Food intolerance and Allergy dog
I have a dog who has food intolerances and allergies, mostly affecting his ears and the occasional itching of the skin. Though he is on immunotherapy injections, his diet consists solely of Anallergenic food. Recently he’s become very fussy when eating and hasn’t been finishing his food, also coming up to 9 years of age I needed to find some health, particularly joint, supplements for him. I tried YuMove (recommended by his vet) but they didn’t suit him. Through some further research i came to understand that it’s what is used to bind the treat that may have been the problem, so I actively searched for powder. I came across ‘Just Be Kind’ pet foods. Having read the ingredients I thought I’d give them a go…reluctantly. I purchased the Omega 3 daily, the Gold Dust joint and heart powder, and a few trays of the Jumping Jack wet food. Trust me when I say this, I have tried my dog on novel proteins, home cooking, raw food, limited ingredient diets but nothing has worked, the Anallergenic diet was recommended by my dogs dermatologist. Anyway, I started the omega 3 daily and the joint powder a week ago, only using half of the recommended dose and have now upped it to the dose suited to my dogs weight, I also at the same time started adding a tablespoon of the wet food to his diet and now increased to 1/3 of the packet per day. Honestly, I’m beyond surprised!!!! There has been no acid reflux, no itching, no refusal to eat, it’s a game changer, it really is. My boy can’t wait to eat his food, he hasn’t been this enthusiastic for meal times for such a long time. I’ve even mentioned it to my dogs regular vets who are also keen to try their pets on the food, and my dogs dermatologist gave me the thumbs up after checking the ingredients. I can’t thank ‘Just Be Kind’ enough for their products which will help my dog into his senior years.
