I have been a Hostgator customer for… 12

I have been a Hostgator customer for over 10 years. They have consistently provided me with excellent technical support whenever I've needed it. As a U.S. resident, I appreciate that help is always available. Compare this to the "overseas" hosting companies that respond to you via email in a day or two, and to me, Hostgator is worth its extra cost.

Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare. After 21 years of paying for a service that I barely use 10% of the service, they decided to implement a new payment that is against the contract we have, but they don't give a $hit. Avoid at any cost
