Amazingly bad

...no, really, amazing... It's really worth a page in history books as the worst possible service that made it into a premium package (I got this as part of my 'world elite card'... not even a free offering or a gift...). I suppose this is a huge win for the marketing team?

EDIT: Up to 2 stars for the nice support treatment on the phone... however: no hotspots actually working; which means the service is not being provided; I'm still left wondering if this is even legal

I have had Ipass now for several years

I have had Ipass now for several years. Every single time I log into my account using app for Android is says invalid username or password. I have to choose the forgot password every time I add funds. It is such a pain. I hate this app!

Nice idea, but doesn't work for me after six months of trying around the world.

This is what iPass say about their service:
===============
The World’s Largest Global Wi-Fi Network
With more than 64 million hotspots in more than 160 countries and territories, and inflight Wi-Fi on more than 20 leading airlines, iPass delivers simple, secure, unlimited Wi-Fi access for people, devices and things. We’ve built our global network from partnerships with more than 160 of the world’s best networks, and iPass SmartConnect helps us grow faster and smarter, by identifying and curating open hotspots.
===============
In practice I have found that I have not been able to use the iPass service at all in Turkey, Japan, Australia, Austria and the UK. I have been unable to find a WiFi connection and log in on more than a handful of occasions in around six months.

I am using the free Google 'Datally' app on my phone which both controls my 3G data usage and suggests local free WiFi hotspots with clear directions on Google Maps. Datally (free) works better than iPass for me.
