Unacceptable

I am very disappointed. As a student you show faith in a small company, by buying one of their E-books, hereby in good belief you’ll be saving a few coins in contrast to buying a physical copy. Haven’t had the book for more than a year, and it is only when I open the app, that I realise the whole company is apparently shutting down. No email? I realise I only have one month left of my materials, as the app will close in September. The app has no ways of downloading your book onto other apps, and I now stand with no book. Lix is unable to refund my purchase in any way. I’m very disappointed as a student, who is already low on money, and can barely afford new materials. It is unacceptable behaviour towards customers, and I bet loads of students haven’t even realised yet, that their materials are disappearing, since they are all on summer break and haven’t received any email. Truly disappointed.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service! There was a book I could not find in my country, and I e-mailed the customer service about it. They answered right away and the same day the book was available for me to buy! This is the best customer service I've experienced :)

Slow and buggy

i don't now how you manage to make what is essentially a gloryfied pdf reader so uncomfterble. it is contstantly getting updates, somtimes it logs me of for no reason, every time you update it it forgets my ofline books. somtimes it can't get online when my internet is working fine and then i can't read any of my books somtimes not even the ofline ones. ontop of all that it is buggy slow and unresponsive. i have en 8th generation i5 processor i should be able to scroll through a ebook without lag

Customer service was amazing!

Customer service was amazing!
Had some issues with one of my purchased books, but it was all taken care of in no time.
Prices are great!
Only issues at the moment are missing android app, as well as missing highlighting possibility on the app.

Bought all my textbooks there

Managed to find all my textbooks that I needed for the semester on Lix for a lot cheaper than at other bookstores. I also more and more enjoy their reader, which is unlike alternatives as Kindle explicitly tailored towards studying.

Superb customer support

Superb customer support. Quick handling and willingness to help me as a customer. I had issues with the text not being perfectly rendered in a book I had purchased. The support responded promptly to my concerns and requested a new book file from the publisher. On top of this they gave me the offer of a complete refund.
