Warranty and Customer service.
Having had our used Elddis caravan now for 5 months, a couple of small issues cropped up with the van, speaking to the aftercare service team the Caravan went in for rectification under Greentree warranty, all except 1 issue resolved on this visit. The outstanding item had to be ordered in, The Greentree aftercare team kept in communication and now the replacement part is in stock the Caravan goes back in this weekend to have this fitted - very pleased with the service and commitment to the warranty work. Thank you Andy and Louise Woodcock.

In September 2023 I was encouraged to take out a 3 year service plan in advance as prices where likely to increase, the plan would start in August 2024. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I had to give up my van I requested a refund but was told that they don't give refunds. As Ii have been a customer for many years and spent thousands of pounds including 3 caravans I can't believe that customer service/ loyalty meant so little! When I paid for the plan nobody told me that their policy is that they didn't give refunds, they just took my payment with no explanation. As an 80 year old pensioner I can ill afford to lose this money. Extremely disappointed with the company!!
Our Elddis Chatsworth was booked in for…
Our Elddis Chatsworth was booked in for its annual service, which is year one of our 3 year servicing plan. We had advised Greentrees of various small minor issues prior to booking it in and at check in all issues were confirmed. Upon collecting the caravan, all issues were highlighted and the appropriate work undertaken was explained, with all problems resolved to our satisfaction. Each and every problem we had was expertly covered in the collection review and whilst we never look to find negative points, we are pleased to say that there were none. We have been and are extremely pleased with the service we have had with Greentrees, moreso with the fact that this current caravan was not purchased from them. Well done to all the staff and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the forthcoming years.

I recently purchased a Brand new Alicanto Grande Evora from Greentrees, (my first caravan ever) throughout my experience with the purchase I found the company to be very profesional friendly and simple process.
After 2 weeks I had a couple of small things needing adjusted and I called them, the had the van in within 2 days and picked it up the next day, Simple!
I even got to meet Mr Greentrees himself in the way out we had a chat and I found him the friendliest person you could wish to meet, he answered a few questions I had as being a newbie on caravanning there are many. Fully recommend, the shop there, has everything there also
A Company with no Moral Compass...just T&C's!
I have delayed writing this review as I was fearful of how the company would deal with me while my van was under warranty and going to them for servicing. But now that it is out of warranty, I feel free to speak about what has been a truly unbelievable experience.
I bought my caravan from Greentrees in 2021. The sale went smoothly and all was well. In 2022 the caravan developed a cracked scenic window which under warranty was to be replaced. When I went to collect my caravan after its repair, all seemed fine and I checked that everything was ok. I went home and didn't use the caravan for a while but when I did I noticed that the table had a deep dent in it which was only visible when sitting at the table and which was obviously caused by the dropping of a heavy object while in the workshop repairing the window above. When I approached Greentrees they were incredibly defensive and refused to engage in a way that I would have expected of a company into whose care I had entrusted my van. I was told that under the T&C's there was no redress as time had elapsed. They even averted their eyes and looked away when I tried to show them the damage, utterly refusing to engage with me over the damage. Then to add insult to injury they offered to book the caravan in to repair the table and charge me to repair the damage they had caused. I was to say the least, flabbergasted!
Clearly, to me at least, the damage was caused in the workshop and whoever caused the damage didn't wish to confess to it and report it, perhaps for fear of some form of disciplinary process or reprisal. It doesn't bode well if workers are afraid to admit such things for fear of reprisals, leaving the customer to be accused as in my case of causing the damage.
I wrote and complained to the company with no joy as they merely hid behind their T&C's failing to see any moral responsibility for the damage. I would have expected them to foot at least a part of the bill for replacement given that some time had passed, but their tone was rude, uncompromising and again incredibly defensive.
I have read many other of the negative reviews for Greentrees, of which there are many and most of which chime exactly with my experience, particularly the phrase which appears time and again "they hid behind their T&C's". They do, and ignore any moral element in their work.
I booked a mobile servicer for my caravan this year as I didn't trust Greentrees not to damage it again. When I told him the story, his answer was; "Pfff Greentrees, all I will say is you are not alone".
No doubt they will respond to this review with some comment about T&C's, and try in other ways to whitewash their reputation and make me sound like a serial moaner (which I'm not, I rarely write negative reviews). But ultimately what it boils down to is a company which puts profit above moral responsibility and is able to get away with it because nobody with clout is prepared to call it out.
They benefit from being the only Swift dealer in the area which gives them cover and enables them to get away with this behaviour. Suffice to say that I won't be going near them again and would suggest anyone needing repairs to their van go elsewhere.
Another excellent visit to Greentrees…
Another excellent visit to Greentrees trees last week.
I had three or four issues, including a leak and a problem with the water pump. Everything was fixed and shown to me, with a full explanation, when I collected the caravan. Anything I wanted to know was explained to me fully.
The workshop was outstanding. Last year I knocked one of the mudguards and one piece broke off and another area cracked. I discovered that a replacement was not possible due to the piece being obsolete.
The workshop not only managed to glue the crack, but also the piece that broke off and patch a hole next to it.
The finished result was superb, and you would never know that it had been broken. I’m so pleased.
This visit was another example of the excellent service I have received over many years. The staff have always been lovely and willing to help in any way they can.
Thank you again.

