i just bought a garden bench from Knox Sawmills. A good, sturdy piece of furniture and the staff could not have been more helpful.

We always get our wood from them, very friendly staff, everything you need in stock, great service, this morning I needed a joiner urgently, Rob recommended someone, who was here in 20 minutes, did the job repairs to broken floorboard, I had a carpet fitter here, who could not fit our carpet, so Rob, you saved the day with your recommendation. Bought timber from Knox Sawmills for various DIY projects, always find the quality is great, prices are reasonable, and the staff are super helpful. Their delivery service is also fantastic, delivered next day and cut to the sizes I had requested.

Never will I use Knox Sawmills again. A new gate only fitted 3 month ago was taken back to be re-jigged or braced to strengthen as it was coming apart. daylight can be seen through the joints. The owner said you have had it in the sun. He shouted as if it was my fault. I do not do gates anymore or repair them. He took hold of the gate, carried it down outside the yard and tried to throw it in a skip on the side of the road. As the skip was full, he threw it against the wall at the side. I asked for my money back and he went into his office, locked the door so I could not follow and ignored all my questions. What a way to run a business.

I recently bought some timber from here. I looked online to see their prices and the website gave a reasonable price so I headed over. On returning home and looking at the receipt I noticed that I had been overcharged £25 for the timber. I rang to query this and was told that must be an 'online price' 1.If the website price is different from the instore price you should state that on the website. 2. Your not a national company with loads of stores that does online only deals. Your a sawmill in Harrogate. to conclude, I would not recommend this company as from my experience I truly feel they do not do right by there customers.

We have used Knox Sawmills for quite some time and have always found them to have good customer service. The items are delivered on time, in good condition. Even during lockdown, Knox has delivered without any delays, giving my other half projects to keep him busy/happy.
