Jason does a great job on my lawn and he is consistently great. I have used his services for the past few years and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend recommend him!

I had a very disappointing experience with Lone Star Towing and would not recommend this company based on how my situation was handled.
After their service, my backyard lawn was left in very poor condition. Cut grass was left piled across the lawn instead of being properly cleaned up. The heavy layer of clippings remained on top of the grass, and afterward large areas of my lawn dried out and were damaged.
I contacted the company, explained what happened, and asked them to take responsibility and help restore the damaged areas, such as by reseeding the lawn. I also provided photos, messages, and other evidence showing the condition of the yard and the damage.
Despite this, they did not accept responsibility or offer a reasonable solution to correct the problem.
What disappointed me most was not simply that damage occurred, but the way my concerns were handled afterward. Mistakes can happen, but I believe a professional company should listen to a customer, review the evidence, and make a reasonable effort to correct damage caused during its service.
Based on my experience, I would not use Lone Star Towing again. I am sharing this review so other customers can be aware of my experience and make their own informed decision before hiring this company.

LawnStarter makes it super easy to get hooked up with a grass cutting pro. The website is easy to navigate. The guys that cut my grass were very nice and did a great job keeping the grass out of the pool. They did a good job trimming and cleared the sidewalks and driveway of grass clippings. The company even offers flower bed weeding.

Excellent service! Would highly recommend. Attention to detail. Just let them know anytime for more services.

It was great at first. I signed up for weekly lawn mowing. They let you pick what day you want your service, but that doesn't mean that's what you'll get. I was assigned a pro who was able to come on a different day. That was fine; at least it was consistent, and he did a good job. For a few weeks. Then I got a nice message from my pro that he was out of town and would need to reschedule my service to the following day. Before I could reply, LawnStarter told me my pro was changing. Once they change your pro, you can't message the old pro, so I don't know why it was changed. It took a couple weeks for them to find me a new pro. This one was also very nice and did a good job. For a few weeks. Then again I got a message from LS that my pro was changing. I didn't hear anything for more than a week after that. I contacted customer service and was assured someone would contact me to schedule my mowing for that weekend. Nothing. I contacted them again the following week and was again assured someone would be out in a few days to mow my lawn. Then a few days later I got an email from LS canceling my service altogether, saying there are no pros in my area. So now it's been weeks since my grass was mowed, and I'm left in the lurch with no one to mow it.

Recommend service provider showed up at my house and left w/o preforming service and marked the service as done. Getting a new provider is extremely hard. They do not answer in a timely manner. Even after calling customer service my service is still marked as completed when it is not and a new service pro has still not taken accepted the job. This app is completely unreliable in every way.

They are constantly charging Extra without giving you a warning or the ability to say yes or no first. I have a lawn that barely has any grass and they try to charge extra for that. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone for support and just been an overall horrible company to deal with.

My professional, Michelle, truly loves her work and does an exceptional job every time. My yard requires special care because I have so many raised beds. She trims around each one being careful not to cut any cascading limbs and to not damage the metal raised beds. She even bagged some weeds I had pulled up, but hadn't cleaned up before she arrived. They're gone! Now, that's going the extra mile!

I love the service being provided by the local landscaper they've matched me with. I do think the tall grass charges should be better explained to the customer when signing up. That's at no fault to the landscaper, but on the company's side they should clarify to the customer how they will be charged with an exact dollar amount before the service.