Greentree Adventure Store
Following our purchase of our first motorhome last August (2023), we encountered a series of issues which supposedly were to be corrected before collection! While this is a 2008 van, and I am adult enough to realise things get worn. However, after using the van once during its warranty, we experienced a diesel leak. This turned out to be the filter. Should have been replaced under the service! Arrange to get this sorted after waiting some time, to collect it after corrective works. The next time we use the van, we dump a massive amount of diesel on the public highway! Guess the cause? Diesel filter. Apparently, Greentrees were in aware of this fiat issue🤔. Common sense prevailing, this unit should have been replaced, end of! Not only did we lose a 3rd of a tank of diesel over 80 miles, we were forced to purchase a new filter unit via Amazon prime, forced to stay additional time on site, unable seek provisions, awaiting a replacement which I had to fit myself! Following a call, if I submit all costs, they may/may not provide a contribution towards our inconvenience!? 1 star should be ZERO

I would like to thank the staff, especially Shannon and Leah, for helping us with the warranty repairs on our new caravan. Everything is now sorted and working well.
Both Shannon and Leah went that extra mile. We have found all the staff at Greentrees to be helpful and accommodating.
I just wish we had brought our two previous caravans from Greentrees!

Poor experience ordering from…
Poor experience ordering from Greentree's online. I ordered an item 10 days ago, I then checked the order status online a few days later and it showed completed so I waited for my item to arrive but as at yesterday it still hadn't so I rang them in the morning but was told the shop was very busy and that they would call me back. I waited an hour and called again to be told they were still busy but they would definitely call me back. I did not receive a call back yesterday but did have a missed call from them today with no message left followed by an email stating they'd refunded my order with no apology or explanation. I assume they'd sold me an item they did not have in stock to sell. The item was needed tomorrow but thankfully I had the foresight yesterday, after not receiving a call by the afternoon, to suspect all was not as it should be and ordered another item next day delivery which has arrived today (obviously from a different online seller). Needless to say I shall not be ordering from them again
Avoid - huge health and safety issues with caravan
I would urge anyone to avoid buying caravans from Greentrees. I am now proceeding with a legal claim as we had an alarming incident 3 months after purchasing the caravan.
Greentrees do a checklist (which is laughable) and insisted that our wheels were torqued to 130. On our second trip away in the caravan, the whole wheel flew off and got stuck under the caravan (thankfully or the whole caravan and car would have tipped). There is no way this could happen had the wheels been torqued correctly and resulted in a huge array of damage.
Along with other incorrect information on the checklist (spare tyre 13 years old - should have been changed at 7!), we are told verbally that the caravan was checked (nothing to back up the fact the caravan was checked more than once) and this failing is in fact our own fault (the tyre, I am also advised they don't need to replace as it is not a legal requirement - great if you do break down?!?).
Any mechanic will advise that the wheel could not fall off at such low mileage had the wheel been torqued correctly
Avoid for for your own safety and buy from a reputable company who can provide a PDI check which is accurate and countersigned by more than one person (most reputable companies offer video checks)

TERRIBLE COMPANY
Terrible company. I ordered a specific item which was essential for a holiday away. The item was in stock, my order had been confirmed, so I thought everything was all good and the item was due to be delivered the day before we go away.
After 3 days of them having my order and the day before we go, I received an email saying "refund". No explanation, no apology.
I emailed them back asking why they had waited for the day it’s actually supposed to be at my house, they just send me a standard refund email.
They left it right until the day of delivery, when they quite clearly knew a minimum of the day before, let alone the day I ordered it.
Discussing customer service.
Poor communication and poor stock taking measures
Bought a product in good faith only to receive an email a day later to advise that I’d been refunded. So the reason they deserve a negative review is because if the product is out of stock, then their stock taking measures are poor and secondly, they couldn’t be bothered to communicate this to me and simply refunded the order with absolutely no explanation.
