Great product and great customer service
I have had my 8ft x 10ft Rhino greenhouse for 15 months and am still delighted with it. The construction quality is excellent. I paid extra for Rhino's recommended installer to assemble the greenhouse and he did a superb job and completed it in 3 hours without a break. I was relieved because, having shown my wife the lengthy instruction manual and parts list, she forbade me from assembling it myself - possibly the best decision she made last year! Rhino were very helpful with advice over the phone on building a suitable strip-concrete foundation on my sloping site. My only slight niggle is that Rhino don't warn about birds (mainly pigeons in my garden) perching on the ends of the and pooping generously. This ends up as lumps of goo in the gutters and then onwards to the rainwater butts. After considering buying a pair of finials at vast expense, to try a wire stretched between, I opted for stainless steel bird spikes (I recommend birdspikesonline.co.uk). These fit perfectly along the ridge and are surprisingly unobtrusive.
12x8 Premium Package in Blue Grass
We ordered a 12x8 Premium in Blue Grass with the package of integrated staging, auto vents, roof blinds and finnials. While waiting for delivery I built a brick perimeter base on concrete foundations with a centre path and shingle drainage.
The quality of the construction is amazingly good. The parts are very accurately machined, sturdy and finished in a high quality powder coating. The toughened 4 mm glass is marked with the Rhino logo and is easy to handle with no sharp edges. The door fits perfectly and slides very smoothly. Basically it is the Rolls Royce of greenhouses (which you might expect because it costs about 5x as much as the cheap ones from China).
So why only 4 stars? The instructions!!! They come as a very impressive A3 “book” but the first problem is that they cover every possible size variation. The parts list has a cryptic numbering system where part of the number and the quantity depends on the size of your model, sorted by the box they came in not numerically. The second problem is that each assembly section is very generalised to describe all the different possible sizes and configurations. It’s also very chatty and sprinkled with marketing-speak, often with crucial steps buried in the middle of stuff you thought didn’t apply to you. The third problem is the diagrams. Many assemblies (e.g. the door posts) can fit two ways round and the diagrams do not make it clear so you just waste a lot of time puzzling over it, looking for tiny clues and experimenting. It really made me wonder whether they had tested the instructions on a real, live customer with no prior knowledge of what they were building.
Finally - the glazing. It’s hard! You don’t really need the glass suction tool but you will definitely need a glazing paddle, plus I used a 1 kg glazing mallet. The glazing beads seal well but are a very tight fit and must be installed in a way that keeps each pane central. It takes practice and you will learn various techniques as you go along. I suspect this sort of glazing is always going to be difficult and time consuming, but necessary to get good, watertight seals.
I was in no tearing rush and the build took about two weeks on and off (plus another two weeks to prepare the base). Sure, a professional will do it in a day but you won’t.
My suggestion to Rhino is that they provide a clear step-by-step set of instructions for each build standard and use a simple numerical part numbering scheme on a separate parts list, with a part identifier stuck on every part. Close up diagrams of how all the profiles join and a proper set of long videos would make life a lot easier.
Anyway, I don’t want this to sound too negative because the finished greenhouse is a work of art and looks like it will last a very long time. This ultimately is what matters.
Update 2 weeks later:
The two triple vents are supplied with 4 x Bayliss XL autovent openers. This is a very flimsy, entry level autovent with plastic adjustment parts and clamps. In temperatures exceeding 30C one disintegrated after a few days and another a couple of days after that. Bayliss were very good about it and sent me 4 x Bayliss Mk 7’s which is a far more robust all-metal unit attached by nuts and bolts to the frame. I believe Rhino are redesigning the autovent but really the XL should never have been supplied and is completely unsuitable for this type of heavy, premium greenhouse.
Rhino are not great on customer relations or service. I emailed them with my concerns even before the breakages but they do not respond unless you call them. Do they read reviews like this? Recommended practice is to post a response to let customers know how they are dealing with such issues.

Simply the best greenhouse on the market
Rhino greenhouses are by far the most sturdy professional greenhouse you could wish for your garden. The company is easy to deal with from beginning to end and they recommended a great erector for me called Nick Manonhill from St Andrews.
The only greenhouse you need!
I wanted a greenhouse and wanted to make sure it was the best you can get. Rhino are the best! I visited their showroom in Norfolk and the staff were lovely helping me to choose. It was delivered when they said and they advised me about fitter to install it and he was brilliant too. When I had a problem with the doors it was dealt with quickly and easily and at no extra cost. The quality is amazing and I have not regretted one single penny spent on it. I’ve got a Premium 12 x 8 with all the extras. My only problem is I should have got a bigger one!

