I bought the: KUFATEC Power Amplifier Interface Audio AUX output for Audi MMI 2G from an ebay seller. The device has an USB port, supposed to connect to the PC and set up the interface, so I asked first dirctly to Kufatc, I got no answer even after several reminders, so I asked to the seller, the seller even says that Kufatec does not reply to any requests. Nowadays, the device is connected to my car, sometimes it starts, sometimes it does not, so I cannot forcast if in my next trip I'll be able to listen to the music or not. I's not a choice, I'll unistall it and throw away. Don't waste your money buying from Kufatec.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!! if i could give negative stars i would, I ordered their heated + power & memory seat harness for my mk4 jetta and all they sent me was the heated seat harness, no power or memory. At the time, I only had heated seats originally (no power or memory) but I had plans to swap heated + power & memory seats in the future. So when I installed the harness I didn’t even notice I didn’t have power or memory plugs since all I was using at the time was the heated seat . Fast forward a year later, I finally buy & install the heated + power & memory seats to find I don’t have either plugs anywhere. I ripped up all my carpet where I ran my harness to verify they weren’t tucked away, then I contacted kufatec sending them all the pictures they asked for. After a week of back n forth emails and them telling me I didn’t order the heated + power & memory harness (I have my invoice showing that I ordered that exact harness for my mk4 Jetta plus they only offer the harness with or without heated seats, there’s no option just for the heated seat harness you have to get the power & memory with it),I have the harness backwards, I have the driver & passenger flipped etc. they pretty much told me to kick rocks and they won’t be doing anything WHEN THEY SENT 1/3 OF WHAT I PAID FOR! Absurdly rude to their paying customers when they contact them for support as well, this company deserves nothing short of bankruptcy. ABSOLUTE CROOKS!

ordered a spare part, accidentally got the wrong one, wanted to return it, gave them all the information about returning it, in the end the package I sent was returned to me because they didn't accept the package, to which they said it wasn't their problem, that I ordered the wrong spare part. Arrogant and said it wasn't their problem.

Got in touch with support to check if they could advise me correctly, which they did. Fast & accurately they advised me a specific dongle for my needs. I did not have a normal cruise control, only adaptive which was freaking annoying to me. Found these guys and bought the dongle, did exactly what was written in the manual which was rather fairly easy to follow and clear. The dongle did its work exactly as promised, I have finally a normal cruise control option without brake assist kicking in for no reasons.
Took DHL express, was delivered quick.

The 28.10.2024 I bought a Standard to FL LED taillight retrofit kit from Kufatec. Since I was currently attending school in another country and without a garage to do the install I put the install on hold. Life happens. Anyways, I am now back in my country and its summer and I have completed the install. Problem is that the coding dongle provided with the Kufatec kit did not function as explained in guide. The dongle led was supposed to light up red and then go off when done coding. this never happened , led light stayed on . It was supposed to take up to 1 minute. After like 15 minutes I took out dongle and checked taillights. Not working.

I contacted support , and initially they helped.
They asked me to upload the log from the dongle I did that. Kufatec said the dongle had successfully done the coding. I of course replied if that was the case my taillights would be working, and they are not.
They went on to tell me I might have installed wiring wrong. That is not the case either , I followed the guide and did a continuity test on wires. All was ok.
I then sent Kufatec a adaptation map of the coding to show them how wrong it was. Kufatec then said and I quote
"This retrofit is purchased 28.October 2024, i assume it already worked.
The Dongle done its coding and maybe it is not used at the now mentioned car.

So support is really calling me a lier. That I am trying to install on another car.
I havent asked for any money back, I haven't asked for new parts. All I wanted was help to get taillights to work.
Is there a time limit for installing a item from Kufatec, if not installed within 5 days after purchase you are a lier and trying to scam them. Its ridiculous.

And why would I, if I successfully installed taillights on my car. I could have used the codes on my car to get lights to work on the supposed "maybe it is not used at the now mentioned car" that Kufatec accuse me of doing.

I see in other reviews that Kufatec is calling support professional and so on , maybe some of them are , this one I got is NOT and should find a new job.

I would suggest you purchase your taillight retrofit elsewhere. Where you get codes on a piece of paper, so in case dongle malfunction you can get someone with OBD / VCDS to fix it for you.

