Absolute rubbish, only had this fridge for 20 months and the freezer stopped working and the fridge was warm. The exact same thing happened to my work fridge as well, 2 fridges down in the space of a couple of months. The work fridge was not old at all.
Just stocked up that morning and lost the lot. I was very upset, just to be ignored by customer service to top it off.
Their customer service (or lack of) was absolutely shocking, wanted me to wait 2.5 weeks for someone to look at it. How can we be without an essential whitegood for that long. Certainly cant afford takeout everyday in the mean time, while waiting.
Couldn’t get through to customer service on the phone and told to go on the website where the woman was incredibly rude, wouldn’t listen and said….this is taking too long, your time is up and hung up. Wasn’t interested in helping at all. I’ll never buy Haier again and won’t recommend to anyone.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Brand new dishwasher does not work and I cannot get anyone on the phone. Never buy Haier.

Broken Dishwashing Machine

At first I was hopeful as Haier customer service called me and appeared to want to assist in finding a remedy. Since then they have completely ignored me.

I have sent them 3 follow up emails after they offered to cover the parts, but not the call out or labour costs... Those costs would have easily exceeded the cost of a brand new dishwasher.

Very disappointed and ended up having to buy a brand new dishwasher as they failed to engage, now considering formal complaint to consumer affairs.

I bought the Haier HWF12DB1 12kg front load washer expecting full SmartHQ app functionality as heavily advertised on their website and retailer pages. The product is marketed as a "smart appliance" with remote control, cycle monitoring, and notifications via the app—features that were the main selling point. However, right after setup, the app only shows "Control & Monitoring soon available," and nothing works: no remote start, no monitoring, no alerts. It's essentially a dumb appliance with no smart capabilities at all.

Haier never disclosed that these "smart" features aren't available at launch for this model. Their support team was unhelpful—after multiple chats, they just said it's a "newer model" and to wait for a mid-December update with no guaranteed date or workaround. This is misleading advertising. It feels like false promises to push sales.

The support process was frustrating: generic responses, no escalation to supervisors, and zero accountability for the deception.
