Don’t use Go Airlink NYC, read other reviews.

On arrival we followed instructions implicitly but would have been better using the paper for the toilet.
Welcome desk person was totally disinterested and ignorant.
The phones to call #18 didn’t work.
We finally managed a contact and a greeter came and said that the driver was waiting in the departure terminal. ( We had just arrived, did they think we were on a round trip)
The return driver is the reason I gave two stars as he did all he could to get us to the airport in time otherwise it would be zero.
We were first pick up but we were in the minibus for 3 hours.
Go airlink NYC need to sort out the organisation and organising.

2 hour wait

2 hour wait, no notification, no confirmation, no ride.

Finally when talking over the phone with the nice lady who waited, answered, and tried her best to find a solution, we discover the 2 drivers who were assigned to pick her up (Kishor and Steven) never called the passenger, however they say they did (They lied. They never called)

Worst experience. NEVER AGAIN.

And I hope the great employee who answered the phone and treated us with respect find a better company. They don't deserve her.

Would be zero if able, do not use this service. Driver late both ways, return journey no room to sit or for luggage until I rearranged baggage for room to fit my own luggage. Customer service a joke. Drivers aren’t very professional. Cheap is not the best option here. Trust uber or private hire even though they are more expensive.

Over 2 hours late, then took the longest route.

I had high hopes for this airport shuttle service after an easy booking process and being able to schedule my pickup well ahead of time. The price was also slightly lower than other options. Sadly, my experience turned out to be awful. I hope this review saves someone else from the same.

On Friday, August 29, 2025, I had estimated an 8:10 am pickup time from LaGuardia Airport. it was to be a shared ride in an SUV heading to central Manhattan. By the time I grabbed my bag at baggage claim, it was 8:15. I hit the "Ready Now" button in the text message I'd received. Then I waited. and waited. No reply, the ETA on the map said "not available". By the way, before my trip, I had called the company to ask where I would meet the car - do I go outside baggage claim? The answer was a firm "no", and they said I should wait inside and the driver would come to me. I said "you mean he'll be inside the airport?" And she said yes, at the Welcome Center.

So, I called the company at 8:37 am - 22 minutes after telling them I was ready for pickup. (Why wasn't the driver already there if I was scheduled for 8:10?). A female apologized and said someone would be on their way soon. The driver would alert me when he was there, which would be 15-20 minutes. A bit after I hung up, the ETA showed 26 minutes. Obviously, the driver had not even left home yet.

37 minutes after that call ended, the driver still wasn't there Call #2 to the company. Now, a seemingly nice man apologized and said "the driver has had car trouble. But we're sending you a private car, a sedan, for free!" How long, I asked. Again, I got 15-20 minutes. So we waited. Oh well - car trouble happens, and at least we're not sharing the ride. Right?

45 more minutes pass, and it's now 10:00, almost 2 hours since I was supposed to be whisked away into Manhattan. The ETA on the map had gotten all the way down to "1 minute" and then "Almost There!" but then mysteriously started creeping up again. WTF. Waiting and searching for that "private sedan."

I called Go Airlink for a THIRD time. I was told (by a new person) that the new driver would be there in 3-5 minutes, and she said the ETA I was seeing wasn't associated with the new driver. At this point, we are outside in the Car Service garage, because clearly no one is coming to retrieve me at the Welcome Center. Of course, throughout this ordeal, we kept thinking we should just grab an Uber and be done with it. But I had paid almost $70 already, and didn't want to lose that.

When I hung up, I noticed I'd missed a call. I called back and it was our driver saying he was there. I looked and saw no sedan anywhere. A man gets out of an SUV and waves his hands.... A shared ride SUV that had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes before calling me. We had no way of knowing who he was, where to go, etc... And where the heck was our "private sedan, free of charge?"

Obviously I was fuming, but tried to keep my cool. "Sorry, we were looking for a sedan, not this shared SUV." He just smiled and mumbled. So, then I asked "Are you Muhammed?" To which he said yes. "So, you're the person who had car trouble and was supposed to be here 2 hours ago?" Then he said something about having just gotten the pick-up request 20-30 minutes ago. At that point, I just let it go - mostly becuase there was another passenger sharing the ride and I didn't want to ruin their day!

About 10 minutes into the journey, I decided to turn on my GPS to get a feel for how much longer it would be. The GPS says 13 minutes, but only if we make a U-TURN! "Um, excuse me, but it appears we're heading in the opposite direction of midtown," I say. The driver says "Oh, I go a different way because the tolls are $11, and I don't want to pay that." I am rendered speechless at this point. One would think, after all the crap we'd been through, that the driver would do his best to get us there asap. But no. What should've taken us about 25 minutes or less took 45 minutes.

Bottom line - VERY sketchy company. Flat out lied to me about car trouble, private cars, and then had no apology and even made the trip longer due to taking the worst route. Stick with the tried and true - yellow taxis or Uber/Lyft.

Extremely disappointed with the service…

Extremely disappointed with the service from Go Airlink Shuttle NYC

On July 20, 2025, our shuttle was scheduled at 2:30 PM — a time recommended by the company itself — but the driver didn’t arrive until 3:06 PM, a 36-minute delay. He did not apologize or offer any explanation. Along the way, he picked up two additional rides, and we were then stuck in traffic due to an accident on the way to the airport. What should have been a 47-minute ride turned into 1 hour and 50 minutes. We were finally dropped off at the airport at 4:55 PM, while our flight was scheduled for 5:30 PM. As a result, we were denied boarding.

