Amazing job! We had our floors and walls done while moving in - they look great! And not just this - the flat was kept clean throughout the process and the people working in the flat were super nice and friendly. After everything was done we simply wiped the floors and could move in. 100% recommended!

We got very quick response, and had one of the floor workers Sham come to inspect the floor condition.
We also had very helpful and clear communication with Mona during the planning. very glad for that.

GulvKBH treated the floors in our entire house in May 2023 and their associated renovations/painting team stripped the savsmuldstapet and re-made all our walls (gips/filt/paint) in May/June 2023. We were very impressed with the rapid and clear communication with both David in head office and the painting team. The quote was lower than competitors, but the quality of the finish was excellent. Any small issues and extra requests were addressed promptly. The project was slightly delayed due to an increase in the scope of works, but the team worked extra hard to get a huge job finished in just 3 weeks. We would not hesitate to recommend both the floor and renovations teams, and plan to use them again to renovate our bathroom in the future.

After reading some positive reviews on Trustpilot we decided to use GulvKBH (they are a subsidiary to Jacobsen Byg so take a look at their reviews as well they have been flagged by trust pilot for posting fake reviews!!!) to renovate the wooden floors in our new home. At the start the contact was fine and an agreement was made that the work would start on 2 Feb. They mentioned the work would take 3 to 5 days and to our surprise they were already done in 3 days. When we however went to the house to check the floors we noticed all floor panels and the walls of the staircases had been smeared with oil. Not a few splashes here and there but literally every single floor panel. However the workmen who had done the job mentioned this could be cleaned no problem. We had to wait 7 days however before using any water near the floors.
So when we tried to clean the floor panels afterwards it turned out the oil would not come off, the only solution is to sand and paint them again. I contacted David and told hime about the problem with the cleaning of the floor panels and to my dismay he immediately declined any responsibility for the damage and referred to the terms and conditions on their website mentioning that damages to walls and floor panels are explicitly excluded as this is unavoidable and part of the process.
I subsequently checked this with several other companies and without exclusion they all mentioned this to be false.
I explicitly mentioned (where the wooden floor is adjacent to a tile floor) that they needed to be careful not to damage the tiles while sanding, so here they used tape to prevent damage by sanding and by the oil. However the tape was not used to protect any of the floor panels. Had this been done (this would have added only a small percentage to the invoice) none of the damage to the floor panels and walls would have happened.
Upon confronting David with the above he mentioned damages to floor panels and walls are explicitly excluded in their terms and conditions. However upon reading their terms and conditions it is only stated under unforeseen damages that damage to floor panels may occur from the sanding and painting. However by not protecting the floor panels at all these are no longer unforeseen damages but damages that will occur no matter what… in our case every single floor panel was covered in oil ie not a little here and there as per their terms…. Which could have so easily been avoided with a little tape … only after a lot of pushing did David offer to take 1% off the bill, however this would not cover the cost of the painter needed to restore the damages. So we refused. Currently we are setting up a case against them with Byggeriets Ankenævn to get a ruling from them to force them to restore the floor panels or give sufficient compensation.
Finally it turned out they were much more expensive then other companies, check for instance Appe Aps. Unfortunately we found this out only after the fact but we could have saved 25% off the bill and would have had no damages to the walls and floor panels.
So if you decided to go with them anyways be warned and have them protect (tape) your walls and floor panels or you may end up with a case with Byggeriets Ankenævn as well. Will update once we have ruling from Byggeriets Ankenævn
Update 1 Sep 2022:
OK so after 6mnth we have a ruling from Byggeriets Ankenævn and GulvKBH needs to repair all the damages they made. When going into this process GulvKBH agreed to adhere to their ruling and guess what now they lost and have to either pay us DKK 16,000 or repair all the damages they decided not to accept the outcome of the syn og skøn process. So we will now take them to court and let the judge decide. However given the fact that we already won the syn og skøn case we are confident we will also win the court case. So I can only say NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. And if they agree to syn of skøn they will only accept the outcome if it is in their favour.

David and his team did a fabulous job and made my floor look like new again.

They did my floors and kitchen top. Really nice and helpful people. Job done with very short notice. I was initially not happy with the result but they were very quick at fixing the stuff I was not satisfied with.
Overall, I am very happy with the end result.

These boys are life and mental saver. We hired Davids-gulvafslibning first and they completely screwed up the colouring on our 2 years old sildebensparket. And we had 2 days left to move in, but David and Ronnie took the task right away and did a f* amazing job with white lak that we want. They also very good at communicating, which helped me relaxed a bit in my stressful situation.
We will recommend them anytime!
Thanks SO much!
