I have stopped on line grocery shopping due to constant glitches and frozen screens and errors . Been like this for years and now I have finally totally given up.
Sainsburys you need to invest in some better tech. it is getting worse.
Corporate website is a disgrace and they simply don't care
sadly you don't have negative stars.
The Sainsburys website is a disgrace - the corporate number appears incorrect, there is an appalling howler on pricing - the press & media office are rude, ignorant and hopeless Sloanes. But they are worth every penny they get paid by competitors!!!! Aldi etc - good investment lol
Avoid Uxbridge Sainsburys!
Avoid Uxbridge Sainsburys!
Horrible store, horrible management and the security guard is on a power trip, he needs to be sacked and replaced! He targets vulnerable shoppers for bag checks, they are not random!
Fresh produce is not fresh, goes off before you even get it home. The price hikes are not justified.
I feel sorry for the general staff but the management and customer experience manager are particularly bad. Clearly very unhappy people overall. I no longer shop there Tesco all the way!
"Taste the Difference" is meaningless. For example, I've just brought some of their Leanri mandarins home and they're nothing special at all.
"Taste the Difference" is meaningless. The mouthfeel and mouth-chew is rather like oranges which have been left lying around for a little bit too long, where they're starting to dry up. And the taste is mediocre. Sweetness, nothing special. The only positive thing is that they are very easy to peel, but that's not a taste feature - it's a symptom of moisture loss.
PS. They make a big deal about matching Aldi prices. But this only applies to a small fraction of their goods. Actually the real competition is our wonderful new Lidl just down the road.

. I bought “Miso Salmon”@ £4.75 which was a tray of grains with some greens and one piece of salmon - the size of a small walnut. It was a small serving for one.Sainsbury replied with some convoluted waffle about advising the appropriate department. Obviously I avoid Sainsbury now.

First time using sainsbury click and collect grantham. It comes from lincoln. Not grantham. No contact with driver but you turn up in your slot and the driver turns up whenever. Asked the store where he was. Oh he stuck in traffic in grantham. But they had no way of knowing this. They cant contact him. This is a joke why cant someone bring it out ofa door in gtantham. Very surprised at sainsburys here. Wont be using this again
Clothing but no changing facility
Having driven 35 minutes to a superstore mainly to buy clothes I then find out I cannot try them on, as sizing is difficult this is a problem.
On complaining as I did not want to drive there and back again with clothes that did not fit I was told “we’ve heard all this before and now it is easier for us “, felt that was rude and needless, also certainly do not feel like a customer when Sainsbury expect me to drive an hour round trip to return an item which happens not to fit. Glad your profits are going well I am very disappointed.
A sad decline
I have been shopping at Sainsburys, Green Park, Bath for over 30 years and have watched the steady decline. It used to be a great store but ever since they got rid of the checkouts the service has gone down hill.
The shelves are understocked, the quality of fruit and veg is poor and more often than not, the food purchased is only a day away from the sale by date.
The toilets are an absolute disgrace and the staff are rude.
Whats worse is they seem to hike up the prices on a monthly basis. One wonders with the savings they've made from reducing checkout staff, why there is a constant rise in the cost of the products on offer. Where did that money go?
Frozen items defrosted
I had a sainsbury's home delivery grocery order and when It arrived the frozen lollies were like milkshakes the pizza which was supposed to be frozen was defrosted.
When I phoned customer service I was offered an e-receipt I said no so as I don't usually get home deliveries I would not get to use it.
I was told by Jardon I would receive an email to confirm my refund which I have not received my order number #1324886081.

my grocer order was very late so i called them and was told that it was cancelled due to transport problems at the store. i had no correspondence from them tosay ths until i phoned them. i am registered with them as disabled and therefore relay on the delivery to have food a in the house. i was tp;e tjeu were sorry but nothing they could do than rebook the delivery between 2pm and 6pm the folloiwng day
i explained to them that as disabled person i was unable to leave the house so therefore would be without food and more importantly essentials milk , bread eggs cereal. they said there was nothing they could do than offer me the relacement next day delivery. i think owing to my circu mstances and being a customer for ovr 20 years this is not acceptable

