where they address potential issues, manage expectations, provide feedback, plan next steps and, most importantly make sure that my child’s enthusiasm for learning is always kept at the highest levels.
My daughter completed her primary and middle school education in different countries. Since classes are structured differently abroad, if my daughter were at a any other school, despite her being an excellent student, she would very likely have had to repeat several of her classes. The head of Fusion DC did not rest until the school abroad sent her all necessary documentation that confirms all the classes/work my daughter has done. It was a long process which required time, hard word and persistence.
As a result, my daughter is able to take more advanced classes at Fusion DC which will make a whole world of difference when applying to college. My daughter is beaming and as hungry as I have ever seen for knowledge.
Fusion Academy truly differentiates itself by tailoring their teaching to each individual.
Every single time I have requested a meeting, sent an email, placed a call or even visited the school I was given all the time I needed and my concerns were addressed promptly and efficiently.
