A follow up of my 06/02/2026 review

A follow up of my 06/02/2026 review. It was about receiving a defective solar powered watch (exposed to daylight for more than 4 hours and did not last a couple of days in the dark, while its manual says that 8 minutes is enough for 1 day operation) and the refusal of Gioiapura to accept that, retaining 20,00 euros as courier's devolution fee. Today I received the refund discounted that amount. I suppose the watch is back to their shelves. Beware. Never again.

As already communicated during the exchange with our customer care team, a technical inspection was carried out once the product was returned. The watch was not found to be defective: being a solar model, it requires adequate and continuous exposure to light to maintain its charge over time. The instructions in the manual explain that, starting from an empty charge, many more hours of light exposure are needed to ensure long-lasting autonomy, especially if the watch is then left in darkness for extended periods.

For this reason, the refund has been handled according to the return conditions accepted at the time of the request, which are always available and consultable on our website, allowing customers to evaluate their purchase and the return procedures in the most informed way possible.

We nevertheless understand your point of view and sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We remain available through our official channels should you require any further clarification.

No support for English

No support for English. Customer service doesn't answer. I called customer service, the automatic responder told me if I want to continue with English press 2. I pressed but the customer service agent told me she doesn't speak English and hunged up...
I also wrote an email to customer service and they didn't answer too.
I was satisfied with the delivery, it was faster then planned.

Awful experience, wish for improvement so that it doesn't happen to anyone else

I made an online purchase of two ear cuffs. One of them was missing a part and was scratched with the gold plating worn off, a complete mess; the other one was very scratched. When I wrote to complain, they told me I had to pay for the return and didn't even ask for photographs. When I mentioned that it wasn't fair for me to have to pay for such a damaged item (someone should have checked its condition before shipping) I had to fight through several emails because they said it was normal for the plating to wear off and they didn’t facilitate the return of the item, directing me to their return pages which, besides being complicated, charged me for it.

Even in one of the emails, after sending the photographs, they asked me if I had cleaned it because sometimes silver can oxidize (there's a big resine ball missing on the ear cuff???) and in another email, they said I wasn't clear with my purpose, blaming the customer.

In the end, I got the refund, but I didn’t find their way of acting or their manner correct since they created multiple complications and told me in the emails that they didn’t understand what was happening or what was wrong with the order.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews because I don’t feel comfortable doing so, but I believe this should change so that no one else has to go through this.

The worst!!! Avoid!!!!!!

Wow the customer service here is nonexistent, avoid at all costs!!
I bought a gold necklace for my daughter and broke in little pieces after only a day, this was close to 200€.
Now i request help, no answer and i finally get an answer from Paypal as dispute in which it is agreed they reimburse for the catastrophe they sent me, well guess what? Package also got lost from DHL as confirmed by them and i got no necklace and no refund!!
And for all i get an answer once a month from the customer service with nonanswers avoiding help.
I don’t think i ever wasted my money like this before, money in the trash! Don’t waste yours too, defective products and you won’t get a cent back
Edit- I have been providing all information since months, tracking and i have the email from DHL as a confirmed loss yet i have zero help from Gioiapura so far!! I receive only answer every several weeks with no help at all even though i provide all what you’re here asking as if i hadn’t done so already, i’m tired of this all back and forth to no avail

A satisfied cystomer from Greece

I bought a piece of jewelry online from Gioiapura and I was very pleased because it is the same as the photo on the website, the discounted price was very good, it arrived on time the company promised me from the beginning and they sent me a message on the same day of receipt, the jewelry was in a very nice box along with its paper bag. And most importantly the package sent to Greece without shipping costs with absolute security. It is very advantageous purchase for Greece, which is why I will make a purchase again. The only thing I would suggest to Gioiapura, is to include the dimensions of all the jewelry on its website products because this is very useful for the customer.

Order cancellation/Customer support

Hello,
Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the website and customer support! Order number 2105044.
I tried to contact support to check the status of my order, because it is a gift and i am in hurry a little bit, but I did not receive any response. I also couldn’t reach you by phone, as the line was busy. I canceled the order, but apart from the automatic email, I haven’t received any further reply nor have I received a refund, except that the status changed from “in order” to “in process.”
If you need more info about the order or details I am at your disposal.

Unbelievable

They sent me a necklace that didn't match the product images or description. I call that false advertising. And after requesting the correct product or a refund, they say I have to pay to return the wrong item. Draw your own conclusions. I would like to know what my responsibility is in having to pay for the seller's mistake. After I send my review they want more detais. I already send send Photoshop, I explain the item is not according the descripition and the pictures. Is funny because I ask how the want to do to collect and they dont reply me back. Update this situation: Today 13.08.25 i received un email from GioiaPura saying that the returns of the items from abroad have costs and I have 1 month to return the item. They will try to solve the problem. But now my question is already pass 1 month because of them dont solve the issue. UNBELIEVABLE. Is easy to play with the money from the costomers.
