REPLY: That’s a lot of words and yet still no sign of a simple, sincere apology. Hopefully potential customers are bright enough to see how passive aggressive you are, and quite frankly, you seem like really horrid people. It’s a shame you didn’t take this opportunity to correct the appalling attitude shown towards potential customers whether you want their business or not. You had, and have, no idea about my budget other than yes, it’s a top consideration as it would be for any startup. I have worked with 8 figure marketing budgets and obtaining proposals is an entirely standard part of the enquiry process. I have never come across this type of response or attitude at any point in my career, anywhere around the world. Regardless, even with the largest budget in the world, the way you are choosing to communicate and conduct yourselves raises all sorts of red flags and I’m grateful that you have all shown your true colours from the outset.
ORIGINAL: Sent a detailed enquiry asking for information and an idea of rates for a marketing campaign for a new business in a top professional sector and this is the response I got: 'Hi there, Many thanks for your enquiry. Unfortunately we don't take part in pricing exercises, so will respectfully decline. We wish you the best in your search, and once you're further down the line and are able to move your focus beyond price, we would be pleased to discuss further.' Best of luck to anyone choosing to deal with these types of people.
