The simplicity of running a website through Hostinger is barnone. I've worked with other sites and it's more automation, less control. Hostinger allows for simple management and allows full control of the site. I highly recommend Hostinger as a Host over any other.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Hostinger has been extremely disappointing and financially damaging for my business.
I currently operate more than six e-commerce websites and two corporate websites. One of my main e-commerce platforms — which has been operating legitimately since 2022 and handles a high volume of sales — was suddenly suspended without prior notice under allegations related to “fraud/scam,” “phishing,” or “fake site.”
This interruption caused severe damage to my operations and resulted in significant financial losses due to interrupted sales, customer impact, and downtime.
What disappointed me the most was not only the suspension itself, but the complete lack of transparency, professionalism, and consideration in the way the situation was handled.
Hostinger informed me that the website had been reported by a company. However:
* I was not given prior notice before the suspension.
* I was not given a fair opportunity to clarify the situation beforehand.
* I politely requested screenshots or evidence of the report because the same company that supposedly submitted the complaint asked me to provide proof from my hosting provider.
* Hostinger refused to provide any evidence, screenshots, or meaningful details regarding the accusation.
As a legitimate business owner, being categorized under labels such as “fraud,” “scam,” “phishing,” or “fake site” without transparency or proper investigation is extremely damaging and unprofessional.
I fully understand that hosting providers must comply with abuse reports and security procedures. However, there should also be a reasonable process that allows established businesses to respond, clarify misunderstandings, or provide documentation before drastic actions such as full suspension are taken.
A sudden suspension of a company’s primary sales platform without proper communication can seriously impact:
* revenue,
* reputation,
* customer trust,
* and business continuity.
In addition to the financial losses caused by the downtime, Hostinger also had control over my production database infrastructure, including inventory and critical operational data. What made the situation even more concerning was that they refused to provide me with access to my database backups and website files after the suspension. This created a serious risk to my business continuity and significantly increased the stress and impact of the situation, especially given the lack of transparency and communication throughout the process.
What makes this situation even more difficult to understand is that I contracted a Cloud Enterprise hosting service for 5 years with a value of €2,399.52, in addition to Premium Business Email services for another 5 years costing €191.52, both active until May 2029.
Considering the scale and long-term nature of these contracts, I consider it extremely disrespectful and unreasonable to suspend my services without prior notice, without requesting clarification, and without providing any meaningful evidence, while simultaneously labeling my business as related to “phishing,” “fraud,” “scam,” or “fake site” activities.
Realistically, what serious customer would commit to long-term enterprise services for 5 years, investing thousands of euros in infrastructure and business email services, with the intention of operating fraudulent or phishing activities?
Unfortunately, my experience with Hostinger’s customer support during this issue felt arrogant, dismissive, and lacking genuine willingness to help resolve the matter professionally.
Because of this experience, I have decided to move my infrastructure to another provider.
I sincerely hope Hostinger improves its communication, transparency, and handling of abuse complaints in the future, especially when dealing with legitimate long-term businesses.

I used Hostinger's AI site development tool Horizons, which was great, but ran into a DNS problem between my DNS provider and Hostinger. Fortunately, Anin with Hostinger live chat support suggested a CNAME change for @ and www that fixed the issue immediatley, and now I am live.
