I just received a nasty email from Hodinkee about non-payment of my yearly premium. Did I get a bill? No. Did I get an invoice? No. Did I get a reminder? No. What I did get is a NASTY email saying I'm being turned over to collections and that "this will impact my chances of getting insurance in the future." I log on to make payment and get all caught up. Nope. I'm locked out. Completely. Can't make a payment. Oh, when was it "due"? 2 days ago. So, No nothing from Hodinkee except a nasty email after the fact. WOW. There is a reason (CLEARLY) why their reviews are all so bad - Good bye to Hodinkee.

Never received my item within 1 month, written 3 email at 3 different contacts, never have received any replay (or even a reading confirmation) from them. Really an horrible customer care

Bad customer experience

They have zero customer service. Hodinkee submitted incorrect amount for watch. Very much higher than what I paid. Now I am being asked to pay the wrong duties. No response from their customer service. Multiple follow up emails, zero reply. NEVER buy from Hodinkee.
Shockingly Disappointing for an organistion and Ben Clymer. They were suppose to make our hobby fun.

I bought a Zodiac watch there, they sold me a watch they didn't had in their stock, they kept my money for more than a week with no news at all about what was happening, nothing was shipped and when they refunded me the money I lost 5% of the amount because of different €/$ exchange rate. They knew they will not send any watch they could have instantly cancelled my transaction so I don't lose any money but they didn't. They are scammers taking liquidity and don't give a **** about customers. At the moment I contacted my lawyer to see if there is any way to sue them for the money lost and the prejudice of never receiving my grail watch.

Absolutely clueless and severely lacks integrity. Avoid at all costs. The website and articles are indeed rather rubbish too.

Hodinkee has previously released some limited runs of custom G-Shock watches that are now quite highly sought after

However, when they billed the Ed Sheran Subtract G-Shock as a 'Limited Edition', this was a BLATANT LIE, six months later they are still churning them out by the thousands and they have dumped so many of them that they can be bought new for less than cost on eBay

Also, shame on Ed Sheran and John Mayer for willingly participating in this SCAM

A shocking company! Watch their reviews but DO NOT buy a watch from them. They completely avoid and ignore any attempts to contact them. There is no customer service at all and as far as I can see they do not honour anything. I have tried for ages to contact them by every available means and had nothing back! As I said, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Have been emailing them for a month to adjust my insurance policy with zero response. The worst customer service. Couldn’t imagine if I had to file a claim, I’d be screwed.

Watch was packaged great. Amazing condition. Shipped and arrived quickly. Highly recommend

I bought a Seiko from Hodinkee that has had accuracy issues from the beginning. I couldn't file a warranty claim with Seiko because Hodinkee did not fill out my warranty card. Hodinkee Support told me to take it to a local watchmaker to have it regulated and checked for magnetism, which did not improve the accuracy. So they offered to look at it under their warranty, only to deny any warranty service once receiving the watch because it was looked at by a non-Seiko authorized dealer. Yet they never told me I had to use a Seiko dealer, they just specified a local watch maker. So now I am stuck with a $750 watch that can't keep time.

Bought a Zenith Pilots watch in Feb 2023. Watch arrived without issues. Ran well for 8 months but I then noticed a problem with the second hand. Inquired about the warranty and they sent me a shipping label to send the watch back to Atlanta for repairs. I eventually received confirmation that my watch arrived and that the necessary repairs had been performed. I was told that the watch would be mailed back by early January. Still have not received watch back. All my recent emails go unanswered. No number to call.

Disgusting business. Returned a watch and they confirmed they got it back on 12/13/2023. It is now 1/10/24 and still no refund. no phone number to reach anyone and not answering email. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Satisfied with the experience, yet the shipping firm is complete disaster.

Ordered a watch early in the day on October 9th and paid extra $40 for 2-day shipping.

Received email on October 10th with a FedEx Tracking number. FedEx did not yet receive the order, just a pre-purchased tracking number. Evening of October 10th, carrier still not received package.

October 11th, FedEx still not received package. Contacted Hodinkee via direct email as they have disabled the "Contact Us" form on their website.
No responses, no replied. Evening of October 11th, carrier STILL not received package.

October 12th, FedEx STILL has not received package as of 2pm EST.

Hodinkee Contact Form on website, STILL disabled.

Tomorrow will contact Visa and initiate chargeback.

Do NOT buy anything from Hodinkee Shop. They are lazy, incompetent amateurs at best.

Now that you own Crown and Caliber it appears you have polluted their culture as well.

Folks, let this be a fair warning.

Thieves … Bought a 180.00 watch band. They give you 7 days to return - paid 23.00 to FedEx. Back in 4 days - that was June 23 . I have complained to PayPal. Their phone is ALWAYS busy!

As a small business owner I know how important customer service and on line reputation is . However I think hodinkee has raised a bunch of money from investors and sitting on pile of cash and doesn’t give a rats ass about their customers.

I have placed an order with Hodinkee Shop on June 10th and have yet to receive it. They have charged my credit card. I have sent over 15 emails to their support group and no one responds.

This is definitely the last time I do business with them.
