Stayed in Airbnb by Hillyfields. It was immaculate, uncluttered, and in a good location. I would stay there again.
Extended my stay and it was totally worth it. The smart home features and quiet neighborhood made it a perfect two weeks. Highly recommend!
Lovely property on Airbnb. Great communication from start to finish. Beautiful house in a beautiful location.bedrooms were spacious and clutterfree. The downstairs was a great social space in whichever room, light and airy. The outdoor area allowed for relaxation and play for the children. Fab!!
Would avoid the Shoreditch property at all costs. Thick dust, half opened food, decorations left from assumingly previous guests, mouldy shower curtain and surroundings, random clothes in cupboards for guest storage and generally full of rubbish, unsecured terrace door and furniture unuseable. Not even a fire alarm attached to the ceiling.
Updated review: this is neither invalid or duplicated. As a guest that has stayed at the property, the experiences are true and reflective. We have photo evidenced of the uncleanliness and general condition of the property, along with the disconnected fire alarm. A replacement shower curtain was posted more than 24 hours after arrival with the expectation of the guests to remove the mouldy one that was in situ. Yet you have described this as thoroughly cleaned? Communication was limited only to the issues that affected the stay and wholly reasonable as paying guests.
During the limited communication, the poor condition of the property was identified and a £50 cleaning refund was offered. However, since departure, you have failed to respond to any communication and the refund has not been received.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was quiet, peaceful, and private. The host was welcoming, helpful, and always responded quickly whenever we needed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
I can only comment on my own experience as a property owner and unfortunately it has been extremely disappointing.
The issue was never simply about who was responsible for maintenance. The main problem throughout was communication, repeated delays in responding to urgent matters, and a failure to provide direct answers to straightforward questions.
For example, when an unexpected heating issue arose immediately before guest arrival, I arranged and paid for an emergency engineer myself, including a Sunday call-out. The only thing I requested was guidance on procedures if guests arrived before the plumber or if the plumber was still at the property when guests arrived. This question was raised repeatedly and never answered.
I also repeatedly requested a simple boiler pressure reading required by the plumber to determine the next steps. Delays in obtaining this information prevented me from progressing the repair as quickly as I otherwise could have.
Prior to signing up, specific arrangements were discussed regarding communication with contractors and access to the property. I relied on those assurances when deciding to proceed. Unfortunately, when issues later arose, the practical position often appeared different from what had originally been discussed.
Another concern was the end-of-contract process. It took multiple emails before I received written confirmation that the property would continue to be marketed until the agreed end date so that potential booking opportunities would not be lost. Despite those assurances, I subsequently discovered the calendars appeared blocked from 21 June onwards and had to raise this issue separately. I retain both the written correspondence and screenshots relating to this matter.
What I found particularly frustrating was that many of the operational concerns I raised remained unanswered despite repeated requests. At the same time, a significant amount of correspondence focused on requests for me to remove or reconsider my review rather than addressing the underlying issues that had led to the review being written in the first place.
There were also a number of onboarding and management issues which required repeated follow-up, including inaccuracies within the property listing, omission of information I had specifically provided to improve the advert, and operational matters that should not have required ongoing chasing.
The property itself has received excellent guest reviews and I am pleased that guests enjoyed their stays. However, those reviews relate to the property, location and facilities rather than the quality of the management service provided to the owner. For example, guests regularly praised the cleanliness, space, parking, location and amenities of the house.
Before engaging the company, I had seen reviews from other owners expressing concerns about communication and the process at the end of management agreements. I chose to proceed and make my own assessment. Unfortunately, some aspects of my experience were similar.
I genuinely tried to resolve matters privately and gave multiple opportunities for concerns to be addressed before posting this review. Unfortunately, the same issues continued throughout the relationship.
Prospective property owners should ensure they obtain absolute clarity in writing regarding exactly what services will and will not be provided, expected response times, contractor coordination responsibilities, access arrangements, communication procedures and the exact process for the release and removal of listings at the end of the agreement.

