The audacity of an application that is people focused that limits who a user can connect with. An application does not dictate who my network is.
LinkedIn could be a more popular
LinkedIn would be a more popular if the security access improved. I changed phone number and now cannot access my account unless I put all my personal info into a third-party database.
Why is there not a security question option. LinkedIn is not even something to secure so heavily.
A Kafka experience
One more very poor experience with Linkedin adding to the thousands already there. I had a free-trial then suddenly was charged an annual's subscription. Contacted the help centre (not easy to find btw) and got told that a reminder was sent to cancel. Which I did not receive. And thus used Linkedin while not knowing this. Precisely for that no refund is possible. This is called Kafka.
Good platform dont' why so many haters
Wow, so many people hate Linkedin! Why? Is there a alternatives?
What rubbish
What rubbish. The best one lately was be being sent stuff for the ADF. I am over 70. What a joke this is.

Never getting anywhere with the support and help -
Thank you for confirming. Since your concern is related to your personal LinkedIn Premium subscription, it falls outside my area of support. However, don’t worry! I’ll transfer your case to our dedicated team, who will be better equipped to assist you. I’ll make sure to share the details of your concern with them, and they’ll follow up with you via email with further assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Pay tens of thousands for recruiter…
Pay tens of thousands for recruiter account, accidentally click "save to archive" on a random candidate that popped up when he has nothing to do with what I was searching for. Cannot delete from my hiring project permanently, cannot get support, cannot get human help, I have to leave the person in the archive that I planned to use next year for when I hire a engineering manager, so now I have to recreate the project and re add 200 candidates manually. All because Linkedin refuses to include a "delete" button for a project and hides human help behind mountains of documentation. Why am I paying 20k for stress and no value.
lure people to auto-renew for subscription
LinkedIn is a total scam.
They offer free trial for premium subscription to lure people to input credit number. They automatically charge you for a YEAR subscription (almost £200) without sending you receipt or notification. When you request for a refund, even just a day after without using any of the features, their CS team is so rude and unhelpful. With EU refund policy, you can request refund within 14 days of purchase. They said they start counting from the free trial period, not from the day you actually pay. How is it legal? Not surprised they only have 1.1 star here LOL
I cancelled the subscription at the…
I cancelled the subscription at the exact same moment without using any of the Premium features at all. Despite this, they refused to issue a refund and hid behind rigid automated policies just to keep the money. This company prioritizes collecting cash over customer satisfaction. This is the absolute last time I will ever use or deal with LinkedIn, and it has been one of the worst and most disappointing experiences I've ever faced."
An Antisemitic Company
I've closed my LinkedIn account after numerous clear antisemitic acts by LinkedIn staff
Not good so far
I've just rejoined and in order to verify they force you to download the app, which I didn't want to do, so the process is onerous and time-consuming.
Linkedin verification scam
My account has been restricted without warning or explanation.
I have never had any issues before and my password is very strong.
They now 'offer' me the chance to regain access to my account using an app called Persona. I am not comfortable providing my ID details to anyone on the internet. Imagine a third-party app that I know nothing about.
Out of frustration, and because I need to use my LinkedIn account, I even agreed to try the Persona verification process, but it's almost impossible. Even after 20 attempts, they still refuse to accept my ID pictures.
I suspect that this is probably an agreement between LinkedIn and the Persona app to encourage people to start using it.
If things continue like this, I will probably delete my account permanently as I think it's a scam.
LinkedIn is probably one of the most…
LinkedIn is probably one of the most dangerous companies globally that I can think of LinkedIn after we've now come to the realization that a lot of these CEOs and c-suite executives are involved in some pretty let's say disgusting unethical unhumane treatment of people and linkedin is kind of at the center of it all like this whatever company would be stealing the slaves from a country to have them work for these bad guys I think LinkedIn is at the center of it and as you can't type a few sentences about the Epstein files yet they have no problem promoting jobs for these exact same people and the companies that they own and run an example would be Bill Gates and all of the other disgusting things that he does but they'll have videos promoting what a great guy Bill Gates is and yes that could be left to interpretation but with all the restrictions they have on freedom of speech and things of that nature I find it funny that they promote the bad guys but don't let the good guys speak their mind and use their own language so LinkedIn to me also I believe the founder was a pedophile on the Epstein files but I think LinkedIn to me is just another way that the corporate elite another strategy they use to try and recruit their slaves and linkedin is the center of it all

Was great had for at least 10 yearsm now they want to harvest my physical ID. Absoloutley no chance. Just a place for fake job postings atm
I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with LinkedIn Premium’s customer service and billing dispute process.
I signed up for a 30-day Premium free trial through LinkedIn’s desktop website. LinkedIn’s published policy states that customers receive an email reminder before the trial expires and before their credit card is charged.
I remember seeing this promise when I enrolled. However, I searched my email and could not find the promised reminder.
When my subscription automatically renewed, I immediately contacted LinkedIn to request a refund.
What followed was an incredibly frustrating experience.
I contacted multiple representatives, explained my circumstances repeatedly, and provided a screenshot of LinkedIn’s own published reminder policy.
Instead of addressing my concern about the missing reminder, representatives repeatedly denied my refund because I had accessed the “Who Viewed Your Profile” feature.
Even after submitting a formal written dispute, my case was closed without answering whether the promised reminder was ever sent.
I understand that companies have refund policies. But customer service should involve more than repeating policy statements while ignoring legitimate questions.
My experience left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and disappointed by a company that promotes itself as a professional networking platform.
I am not asking LinkedIn to ignore its policies. I am asking LinkedIn to honor its published commitments, investigate customer concerns, and provide meaningful answers.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend LinkedIn Premium.
Randomly shutting down paid accounts.
Three years ago they temporarily restricted my account because they thought my name was made up.
I had to submit proof to prove that I was me, and then they graciously "permitted" me to remain.
Today they shut down my sales navigator without warning.
I had been back on the platform maybe a week, done about 20 reach outs, posted twice.
Not sure why , except my tagline DID say something about "ungovernable' + I do have an unusual name, and it's possible that with those together, someone flagged me.
Keep your money.
Don't give it to them.
There is no proper supprt chat or help…
There is no proper supprt chat or help channel for such a big platform
It's absolutely unacceptable
It's absolutely unacceptable. LinkedIn restricted my account without identifying a specific violation, then claimed suspected unauthorized access. Persona failed to verify my valid driver's license twice and now blocks further attempts. Support repeatedly sent me back to Persona, refused manual verification, and denied my appeal for "lack of legitimate identification." Even after escalating to leadership, I received the same unusable instructions. LinkedIn has effectively locked me out with no valid solution.
Update – October 14, 2026
After 10 days, LinkedIn finally restored my account. While I appreciate regaining access, the resolution came with another concerning development.
LinkedIn now claims my account was restricted for repeatedly sharing unsolicited or spam content. However, they have not identified the specific messages, actions, or circumstances that allegedly violated their policies.
They also warned that another violation could result in permanent account restriction.
How am I supposed to avoid repeating a violation when LinkedIn has not identified what I supposedly did wrong?
I rely on LinkedIn professionally, and this experience has significantly disrupted my work. I'm now hesitant to resume normal professional activity because I still don't know what triggered the restriction.
Restoring my account does not erase the contradictory explanations, failed verification process, or lack of transparency throughout this ordeal.
I appreciate the restoration, but the underlying concerns remain unresolved.
Account restored. Accountability still missing.
