I am so happy that I learned about this QA program with Careerist and that I made the decision to invest in myself. The training process was easy to understand and follow. The instructors were very helpful, encouraging and knowledgeable. I like the structure of the program where it's easy to keep up and you don't feel overwhelmed or lost. The best part was participating in the internship and getting real world experience as a QA professional. Our instructor, Max, was very helpful and very patient. I'm looking forward to the final stage and landing my first job as a Software QA professional.

My experience with careerist was awesome. It is an online course, but the course is flexible for those that have a job. There is always help if you needed like, 1 on 1 sessions. They offer an internship and career coaching. It does require patience and motivation but its worth it.

I completed this 10-week course as part of a career transition from hardware Quality Assurance into manual software QA testing, and it played a major role in helping me make that change successfully.
I previously worked in highly regulated industries including nuclear, aerospace, and defense. While that experience gave me a strong quality foundation, I struggled to find remote roles in those fields. I decided to pivot into software QA to gain more flexibility and long-term opportunities.
I started the course at the end of July and secured a software QA role by December. Beyond the technical training, the coaching component was one of the most valuable parts of the course. The support around resumes, interviewing, and how to present my background for software roles made a huge difference. The interview coaching helped me clearly explain my experience, answer questions with confidence, and understand what hiring managers are actually looking for in QA candidates.
The course focused on practical, real-world manual testing skills and helped me translate my existing quality experience into software tools, language, and workflows. Having a strong quality background helped me move faster, but the structure, coaching, and accountability were what really helped me succeed in interviews and land a role.
Overall, I am very grateful for the experience. If you are coming from hardware, manufacturing, or another regulated industry and want to move into software QA, especially into a remote role, I would strongly recommend this course.

I have been in careerist bootcamp since September and I really feel and think, this is one of the best decisions I have made. I had my doubts about going back to school or any bootcamp due to fear or thinking I couldn't do it nor afford it. Thanks to Careerist it all was and is possible, they have an affordable bootcamp with different payment options or plans, it's not crazy priced, the instructors they have is very knowledgeable. They have a well-designed program for the people who have full time jobs, family and it is self-paced also which, makes it great for people with busy lives. the mentors, instructors, and the careerist staff is amazing and informative and responsive. if you have any problems, need help, or guidance they are available and ready to help. Thanks Careerist!!!

This program was truly amazing. As someone who was interested in starting a career in tech but wasn’t sure where I would fit, the QA Software Engineering course and internship were incredibly helpful. The instructors were very responsive, and my QA lead, Max, was especially supportive throughout the entire process. I learned so much and gained hands-on experience that I was initially nervous I wouldn’t get. Overall, it was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Careerist!

Careerist has so far done exactly what they say they will do. They provide 7 weeks of training for QA, and now I just complete the internship. They provide real life hands on experience to give you the opportunity to put into action things you learned throughout the course. Everyone has been so attentive and patient. Highly recommend.

It’s a gem. I really appreciated the structure of the program. Each instructor was incredible, and whenever I had a question I received a response that addressed my concerns. It was a beautiful experience. To those interested I will recommend Careerist 100%. Thank you💫

I had a great experience with Careerist’s QA Engineer bootcamp. The classes were really well-structured, and the career coach was amazing, very supportive and knowledgeable. With his help and guidance, I was able to find the job I wanted! It took me about five months of applying, but I finally got the position I had been aiming for. I’m so happy and grateful for all the support from the Careerist team!

They they will do everything that they can to try,And convince you that the tech industry is hiring, and this is the best time to get into this industry. They will also promise you that they will deliver a learning process that is better than the industry standard. And that you will be able to land a career in less than six months. All a complete fallacy.
Surprisingly enough, this tech company
Cross-reference My account with someone else's account. So I was essentially doing someone else's work without them realizing that. then, the career assistance is a complete joke. Once you are done with the courses, there is no career assistance. And they will ignore any questions. You have and do not take any calls after you complete the class.
Quite possibly, the worst investment that i've ever made, and I completely regret everything.