Veronica's place was perfect for our two night stay; there were nine of us and we were attending a wedding locally. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The location was very central, within easy walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants, but it was also peaceful and in a pituresque setting. The outside area was a bonus, as the weather was warm enough to sit out. Parking, although not on site, was close by and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and the two bathrooms were useful. We would definitely return.
Very clean and comfortable! We loved being so close to a grocery store as well as within a 10 minute drive of downtown. Perfect for anyone wanting to take day trips up to the highlands.
We stayed at Veronica's Newbury News two-bed apartment in Chalk Farm for two nights and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Very nice apartment - clean and well thought out. Veronica was also very good at being contactable, both in the run-up to the stay and during. Highly recommended!
Veronica was a fantastic host with great communication, nothing was too little of a problem she was always there to help with quick response time.
The property was even more beautiful than described & was perfectly located with amazing views.
1000% would recommend Veronica to anyone!
We stayed in an apartment managed by this company in Shoreditch, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing from a management perspective by HelloGuest.
While the location of the property was the only positive, the condition of the apartment was far below what was advertised. On arrival, it was clear the property had not been properly prepared for guests. Cleanliness was a significant issue throughout, including an unusable bathroom with a heavily soiled shower curtain, dust-covered kitchen appliances, hairs in the bed, and a generally unclean and poorly maintained environment. The terrace was also dirty, and there were personal belongings and open food items left in the fridge and cupboards, which made the apartment feel cluttered and unprofessional. Additional issues included a broken TV , broken glass picture frames and no lock on the bathroom door.
We reported these concerns during our stay and followed up via multiple emails. Despite this, HelloGuest were unhelpful and did not take our concerns seriously. Communication was poor, and we did not feel our issues were acknowledged or addressed in any meaningful way, even though they actively requested feedback on our experience.
Overall, the standard of both the property and the response from HelloGuest was unacceptable. Based on our experience, we would not recommend booking a property managed by this company, as there appears to be a lack of attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest support.

Great communication and an excellently appointed holiday home, just what we needed and would thoroughly recommend.
All information was very clear and the touch points where appreciated
We stayed at Veronica’s balcony flat in Chinatown, London and honestly had a really good time. The location is kind of unbeatable. You’re right in the middle of everything with endless food, shops, and super easy transport. There’s a pastry shop right next door that became my daily coffee stop, which felt like a small win every morning.
The flat itself was clean, really comfortable, and actually pretty spacious, which I wasn’t expecting for the area. It’s nicely put together and just felt easy to settle into.
The balcony was a nice bonus and the view was really cool, especially being right in the middle of such a busy part of the city.
Veronica was great. Super responsive, helpful, and made everything simple from start to finish.
I’d definitely stay here again. It’s perfect if you want to be in the middle of the action but still have a comfortable place to come back to.

We had an amazing weekend away at Veronica’s property in Nottingham. The house was really spacious and super clean, with all the amenities you need for the perfect weekend away. Thank you so much for hosting our stay!
We had a fantastic stay at Veronica's property, exceptionally clean, great location great facilities would definitely recommend if your looking to stay in that area
Staying at Veronica's airbnb in Surrey was like a home away from home. Everything provided was nice, it was convenient! Located only 20 minutes or so from a a large mall, was only a 5 minute walk to the train station, only only about an hour or so from central. All in all the stay was lovely, me and my girlfriend had a blast staying there and hope to do so again!
Low Catton Walled Garden Stay
We had a lovely stay at the cottage, on arrival it was very clean, well equipped and dog friendly. The accommodation was as advertised and very welcoming.
The grounds and where the cottage is situated is beautiful, immaculate and everyone is very friendly. There are plenty of walks just a few minutes away from the accommodation which are ideal dog walks. We have two spaniels who were extremely safe/secure in the garden and enjoyed running around the grounds. All amenities were easy/accessible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend and have already booked again
We really enjoyed staying at Veronica's property in Surrey. It was great value, very stylish and comfortable, very secure, wity off road secure parking. The kitchen had everything you could need and the beds were very comfy. Ideal for resting after busy days at nearby Thorpe Park!
We had a lovely few days at Veronica's place in Tring. So convenient to all the shops and restaurants, such a beautiful little village. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, parking out the back was very handy too. Would strongly recommend.
We stayed here for two nights during the marathon weekend in Brighton and overall had a good experience.
The location is excellent — just a short five-minute walk to the beach and close to plenty of amenities, which made it really convenient for our stay.
We did encounter a small issue at check-in, but the host responded quickly and dealt with it promptly, which we really appreciated.
Once resolved, the rest of our stay was comfortable and as expected.
Thank you for a pleasant stay — we would happily stay here again if we return to Brighton.
