Modern Ivecos are a joke.

Used the 3.0l Daily for one day and it broke. In fact on the drive back to base from collecting the van from the dealership it misbehaved. It kept trying to fling me into the hedge The incompetent lane hold system seeing ghost lines I guess. It also applied emergency braking for no reason. Then cherry on the cake when I had to hit the brakes hard to avoid an incident caused by some one on the other side of the road, the brakes did nothing. There was virtually no reduction in speed at all.
So yesterday, went to the van to use it and it was dead. Battery completely flat. Tried using a jump pack but all that happened was the jump pack was drained too and still no life in the van apart from a flashing hazard warning indicator light but no indicators actually flashing.
Iveco is truly a make to avoid. I have had to cope with 4 different Iveco models over the last 5 years and every single one of them has been rubbish to the point of being dangerous.
As for the connectivity, Iveco On etc., that is equally useless and also like the vehicle does not work.

Iveco Dandenong has been a joke!

Iveco Dandenong has been a joke!
Have taken my daily Iveco there 8 times in the past 6 months to fix a number of things such as
>Radio not working
>Hand brake staying on
> one of the oil fitters as its leaking in to the intercooler
and they still cant get it right.
The latest one is the gear box is over heating.

Took it there and they couldn't find fault and charge me $627 plus GST for time spent.
Received the truck back Monday and surprise surprise the gear box warning light came on again the next day.

I'm not sure what to do, disgraceful customer service and nothing is covered under warranty as per Iveco guide lines.
Anyone who is looking to purchase any of the Iveco range, I would look else where!
I have sent a email to channel 9(a current affair) for someone to here my story as they cant keep continuing to bleed clients of there hard earn money.
Thanks for reading

Iveco junk

Iveco junk . Even the radio is junk , drops out of signal regularly so don’t rely on any music , constant faults from new , night heater packed up after a week. Push button start works when it feels like it . All the panels around truck are out of alignment. Unit is Very low down , fleet of 19 ivecos and everyone has damage to nearside step . Just a cheap truck employer’s get for you and think they’ve given you the earth because they’re new. MAN ‘s were better and that’s saying something.

Regretted the purchase from day one

We had a brand new Iveco Daily for four months and it’s spent two months in the workshop, and I don’t know when I’m getting it back, this is a brand-new vehicle and no one is interested in helping. Do not buy one of these van’s.

Iveco Unable to Provide Services

Iveco truck broken down and recivered on the contract - told will not even look at vehicle fo over a week - 2 weeks later not looked at and advised they are short staffed and have no idea when they will look at the vehicle - no calls from them ever. This is the same ever time a vehicle goes in to any of the Iveco dealerships in south west of UK

Hands down worst truck I’ve ever driven…

Hands down worst truck I’ve ever driven in 24 years of driving HGV’s. Why people buy these heaps of rubbish is beyond me. Even the cup holder is in the wrong place and can’t hold a cup properly because of it. You couldn’t build a worst truck if you tried

Iveco is still crapp

Iveco is still crapp, 12mths old Daily 50c twin cab with electronic issues from day 1 Computer system shuts down and lights up an array of errors, alarm horn goes off fir some reason then stops after 10 minutes, Air bag, Cruise control, TPS monitioring, infotainment shuts down totally then re-sets. 4 dealers up and down coast unable to resolve as these issues are intermittent, Iveco arrange for a Vic dealer to diagnose and try to find issues and failed once more, then charge me $$$$ hundreds for the time they spent looking for the problems. Really Iveco your a pack of thieves. Do not buy an Iveco. UPDATE, UPDATE. Just keeps getting worse, more errors, infotainment shuts down more frequently after Adtrans Laverton did a software update. Returned to Adtrans this morning to do another system check, I asked to view the diagnostic process but was refused entry into workshop as a OHS precaution. I asked for it to be carried out outside but they refused to do so. Mmmm is it not just a plug and play process? Does it need power supply? Can you not run a supply cable to the exterior boundaries of the workshop so i dont break any OHS requirements? All to hard for them to appease a very angry and frustrated consumer. Seems this is how the Iveco structure works, tell as little as you can and keep them guessing it seems. I walked out, had enough. 8 attempts by 4 different dealers and 12 visits in 12 Months failed to resolve the issue. IVECO SUCKS. Time to follow legal processes.

Like others have said

Like others have said. Save yourself grief, stress and financial loss. Do not buy an Iveco. Shocking build quality. So many faults. So much downtime. Iveco replaced a colleagues van after 100k miles and 18 months of grief and breakdowns.. but the replacement van was even worse. Even Iveco assist will charge you €1400 to come out even while under warranty!
