Sent someone who had never mowed a lawn…
Sent someone who had never mowed a lawn before and didn't own a lawn mower to mow my mom's lawn. I'm trying to work and juggle caring for my elderly mother's lawn and this really shows how little they care about their service. Now I'm at work and on hold for ever trying to get this fixed. Very poor service. First person said just go back to the app.

I love LawnStarter & Steven!
Steven from Steve’s Lawn Mowing & Odd Jobs has been taking care of my lawn for a few months now and he’s great! He consistently comes on the booked day of the week and cuts my grass well. I appreciate the reliable and reasonably priced service. I would highly recommend him!

The app and website are both unstable…
The app and website are both unstable and not easy to use. The actual work folks seldom respond on the app to questions. When work is scheduled, I get no advanced notification of the exact time that they will be there (which is necessary since I often hire for my rental and I don't live there).

Worse experience EVER!!!
Horrible experience, terrible customer service, worst service I honestly have ever paid for. On top of that the customer service, if you can ever get in touch with them, are worthless and do absolutely nothing to help.
My original date of service for my lawn was over a month ago, the first guy was a no show, he never even reached out nor did he even reply to my message when I asked for an ETA. Then after reaching out to customer service they’ve continued pushing back the scheduled day for several weeks with no resolution nor any kind of compensation for the 5 times I’ve shuffled my work schedule around to be there on the date they said they would be there just for them to not show up and not even reach out to let me know they are not coming.
Save yourself the trauma and unnecessary stress, do NOT use Lawnstarter.

WAS CHARGED MORE THAN DOUBLE FOR OVER GROWTH!!
THE PROS THEY USE ARE SNEAKY AND TRY TO HUSTLE YOU FOR SIDE DEALS!! COMPANY CHARGE $93 INSTEAD OF $50 FOR WHAT THEY CALLED OVER GROWTH. WHEN PRO MARKED MY LAWN AS DONE, MY LAWN WAS VERY UNEVEN, EDGES WERE ATROCIOUS AND NO CLEAN UP WAS DONE!! I TEND TO THINK THAT BECAUSE THE PRO OFFERED ME A SIDE DEAL SO THAT LAWNSTARTER WOULDN'T CHARGE ME DOUBLE FOR OVER GROWTH AND I DECLINED IS WHY MY LAWN WAS SO CARELESSLY DONE! USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
