Portfolio website done in record time
Loveable was so easy to use. It made building fun and fast. I built my UX portfolio in 7 hours overnight to prep for an interview the next day. Without Lovable, it would have taken me weeks to create a portfolio website. The hiring manager also said he liked my portfolio!
Keep up the great work, Team Lovalbe!
Embeds deep developer knowledge in a very user-centric format
The last app I dreamed up had quite a bit of complex math and physics under the hood, but it was rather easy to describe what I wanted the app to do for me. For the first version, I just spoke to the microphone in my non-English first language what I wanted, told it to make a plan and hit go.
After answering a few questions regarding the desired level of realism in the physical world models, and some UI-related questions, I approved the plan and the first prototype was built in minutes. Tested it, added a few features to make it even better, checked and corrected some functionality issues on iOS and Android, done. Ready to deploy within an hour in total for some friends to try out on their phones, including a thorough business analysis exploring market potential in different future configurations that I asked for just for fun.
The most impressive thing is how Lovable draws on deep knowledge about the world in general and is able to construct a deep and complex hierachy of implicit requirements. This means it does things that you never told it to do, and you get the opportunity to say yes or no to the suggested added features and details at every step.
Another great thing is how it fetches SDKs and APIs for all kinds of gadgets like smartwatches and connected training gear, and designs bridges and mini-apps to pull data from them. Also hooks up to different open data sources for data feeds on the fly. It even provides step-by-step instructions on how to install these components in the gadgets for novice users like me, a full user manual with troubleshooting table and all.
I can forgive it for some seemingly simple flaws like not testing the app automatically for all possible platforms in a mobile-first application - I got some annoying 404 Page not found here and there in the first prototype iterations but it corrects the errors after a few tries.
Since I am not a professional software developer, I cannot say how easy it is to make more detailed adjustments to the code but it seems easily accessible with good structure, lots of carefully chosen variable names and informative comments, and can also be exported to other tools. I also lack competence to say anything about larger architectural issues that may arise when integrating apps from Lovable into complex enterprise systems.
All in all, Lovable is a great tool for me and it is very fun to use!

started using since last september or so 1, it is insanely expensive compared to using like codex or claude code on zed or in terminal like 5% of the cost than lovable all they are is just a wrapper. they have definitely improved on executing but also have gotten greedy moving from supabase to their own cloud making vibe coders who has no idea how this works changing this a complete mess before they use to just connect to supabase directly with your own account and everythign same with resend now they just keep everything hidden and use their own services just so they can keep you here forever. ive spent almost $3000 on lovable trying to get out now but the difficulty is insane. its a trap
So buggy
So buggy. Overall the first time I used it, it was a rush job to build a website for my brand. It did a fine enough job but quite a few hiccups...who cares it got the job done for what I needed at first. Then I had multiple issues with customer service and disclosure...still haven't heard back from billing issues. Then when I wanted to update my site make minor text copy changes first off I had to buy more credits since I hadn't heard back from support to even fix my site which I should have credits for. So it's like okay I'm out another $26ish dollars (I've invested way more with this site) but everytime I'd try to make a copy change it writes it's own texts, does what it wants, and burns through credits really spending the majority of the time pleading with it to stop working on its own accord. What should've taken an hour max has taken upwards of 3. Honestly you're better off dedicating the time to using other website builder providers. The first chance I get I'll be making my own website, just expect half of your credits or more concentrated on the mistakes it makes and debating with a faceless site.
Even after creatingNot Worth the Cost: Token Limits, Errors, and Extra Charges Make This Platform Frustrating a workaround to…
Even after creating a workaround to reduce token usage by using another AI platform to clean up my prompts, make them more efficient, and reduce errors, the token limits still feel way too restrictive. You only get 100 tokens per month plus 5 extra per day, which is not nearly enough if you’re trying to build something serious.
The bigger issue is that errors and failed attempts still burn through tokens quickly. I spent $60 last month and still had a lot of issues I needed to fix manually. That gets frustrating fast, especially when you feel like you’re paying more just to troubleshoot problems the platform should be handling better.
I’ll be moving to another platform next month. My advice: if you’re trying to build a real, polished project, be careful. The token system can make it feel like the platform is designed to push you into buying more instead of helping you complete your work efficiently.
It's all a scam
It's all a scam. Don't dare!
First, they never stop taking your money and giving you credits to build a website. If you don't use those credits, you don't get to keep them; they take them too. It's like you are being forced to use them.
They just take.
decided to choose Lovable even after…READING SOME REVEIWS
decided to choose Lovable even after reading a number of negative reviews. Like most people, I assumed the positive reviews would outweigh the bad ones. Unfortunately, this has turned into one of the biggest nightmares and wastes of money I have ever experienced.
At first, the platform seems okay. But very quickly, you find yourself burning through credits over and over again just trying to fix basic issues. You come back the next day and features you already had working have disappeared, broken, or changed for no reason — meaning you have to spend even more money trying to repair things you already paid to create.
And I’m not talking about losing a few pounds here. I’m talking hundreds and hundreds of pounds wasted.
The support is absolutely disgraceful. After spending a huge amount of money trying to complete a simple task that repeatedly failed because of their platform, I contacted support explaining the situation in detail. Their response was essentially to throw 50 credits at me and move on, without properly investigating the issue or taking any responsibility.
They simply do not care.
The whole experience feels designed to keep you stuck in a cycle of spending more credits fixing problems caused by the platform itself. You waste hours and hours of your life trying to build things, troubleshoot issues, and recover broken work, only to end up frustrated, stressed, and out of pocket.
I genuinely wish I had listened to the other reviewers and gone with Base44 instead.
Please listen to the warnings from other users. Stay away from Lovable if you value your time, money, and sanity. ANYONE ELSE WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ADVICE ON TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST LOVABLE. I HAVE A LOT OF DOCUMENTATION FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND VIDEO EVIDENCE