Appalling service for spare parts
Appalling service for spare parts. After placing an order 10 days later no parts Unable to contact by phone no one picks up the call it just goes to voice mail. Three days after leaving a message an email arrived stating that their delivery for spares is 21 days despite charging £6 for delivery. After responding to the received email an automated response was received informing me they would respond in 72 hours. The parts are just small items that would go in a jiffy bag and posted. We had good service when we purchased the greenhouse and have been very satisfied with it. We are about to purchase a second one but in view of the now poor customer service I doubt it will be a Rhino.
Disability Discrimination
Applied for Sales role and despite having extensive Sales experience was rejected. I presume they don't want a 66 year old with Prostate Cancer and Arthritis!
Shame on you!

Not worth the hassle of finding someone to build it
The greenhouse was delivered after several changes of date. The recommended builder lives 4 hours away round trip, and charges for fuel, which is fair enough, but very costly duringthisfuel crisis. We found someone closer to home but having read the instructions he noticed it said it required 2 men 2 days to erect this. Had we realised all this we would have chosen a different greenhouse.

Superb delivery communication and off load. Excellent quality materials used. Difficult plans to follow on a self installed greenhouse. This would be improved with actual photographs of the critical areas for the chosen greenhouse not profiles of parts.
It is not a simple DIY project and I would suggest an improved installer is an investment in your time and stress for this quality product.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I was talked down to and treated as if I was an idiot.
Expected to pay more than what they estimate for their recommended installers.
In fairness the greenhouse is high quality.
I would shop for another greenhouse company if I could do it all over again.
Robust connstruction and attention to detail make this greenhouse well worth the money.
So far I'm quite delighted my Rhino Ultimate greemhouse. It's really sturdy, looks good beside our new house, has well fitted glass and smooth running doors. Of course the proof of a greenhouse is what can be grown in it and time will tell, but the vents, automatic openers, staging and several other well thought out details are a promising start.
The ordering, delivery to our property in the north of Scotland, and on-site erection were efficiently carried out by competent and very pleasant staff.
Having spent more than a year planning which greenhouse to buy and studying in detail all the options available I am confident I made the right decision to go for quality and robustness.

The 25 year warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, three months so far in trying to get a defective window hinge replaced, which they said they would do on this occasion!
Due to the time scale, everything in the greenhouse is ruined.
When the greenhouse was installed the fitter managed to shatter one of the glass panels, the glass clean up was poor to say the least (time is money) and was left to us to pick the pieces out of the lawn.
After paying absolute top money for a product, one would have expected better.
Rubbish rhino
The whole experience was terrible. From erecting it to putting up with the near useless door .lt looks nice in the modern colour but l can honestly say it's probably one of the worst things I have ever purchased....... rubbish 😭
Rhino Premier greenhouse a winner to be repeated
We bought a Rhino Premier greenhouse a couple of years ago and are extremely happy with it. It has survived Scottish winters and gales without any problem. In fact wwe are so happy with our Rhino greenhouse that we have another, bigger one, on order.
Very happy with this green house.
Very happy with this green house.
Has got through a few storms unscathed in four years
If you are anywhere exposed they are the greenhouse to go for.
What an amazing company
What an amazing company, from my first enquiry to the recommended build teams, Rhino are the best. I love the Facebook support group where everyone shares their growing journey. My greenhouse is the best investment I have ever made. Such a high quality product. Brilliant product!
Parts missing on delivery
Parts missing on delivery, they were sent. Installer (recommended by Rhino) arrived started installing and parts missing.
Can never get through to them by phone or email, they get back to you after a day or so.
Have now to arrange to be here another day in 2 weeks time for installer to return.
Shoddy customer service
A testament to the durability of Rhino Greenhouses
This review is a testament to the durability of Rhino Greenhouses as we have now owned ours for over 18 years and it looks as good today as the day we installed it, well after a clean. The only thing we have replaced in all that time is one of the four auto openers. We have noted that the doors on more recent ones are even better than ours but it still functions perfectly. I would always recommend them to friends
