Bought the deal for compression socks, buy 3, get 3.
at the outset I found them comfortable and not too hot, relatively easy to put on. But was disappointed within 4-5 months. I interchangeably wore 5 of 6 pairs about 6 days/week. Washed and air dried as directed, however they all wore through at the ball of the foot with large holes, and despite proper care, they shrunk some and became somewhat more difficult to put on.
for the price paid, even with the promotion, I expected them to last longer, considering as mentioned that they were worn interchangeably. I personally will not consider reordering unless the company at least comes up with a reinforced heal.

Hollowsocks Boot Socks
I do a lot of walking and hiking so I purchased Hollow Socks boot socks to try them out. I’ve had them for about 6 weeks. I have wore the same pair about a third of that time. At about 14 days (at ~7.2 miles a day which is ~100) and washing them as instructed.
Socks Plus side -
I find them comfortable - soft to wear, cushions shoe/boots well, and toe seam doesn’t rub
Socks feel like a medium weight boot sock
They do to a degree make my feet feel dry
They are not really cool (but I live in Hawaii)
Minus side -
Washing as instructed and air drying is really difficult and time consuming with the socks taking overnight or longer to dry.
They have become extremely hairy with washings.
They have shrunk with some of the washings and the socks have become somewhat smaller, but still seem to stretch ok
I wear shorts and above shoes or boots the socks catch every sticker, dried grass, and piece of leaf and twig debris (they also catch Velcro occasionally which pulls fibers out when pulled apart) and this is a mess to constantly pick out after every walk.
The bottom of the heel on each sock is already wearing thin.
So far I’m not really impressed with these socks being good boot or hiking socks. I’m disappointed that they are already wearing thin at the heels and have shrunk using your washing instructions. I can’t recommend these socks to others.
They are probably good as dress socks.
Note: over the years I have purchased lots of good wool sock blends at about the same price and I usually get a good couple years out of them and sometimes more.

A truly outstanding product.
I will NEVER purchase another pair of socks other than Hollow for the rest of my life!
Only reason this is not 5-star is there is no one to communicate with to solve administrative issues.

These socks….are game changers for snowboarding. Seriously. Buy 17 pairs and thank me later.

First, the compression socks are comfortable. I'm wearing them inside my work boots and my feet don't sweat. On the downside, the fulfillment of what Hollow advertised is bait and switch. They offered "Buy two pair, get two pair free. Plus a mystery gift." Well, I paid for two pair and got only the two pair. Never received any explanation for the advertisement not being fulfilled. The mystery gift was a pair of crew socks of the same material. I'm sure that the crew socks would be comfortable, but I need compression in my legs. That being said, when you average out the product and customer service ratings it comes to two stars. I'm going to look elsewhere for compression socks.

Be aware that once an order is placed, the company will NOT exchange a pillow without a further purchase. They would sell the returned item anyway, so I felt this was a particularly rotten policy. Once in your pocket...that was the only goal. Reviews should allow negative stars as well. This one will be filtered out by an IT person anyhow.

I would give a $100 a pair for darn tough sock before I gave a $1 for these. Was recommended by a friend so I thought id give them a try. Ordered 6 pairs opened one and immediately knew that these are extremely overpriced, poorly constructed socks. Don't waste your money. They also charged me $8 to ship these inferior socks back to them. I washed a pair in cold water and air dried them. They smell like a wet dog when wet. If you're on the fence and trying to decide, I would stay away from these.

The best sock I have ever purchased, they live up to all of their claims.

I ordered the "bundle" which showed 1 pair of compression socks and a pair of ankle socks in the picture. There was no choice for 2 pairs of compression socks or 2 pairs of ankle socks, and the picture shows one of each, so to me that indicates the "bundle." I received my order quickly, and there were 4 pairs of compression socks and no ankle socks. I contacted customer service, and they informed me the bundle did not include ankle socks (huh?). They said I could return 2 pairs of socks and get the ankle socks, but I would be charged $7.99 for return "per their policy." I asked them why they included a pair of ankle socks in the bundle picture if they weren't in the bundle, and you can't even order the ankle socks from that page. It makes no sense and is misleading. I kept getting their canned response, "That is our policy." I asked whether it was really worth losing a customer for $7.99 and got the same canned response about their refund policy. I decided to return all socks for a full refund, as I prefer to do business with companies that have better customer relations. Policy is a guideline, and if you can't think with it and are robotic, then you will inevitably have unhappy customers. If it had been clear what I was ordering and I just changed my mind, I would have happily paid the return shipping. My advice is to change the picture on the "bundle" to just compression socks so it is not misleading.

