ZERO STARS – Avoid. Terrible Customer Service and Impossible to Register
The positive reviews must either be fake or referring to a completely different experience.
I purchased the **Kiln A1 air vest** through SportsBikeShop. When it arrived, it didn't include the In&motion control unit, so I went to the In&motion website to register the product and subscribe for the unit.
Unfortunately, because the company is based in France, the subscription process repeatedly failed when I tried to pay using my UK bank card. It just displayed an error every time. After searching online, I discovered this is a common issue experienced by many customers.
I emailed In&motion customer support and immediately received an automated response saying they would "look at" my email within five days. Five days came and went with no reply.
In the meantime, SportsBikeShop tried to contact In&motion on my behalf. Even they couldn't get a response.
It's now been 'seven days', and In&motion still haven't even acknowledged my email.
This raises a serious concern. If they can't respond to a customer who's simply trying to activate their airbag system, how much confidence should anyone have that they'll provide timely support after an accident?
The product may be good, but customer support is non-existent. If you have any issue at all, don't expect help.
I've requested a full refund and will be returning the vest.
**You've been warned.**
Luckily, I’ve never had to depend on the system to work so I can’t comment on that part of the product, but To cancel the subscription is a joke they require the Unit back and with all boxes where mine never came with the box. It was in a net bag within the suit and it’s cost £24 to send the item back.
I crashed during a race and broke 6 ribs, a grade 3 ACJ separation, an SCJ separation. The airbag inflated too late to do anything other than cause further pain.
I moved to another suit manufacturer as I felt the product wasn't up to the job.
I'm now being hounded by debt collectors for a product I haven't used for over a year.

Been using in and motion for 5 years or more. Equipment is good and I use it in race suits, adventure bike jackets and the team are always there to support and resolve any issues I have had quickly and to a good result.

I had to replace my race suit after a crash and had problems linking them together system wise. One quick call and all was fixed. Customer service was 100% what can i say....

Safety as a service should be illegal. Switching banks for example and missing a payment shouldn't cost you your life. Any safety system that is redundant due to a subscription is unethical. You buy a safety jacket thinking you're preparing for the worst to then be beholden to paying monthly to have your airbag go off in the event of a crash. Terrible practice
Edit in response to reply- someone's life depends on it. No business is a charity but subscriptions are for music not for life or death

EVERYONE Be warned, this company is a scam, having sold the item and never signed up for renewal of £120 per annum, they continue to take, read below what your getting into by the joke of a company.
Thank you for your clarification.
Please allow me to remind you that you hold an annual membership, which does not permit you to sell the In&box.
In this context, I kindly request that you select one of the following two options to terminate your membership:
Retrieve the In&box and return it to us,
Or pay a security deposit of 100£GB.
I look forward to your response.

The In&box that came with my new airbag jacket had an issue which I reported to customer service. They solved the problem immediately by sending a replacement unit. Within a few days I was back on the bike with the new airbag jacket. Good to know that In&motion has an excellent customer service!

Had issues with my V5 In & Motion box. Comms were very prompt, concise and easy to follow. When issues carried on intermittently, a replacement V6 box was sent out (4 day delivery to UK) complete with pre paid DHL shipping label. I felt fully supported throughout and customer service was spot on.

Seems a great product, had for over a year now, not had need to use the airbag yet but it's nice to know it's there, the app is great too 👍

Had an issues with the control unit (red leds blinking), contacted by mail and was adviced to call. Cutomer service took me through step by step update of app on my iphone and update of software on control unit. Top service.

In&Motion can remotely deactivate a safety airbag without adequate notice, which in my view puts riders’ lives at risk. A safety device should never be handled this way.
I submitted an official request through their website over three months ago, asking how to cancel the subscription and remove my credit card details. I received no response at all. Instead of replying or providing support, they later sent a letter involving a debt collection process.
There is a complete lack of transparency, customer support, and respect for basic consumer rights. When a company deals with life-critical safety equipment, this behaviour is unacceptable.
Riders should be extremely cautious.

Please to be a little safer I hope.
Only the app could be better and I think it needs updating