And you don't end up being called a lier by kufatec..

Module purchased, fitted but not working. After extensive emailing of wiring pics and details, the module was returned.
Kufatec would not however, collect it from their local post office.
The module was returned to me, I resent the module back to Kufatec again with the same response.
€400 lost.

Maxhaust system purchased instead. Very happy.

Good customer service and quality products. Recommended.

I purchased the dongle only from Kufatec to enable the rear view camera on PCM4 for my GT4. I had bought the OEM camera (used from a 991) and wiring harness elsewhere. The dongle arrived very quickly after completing the purchase and worked perfectly. Dearer than going to the dealer for coding, but a lot less hassle. Would recommend. Very good service.

I bought a used car with Kufatec SB Ultimate. After a software update it stopped sensing RPM, Throttle, etc data. The company who installed the system was 200km away and wasn't much help.

When I turn to Kufatec they first answered that they support only the systems sold by them, BUT when I explained my situation they came back to me with a very kind and supportive attitude. My problem was solved I enjoy the sound of my car.

I am in UK and I made an order,placed an order with a large value, but for own reasons I had to cancel. I cancelled 2 days after msking the order and the customer service was extremely understanding and cancelled my order, with no questions asked. Highly recommend this company. Wish we had one like them in the uk.

I bought a traffic sign recognition dongle which worked great. Customer service and support also great. I emailed in advance to ask about compatibility and received very helpful advice based on my VIN number. Placed my order Monday morning and the product arrived from Germany in London the next day! Its not cheap but well worth it. Thank you!

Ordered Auto hill assist from them instead of ordering from Ali express because I assumed this was a reputable company that would include proper instructions and after sale support. Unfortunately this could not be further from the truth. First I tried to install my self. I figured I would use the apparently detailed instructions to do the install my self. Instructions were a bit confusion but I chalked it up to being an amateur mechanic. Real problems started when I got to the part where I needed to connect wires to the existing harness plug. The plug in the car and the one in the instructions did not match. Instructions said to put a wire in a specific spot in the plug but there was already a wire there. Anyhow after a few hours of trying to figure it out I put everything thing back together, and figured I should consult a professional. Brought the vehicle to Audi specialist, they came to the same conclusion. Over a month period the garage and I tried to get answers from KUFATEC via Social media, email and calls to Germany. Phone calls to Germany were difficult first because of time zone issues and second the person one the other line spoke very broken English and was not so motivated to help. He even said at one point something to the effect well these interactions are for many different models so plugs may look different. My mechanic eventually figured out by doing many internet searches on forums and YouTube that this was not the right plus or wire in the instructions. This was a colossal waste of time and money. Besides my attempt the vehicle was taken appart on 2 different occasions. It's too bad because this company offers cool retrofits but knowing what I know now I would never order anything from them again, especially not a complex retrofit like the auto parking which I was thinking of getting before this experience

I bought several products from Kufatec for my smart 453 and so excited about their attitude to clients!
They answered all my questions and helped remotely via TeamViewer. What a good service, thank you so much especially to Jochen Stein. I recommend!

I ordered what i thought was the traffic sign dongle for the Porsche Macan S. I really only wanted the speed limit indicator and that is what it seems to be. It works perfectly and installed with no issues. Great product.

Perfect product!! The Dongle worked quickly and as expected, 3d presentation activated on my cayenne by the dongle on 20seconds maximum, I recommend Kufatec , definitely I will deal with them in the future

Was asking for help buying one of their products - literally told me to "go find a professional" - the thing is that's exactly what I was going to do once I had purchased the item - read reviews here before you purchase - RUDE UNHELPFUL UNPROFESSIONAL ARROGANT GERMANS NEED I SAY MORE !!!!!

Refused to provide an installation manual for one of there products despite me being willing to provide a purchase receipt.

On this website I find things impossible to find, an incredible service and a very fast delivery, very happy!

Over the past 10 years we have been using now and then some of the Kufatec products, and they are useful and quality products but whenever support is needed for some in depth technical stuff you can forget all about it.
I guess making money from selling the products and not wasting time with customers is more important this days.
I have customers who come for support to me after 10 years and I am still trying to help all of them the best I can.... but at Kufatec (from my experience) this has never been the case... German brands and support is not what it has been and it's a pity.
