The initial customer service at Johnson & Perrott was good, but the final handover let them down. I purchased the Diamondbrite protection coating expecting a pristine, spotless car upon collection. When I went to pick it up, the coating wasn't even done. Disappointed with the lack of follow-through on a paid service, despite the otherwise pleasant staff.
I have been trying to get tyres change for my 1 year MG for several weeks - sent email to sales person in Mahon, no reply, sent another - he promised to pass my query to Parts and Service manager, no reply. sent follow ups - no reply. left emails at info@jpmg - no reply. called reception, they said they dont manage that inbox, transferred my call to Service, after listening to bunch of advertisement i did not want to hear, they hang up. Dont buy from Mahon point - they are too busy to help you!
I took my Peugeot 3008 2020 diesel to this garage at mahon point on two occasions to get a electrical problem sorted out and on the first visit they charged my 140 euro's just to do a scan on my car's electric system to find the fault... Apparently the issue was a ABS sensor fault which they don't stock as in part's. So nothing was fixed even though they were informed of the problem 3 weeks prior to the visit.. Two trips to a dealer that doesn't know how to fix my car.. Two days wasted visit's at my expense. Ridiculous would be a understatement.. Selling car's but can't fix them.Now must find a electrician (Auto). that can sort it out.
When servicing an electric car, I would expect, at a minimum, a battery health check report but did not receive one.
This is the second year in a row that this has occurred.
Bought an ex demo Ranger PHEV, all good from test drive to eventually buying a later demo. Helpful service from Sam H, and the others I dealt with.

Peter Punch and all the staff in Johnson and Perrott were wonderful to deal with. Very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. A pleasure to deal with and also gave the best price in all of Cork County so couldn't be matched in both price and service. Very happy to recommend

My experience with Johnson and perrott was not great i brought a car in to get serviced and with another issue i made the service centre aware of when i got the car back the issue was still there and i don’t think they looked in to it in to much detail and also trying to get through to them by phone is impossible they never answer the phone and when you do get through and you get through to the department you want the phone just rings out and if you leave a message for someone to get back to they never return your call and they also have staff being trained up in there and they haven’t a clue what they are Doing iv bought 2 cars from Johnson and perrott Mahon point I’m interested in trading in my own car for a new car and I’m not going to do that now I’m going to take my business else where very very poor customer service
Easy to organise and very easy to deal with. Highly recommend.