This delay forced us to:
➡️ Book a hotel for the night
➡️ Spend money on meals
➡️ Pay additional parking fees
➡️ Rebook a flight the following day

I called the company shortly after the missed shuttle time, and then formally filed a complaint. I received a reply on July 22, stating that an investigation was underway. I then sent a follow-up email on Monday, July 28, but I have still not received any update — hence this public comment.

This is completely unprofessional.
I am still waiting for a full refund of the shuttle fare and all costs incurred due to this unacceptable service.

I would strongly advise against using Go Airlink Shuttle NYC, especially if you rely on them for timely airport transfers.

Just get an Uber it is cheaper and you won’t get scammed

They are scammers. I booked two shared rides paid for both. First one canceled got refunded 03/18/25 for a reservation for 03/16/25. I just happened to check the night before on 3/17/25 for the 03/18/25 reservation. on second reservation and they canceled that one as well. Claimed they called to let me know they do not pick up in my area. They claimed they call to explain this. There was a call with no message. I had to get an Uber paid for the Uber. So I paid twice. Go Airlink never refunded me for the second cancellation and I have left numerous messages won’t return my messages have two separate reservation numbers for two separate days for two different airports. They even lied to Trustpilot stating they refunded me for both trips but I only received one refund. The first refund was approved on 03/16/25 and hit my bank on 03/18/25. They had my review for the first one taken down because they lied about my second refund to Trust pilot. They failed to telling them there were two reservations therefore, I am due two refunds. Trustpilot should to verify information before removing reviews. See they are scammers. .Do not use !!!!!

Go Airlink NYC needs to hire professional office staff

I have used this service a few times when traveling to NY and I have never had any issues before. The drivers have always been the best! I am typically traveling for medical visits, and the turnaround is the same day or within 24 hours. On last week I used this service from the airport on Monday and scheduled a return trip, to the airport on Tue afternoon. On Tue morning, I realized that my appts were running behind, so I call the company 2 hours before my scheduled pick to inquire about scheduling for a later time on the same day. I called and explained why I was calling and requested at later pick up. The office person immediately said "No...I can't do that...too late". I asked if I could pay an additional fee as I still needed the wheelchair accessible vehicle. The office person then started to shout.," I told you no already...I am not explaining it again". I asked could I speak with a manager and then the person hung up. I immediately called back, and the person picked up the phone and hung it up again. I tried to call back within 15 minutes and the person hung up again. The Go airlink NYC car arrived at the original time, and I was still at my appt. I missed the ride. I then had to get a uber to the airport.

We waited for 2 hours in baggage claim…

We waited for 2 hours in baggage claim for our driver to arrive. Several phone calls to the company were very unhelpful. We ended up canceling our return trip to the airport when they wouldn’t upgrade us to a private car so we wouldn’t have to worry about missing our flight.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Please for the love of God read the reviews on here and Google BEFORE booking. Driver Samuel Coston arrived an hour late for my international flight pickup. I had to call customer service four times and each time they lied about how far away the driver was. I was also told that I was the last person to be picked up but 10 minute in we pickup another person. Several people ended up missing their flights despite leaving on time 3-4 hours before their flight. I will personally be reaching out to the company about reimbursing me for my missed flight. Book at your own peril.

Awful from start to finish

Awful customer service, waited over an hour and a half for the shuttle and the driver was using his phone a lot whilst driving. Driver was rude when asked which stop was next and then said “I don’t know!”
I wouldn’t recommend no matter how cheap it is

Aggressive driver

We were picked up 25 min late by the most rude and aggressive driver, I have ever met. And have been doing business travels globally for 25 years. That was insane. He was driving in the emergency lane, forcing the bus in between other cars, honking the horn constantly, and when not doing that, he was on the phone ordoi g something else.
At first he also refused to drop us off at our terminal.
My son 15 years, wanted to get off to take a train, he was scared.

Tried to book a transfer from JFK to the Sheraton Times Square. Good price! BUT when booking a round trip the entered details were not accepted, no return time for our required date appeared to be available. Frustrating and time consuming. Looking at the other reviews it seems this is a company o be avoided.

DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

My wife travelled to NYC yesterday having booked her ride several weeks back. Got to JFK, no collection. She waited, but no one showed. She called and was reassured her lift was on its way and would be 20 minutes. An hour later, nothing! She tried calling again and again but no one picked up, she tried texting, but no one replied. UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE. Like so many other s below this review. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Be aware

Be aware, it’s not a good service. Me and my family we had terrible experience because the driver never showed up in the LGA airport. My plane from Tampa was on the delay for few hours. I called GoAirlink in the morning to let them know, and was informed by lady named Hannah that everything will be alright. She only asked to give them call back after my arrival. When landed in LGA I did call customer service again and was waiting almost two hours. Unfortunately, their bus never showed up, and the driver never called me. I’m not familiar with Queens, but took a green cab to the hotel; it was very comfortable. My family and me will never make reservation with GoAirlink again.

If i could leave zero stars i would

If i could leave zero stars i would. Booked a reservation and within 1 minute of booking realized i made a mistake and called right away to cancel. The woman i spoke to said there is an $85 cancellation fee and I repeated it back to her and said $85 that’s almost triple the fair. The started to yell and me and say that’s our cancellation fee you can pay it or change your reservation. I explained the reservation was booked 2 minutes prior and there is no way I would be rebooking with a company that is so nasty.

She proceeded to yell at me for another minute and asked for my email that was provided on the confirmation.

I haven’t experienced this level of disrespect from a company in a long time. Thank god I didn’t go through with the reservation…

Convenient airport to hotel rides

I have used this service twice. Both times I booked the shared ride. My first trip in July I had the entire bus to myself both ways. My second trip this December they upgraded me to a private car for free! All the drivers I rode with were extremely friendly.