Hi I really love this builder easy to use .
Just, fantastic!
Lovable has achieved for me in 15 hours what a human digital agent hasn’t even come close to doing in over six months. I love this tool. It’s easy to use, quick to get started with, straightforward, and offers constant, clear support. It’s been a real revelation for me and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Good but it will screw you wherever it can.
For someone wanting to build a simple website and who has no coding skills the platform is very good, it will hook up a feedback form to your email with just a prompt, and is very intuitive overall.
As some others have noted the more you get into the refinement stages the more it demolishes your credits (which you must purchase blocks of), it can't help making unrequested changes and sometimes it actually feels like you are begin scammed (i.e. you make the whole site a certain red theme, all bullet points, all headings etc and there will be a blue bullet point, you say “make the blue bullet point red” and it will be a different type of red from the rest of the site, requiring you to clarify (and costing another credit), is also makes a lot of unrequested changes, for example you might say “move the logo at the bottom left to the right on all pages”, it might only do on a single page (requiring more credits to do what you want) and it might also alter logo placement at the top (requiring more credits to fix).
This is why is does feel very scummy at times, it almost feels like t is doing this deliberately.
Hot tips: try to avoid getting mad and yelling at it “did I tell you to do that?”, “why did you do that?” – I have wasted way too many credits getting frustrated and doing this, but most importantly of all be sure to use another free open ai platform to frame your requests to loveable – for example, take a screenshot, put it in chat GPT and say “give me a prompt for loveable to make the blue dot red”, it will then generate a very specific command "change the blue bullet point to the same thematic red as the other bullet points, do not make other alterations, do not change layout, this is cosmetic only" etctec, you then cut and past this into the loveable chat, making it difficult for loveable to monkey-paw you, though it still will whenever it can.
I believe, though I may be mistaken, that they charged me credits without making any changes to my website.

The convenience and speed of building and correcting issues along the way. I love Lovable and would highly recommend it to peers. Kapatiran Party is a small but national political party in the Philippines, plugging it out with mainstream, traditional politicians and parties for a better Philippines. It is not well-funded, hence, I once asked AI if we could get some special rate. I was told to subscribe first to Pro Plan and speak to customer service later about the request. I hope this reaches customer service.

Incredible tool
Incredible tool. What would have taken weeks or months and cost thousands or dollars a few years ago, you can now do in hours for a small amount of credits and no development knowledge.
Lovable Customer Service is TERRIBLE.
Lovable itself was great, I used it a lot. Now I use Cursor/Vercel/Claude Code/Codex.
FYI, Vercel and Cursor offer 1 year of free Pro if you're a student.
However, their customer service is TERRIBLE.
Contacting customer service is only available via Email, which gets you an AI Response. You can escalate to a human, but I'm not sure if they're any better. The human I was talking to (for a week) offered a solution on the first day, then the next day they forgot the solution they offered and then spent the next 5 days refusing to do anything for me. They kept asking me to do the same thing over and over, which I had already done, and ultimately, customer service did absolutely nothing for me.
My problem was never solved.
In fact, Lovable Customer Service decided to stop responding to me after day 6 of the back and forth emails.
I'm extremely disappointed in Lovable Customer service and am slowly moving all of my projects to a different provider due to their customer service being terrible.
Best App Ever
This app is effective and awe inspiring. It is ineffable and I have even started making money by devoloping apps for it. All this for free, there is simply no way you are not star-struck. Just get on the website, it can do miracles.
I love Lovable
I love Lovable! It is the easiest tool I've come across to build professional Sales Pages, Landing Pages and websites. Things that I used to dread now are super fun to play with thanks to Loveable!

I had an idea, you made it come to life. Now it opens a whole new perspective for me. Built another application with more functions.