Neglectful care of plants for sale
I went to Sainsbury's in Bath today to look at plants. I wanted to buy some lavender for the garden but was very disappointed to see how neglected and poorly cared for they were. If a supermarket cannot manage to do something simple like watering plants, it begs the question what other shortcuts they are
Sainsbury’s terrible Pizza
Just had Sainsbury’s ‘Taste the Difference’ Prosciutto Cotto Ham, Mushroom and Mascarpone Wood-Fired Pizza, 252 mg.
Taste the Difference? Yes. It was awful. Nearly half the base, very thick, allegedly slow-fermented sourdough, had no topping and was completely inedible. That went straight into the food waste bin.
The part that was covered by a topping might have been more edible if the topping hadn’t been stuck on such a thick base.
Whoever dreamed up this one should be forced to eat the whole of one, and then fired – with enthusiasm!
Awful service from Holmes Chapel

Very disappointed with online ordering
Very disappointed with recent deliveries from Sainsbury’s.
Leaking milk
Sprouting garlic
Sprouting radishes
Short dates on products
Rotten sweet potatoes that leaked all over the kitchen
A stained floor at the back door because the said potatoes leaked into the red crate and left red indelible marks
Not happy with the way the pickers choose products
No photos no refund! So remember to keep an audit log.
I ordered a £240 online shop which had about 6 high value short date items I wasn’t notified of. These unsurprisingly went bad within 24 hours. I mean how many items do they think you can eat in 24hours. No logic is being used. So two boxes of strawberries, the blueberries, salmon, watermelon, chicken and prawns all went off. I mean would you have put these items in your own trolley? No didn’t think so!
When I complained, I was told that no refund will be given unless photos were taken. I hadn’t taken any, but I’ve been shopping regularly at Sainsbury’s and have never requested a refund. So if they checked trend they would have spotted the amount spent vs refund requested over several years came to an immaterial amount.
Yet the customer service agent was rude. Stated “no photos no refund”, no apologies no empathy. Just power surge at the lowest level! Well I hope that made you feel important little man!
So that was my last shop at Sainsbury’s. I have cancelled my delivery pass. You can. Have the £7.50 you money hungry people!
No longer do I associate Sainsbury’s with quality. Ruthless and short termism come to mind.
Probably one of the worst branches
Sainsbury, New England Road, Brighton. This seems to have been a flagship for the self-service machines. I went yesterday and of the three staffed checkouts, not a single one was actually staffed. No option, therefore, other than to use self-service. Not my choice, and not my preference.
I already had a small carrier bag from Boots, but did not want to put it on the floor in case I forget it. I placed it on the packing area. The electronic voice demanded I remove it. I put it on the box that dispenses receipts. Even so, I still did not see it or remember to take it at the end. You may say it's my own fault, but had I been allowed to place it in the packing area, I would assuredly have seen it at the end. Had I been able to use a staffed till, I would have been able to place it in the packing area, no problem. As I exited, I noticed one of the two staff approaching my machine as if she was looking at something.
As soon as I realised I did not have the Boots bag, I returned to the store — only 20 minutes after 1st visit, to ask if it had been handed in. The store had not been busy, only a few checkouts had been in use, no queues. Customer Service desk was helpful but had nothing. The staff member I had seen was no longer serving in the checkout pool, but someone found her (apparently, "the one with the pierced nose") and asked her about the Boots bag. She declined to come to me and claimed she knew nothing about the bag.
I am trying not to assume the worst.
As a final gesture, the person I did deal with, when I expressed annoyance at being forced to use a machine rather than a staff checkout, simply put up both thumbs. A totally meaningless and unprofessional response.
The usual untrained 18 year-old, minimum wage staff, with a doubtless high turnover.
And a catalyst to me to do more internet supermarket shopping – with other companies.
Sainsbury’s own products are dreadful now
I always shopped at sainburys on the understanding it was more expensive but the quality of their own brand was really good. Well we treated our selves to a sainburys shop the other week and bought a few items including biscuits and they were politely dreadful. Hard and tasteless, the mince was fatty and shelf life on ll products was poor. Absolutely not worth the shocking prices of items in there. Disgusting. The only people fining from this decline are the wealthiest in society running these places to the ground for their own pockets to increase. It’s time we all took a stand and said no
RIP OFF
Simply, why are Sainsburies small shop in Hinckley selling Clover Spread 500g at £6 whilst ASDA are selling the same, at the time, for£1.50?
