Grivet Outdoors is the only place I could find the exact pair of running shorts that I’ve been using for over a decade after the manufacturer discontinued that line. I bought two pairs. They arrived quickly and were perfect. You know how it is when you find a piece of gear that works and rely on it for a long time, only to no longer be able to find it anywhere. G.O. really came through for me.

Excellent customer service
I was looking for a pair of last season’s shoes that were hard to find, and I was so excited when Grivet had them. Most unfortunately, they were lost in the mail. Grivet was great, though. They asked me to wait a couple days to see if the shoes could be found then issued a full refund without me having to ask. A+ customer service, I would happily shop here again.
Incompetent and unhelpful
I purchased shoes online with Grivet Outdoors because they had the specific Oofos flip flop my mom asked for as her Mother’s Day gift. I’ve never heard of this company before so looked them up to verify they were legit before making the purchase. I clearly ordered a size 8 women’s shoe as my order reflects; however, they sent me a size 10 women’s shoe. I immediately reached out to bring the mistake to their attention both through their online contact form and by email (which included photos of the wrong shoes they sent). I called at the end of the following day when I had not heard anything back. The woman I spoke to, Kimberly, said she worked in customer service but seems to be lacking any of the skills that someone on custom service should have. Her suggestion to me was that I could purchase another pair of shoes and pay for expedited shipping in order to get them on time for Mother’s Day. She explained that their system does not do exchanges so I would have to basically purchase the shoes again. I asked if she could comp the expedited shipping since it was not my fault they sent me the wrong shoes … something I would have expected to be offered rather than me having to ask. She said she could try to look into that but did not commit. She then said that she was already doing me a favor by giving me a full refund and not charging me anything for the return (mind you on the wrong size shoes that the company sent me). I laughed out loud and said “I should hope you would give me a full refund since you guys did not send me the shoes I ordered!” At that point she scolded me for being rude and yelling at her and said that she was “no longer willing to help me”. I am literally in disbelief. Not only did Kimberly offer no way to rectify the mistake that her company made, she did not even offer an apology. I like supporting small businesses and could have given this place a lot of business in the future, but because of how poorly this was handled, Grivet Outdoors will never get another penny from me. I understand mistakes happen (though I’ve never had the wrong size shoe sent to me before), but the complete lack of ownership or even just civility in dealing with the issue is totally unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering making a purchase with this company to find a bigger company that invests in customer service training for their staff and will stand behind their products and their transactions.

My refund amount was significantly different than my purchase price. I returned 2 items of the same cost and was refunded different amounts. No explanation was given. I returned items within the time frame and items were never used.
Great price on SAXX
They had the item in stock at a big discount when everyone else was sold out. I lost my SAXX mid-weight half-zip and needed a replacement. Grivet had one, nobody else did.

I should have read these horrible reviews before ordering online. Ordered shoes, waited 3 business days and emailed Grivet asking for the status. Zero order status communication after the sale and they don't answer their phone or email. $96.00 ripoff

Purchase was made and confirmed. One week later the purchase was canceled with a notice that there was insufficient stock to cover the single item. The item still shows for sale on their website in the same size and color. Buyer Beware.
