I haven't used it yet as I've been told I cant use with firefox, which I have been using for years and feels comfortable and safe and I like that it is a community-run and it gives me a voice in how it is run!
With multiple learning difficulties, these things are important. I don't want to use another one as they hijack my firefox

Lots of room for improvement. The app doesn't have the same features as the desktop version. Tablets are the future notebooks and there should be stylus compatibility and slide import options. All desktop features and more should be accessible on the app version.

Great that I can capture audio and import images but lack of basic audio editing seriously limits the app for me. I can't tell you how often I've forgot to pause for breakout sessions or end at finish of lectures etc. The fact that you can't cut and trim etc is a big limiting factor when I have to fish about to find starts and ends etc.

Software is good but missing many necessary features:

Ability to Bold, Italicize, and Underline, change text color and size

Open more than one Glean tab at a time in effort to compare multiple notes

Not needed but adding voice to text would take Glean to the next level

Glean has AMAZING customer service. They are always thinking ahead and providing useful educational materials. I can't say enough good things about them!

Excellent software! I have ADHD, and this software has been invaluable to my learning over the last few terms. I cannot imagine going back to my student-life before I had Glean!

What I liked: The ability to bookmark and type notes during the recording.

What I did not like: The app interface was too simplistic with a blank screen and a ‘+’ button. I had to fiddle about before I worked out what I needed to do. It is because of this reason why I did not continue using it after the trial period.

If it was made more user friendly, I would difinitely continue to use it as the bookmark feature allowed me to listen again from that point rather than through the whole recording.

I believe there is a balance that could be struck where the interface is more user friendly without a lot of tips etc.

Very useful note-making recording tool for lectures but missing use of colours and export as video from Audio Notetaker.

I use Glean during my college classes. The classes are recorded, but the quality is not always good. With Glean, I am able to record classes with consistent clarity and quality. I wish Glean could record visual along with audio. Good Job Glean Team!!

I have been using Glean for just over a year. What I have found to be really useful is capturing the audio of online webinars and training sessions and annotating the audio so that I can review my notes. I have challenges with attention and slow processing and so even when I zone out, the information that I need is captured. Glean is my 'Go To' software for capturing good quality notes in training and educational settings. Highly recommended. Why four stars? I would love it to capture video too, but hey you can't have everything and this software is still brilliant!

Easy to use, makes taking audio notes a breeze. I can revisit the audio file anytime I need to, create my own notes.
Where was this when I was taking grad classes!?