I strongly caution anyone considering Careerist to think twice before enrolling. My experience with their program was deeply disappointing, and I want to share why to save others from similar frustration.
First, don’t expect a refund, even if you’re unhappy with the program. Careerist’s "Careerist Guarantee" has stringent requirements that are nearly impossible to meet, especially if you’re working full-time or have other commitments. The program demands an enormous time investment to complete all their criteria for a refund, which feels designed to ensure you can’t qualify. Between the coursework, assignments, and other obligations they set, there’s barely time to focus on actually finding a job, let alone making money during the process.
Worse, I was encouraged to embellish my resume in ways that felt unethical, like exaggerating skills or experience I didn’t have. This advice came directly from their team, which made me question their integrity. The career coaching was also lackluster—generic advice with little personalization or actionable insight. It felt like they were just checking boxes rather than genuinely helping me advance my career.
The so-called "internship" was another red flag. It was immediately clear it wasn’t a real position with a legitimate company. Instead, it felt like a staged setup by Careerist itself, with no real-world value or connection to actual employers. It was more about fulfilling their program requirements than providing meaningful experience.
Finally, the job market reality is a far cry from what Careerist promises. Most of the tech jobs they claim to prepare you for require a college degree or years of experience—qualifications they downplay during enrollment. The program doesn’t bridge that gap as advertised, leaving you unprepared for the roles you’re supposedly training for.
I’m beyond disappointed and will be pursuing this further with legal counsel. Save your money and time—look elsewhere for career training. Careerist’s promises are misleading, and their program falls short in every way.
EDIT: In reply to the Careerist comment below. Just more lies from them they did not reach out to resolve the issue,we had lengthy conversation and they just closed the matter with no resolution. They also definitely told me to lie on my resume. Specifically they told me to reduce the amount of years I had worked at my previous company and told me to add many skills to my resume that we never learned during the program.

One reason I chose Careerist QA program (manual and automation) was the ability to learn quickly and efficiently from industry professionals who have also graduated from the program. Also, the internship experience is invaluable for applying the knowledge. The only thing I would change is the career coaching portion because expected completion dates aren't clearly outlined. I've learned a lot at Careerist and it's established a solid foundation from which to build. Looking forward to a position in tech.

I tried the service to generate a presentation letter by attaching my CV and describing the work announcement, but the results were very disappointing, it didn't satisfy my expectations and there are no other options to reformulate the type or the response style

My learning experience was amazing! I appreciate everyone that reached out to me or had a hand in helping me accomplish this journey; it wasn't easy! However with the support system I was provided with made everything run smoothly!! Thank you all
I have had the best experience at careerist, was a little unsure of what to expect but my fears are no more i have only praises and flowers for careerist from the committed great teachers, fair cost, very clear and organized study materials and great mentors.
The experience has been great so far. All the instructors are positive and are always there to elaborate when needed. The pre-recorded lessons can get a little tough especially when you can't immediately ask questions but for the most part the program structure is great to learn and get the experience you need to break into Tech.
My experience with Careerist was a breath of fresh air. It came in handy when I was laid off of my job in early October of this year. I started the course in late September! I was so relieved when I was able to make payments through the course, learn in my own time as everything is recorded for later viewing, and the ability to reach out to someone live to ask questions or get clarification about the material. Internship allowed me to see the day-to-day agile schedule one would have. I am excited to enter Career Coaching, last step to gaining the employment I have been desiring as a QA Engineer. Thanks, Careerist.
It's worth going for. Try it.
I liked the length of the Course and what I accomplished. What I didn't like is the Time its taking me to find my first QA role.
Through Careerist I took the QA course and was able to learn through the study materials and lessons taught by the knowledgeable instructors that we had. Questions were answered thoroughly and with ease, and each instructor brought an enthusiasm and confidence that allowed me to embrace each lesson with an uplifting attitude being eager to learn more while helping me to understand what was being taught and giving me the confidence to finish well. Would definitely recommend.