I bought 2 prs and got 2 prs free. Also got a pair of free footlets. After spending about $100 for 5 prs of socks, so about $20 each, then immediately after processing that and spending $100 they offered another pair for $24. So about $124 for 6 pr. I tried the extra $24 pair, they didn't work well for me so I wanted to return the 5 pairs of new socks. I did exactly what they said and paid about $8 extra for the return through FEDEX. I waited one week and tried to track shipping which took me back to my original order with NO TRACKING AT ALL. So I emailed them and learned that if you want them to pay attention YOU MUST THREATEN TO REVERSE CHARGES THROUGH YOUR CREDIT CARD BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T THEY'LL NEVER DO ANYTHING. They pretended that I kept one pair out of the first order and were only going to refund about $75. So with all their "free" stuff and multiple orders, they can get you confused and if I'd have given up I would have gotten one pair for 57$ when it all shook down. $100 first order $24 second order $8 return shipping. I told them they are going to refund the whole $100 because the pair I kept were on a separate charge of $24 and could show that on my credit card. They act like they didn't understand. So if you just buy the 4 pr for $100, try one pair on which then can't be returned, then they can charge you $50 for that pr. and you have to pay return shipping, which is maybe their real goal--once you order they are going to get a pile of money with all their confusing tactics. Refunds only given after multiple threats to reverse charges and about 10 email exchanges. Not worth the stress. Also, take pics of your return and FEDEX label b/c they didn't give me a receipt for the package. DON'T BUY HERE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

These socks although advertised to go on easily are just as hard to put on as any of the support socks I have worn over last fifteen years!! They also are too long, I am 5’11” and they come halfway across my knees which means I have to fold em down, which then cord my legs!! Not wide enough at toes either, squishes my toes together.. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!! Don’t recommend from my experience!!

I ordered from the website with the buy one get one free option. However when you are on the website and you are in the cart section with the correct size if you back out to look at something else then go back in it reverts back to the default size which is medium. I did not notice this until after it was shipped. I went on to their site to do the exchange. No problem. Their customer service wanted to issue me a credit instead of exchanging the product. I told them to send the product with the correct size (XL). It's going on three weeks and I have not heard from them. I emailed them three times through there email address. They want me to put an order in so they can charge me again. I guess they don't know what an exchange is. They may have 3 million sold but after this I may not come back. They want the business but they are not in business of keeping customers happy. I just went online to the site to put my credited order in there is no mention of credit. They give a small discount but no area to credit another order. They should send me a full refund

I purchased 4 pairs of hollow compression socks late last year, and love them. I have endemea so my legs swell, when I'm not wearing compression socks. I purchased four more pair in May of this year. One of the four pairs of socks had a small hole in it. I took a picture a sent it to hollow were I purchased them from. They apologized and told me to send them back for $7.92 which I wanted to talk to them about so I tried to contact Hollow, but had no success. So I had emailed them asking to call me, which they stated they would be contacting me. No one ever called me, and they closed my case because no response. Pay to return a defective product for a replacement, not acknowledging my replacement request. This is a horrible business practice, even though I love the product I refuse to do business with people who only care about money, and refuse to take care a problems when they arise in a professional manner. Pay to return a defective product, not offering replacement, not making calls that are promised. They lost my business.

I love my Hollow compression socks. They are soft and comfortable but not itchy. I now have a drawer full that should last me for a while. I wish they made other colors like white or navy blue to match my other shoes and pants.

I think it’s the Alpaca wool that makes the difference. My feet and legs do not get hot and sweaty and are comfortable all day at work. I wash the by machine, inside a laundry bag and hang them on a hanger to dry.

I purchased hollow socks, but they came in the wrong model and color. I tried to return/ exchange them and customer service basically tried to wear me down with many many emails and questions I already answered. You recall, “No questions asked. 99 days to return”.
My last correspondence said, I will contact my credit card company and start a dispute as they refuse to now, return my money minus a small return shipping charge of about $7.95.
I am waiting for their, hopefully, final response with a return label.
I will keep you informed. At this time, I do not recommend doing any business with them.
