Good customer service starting with being collected from the local railway station even after train delays. Picked up an Eriba campervan which was nicely prepared. Easy transaction and handover after a look around the van. Facilities to stay on site although we didn't use them. Follow up emails were sorted without any problems.

Had a couple of problems after our first trip in our new motorhome, with only a couple of days notice Lowdhams service team sorted both in a morning, they kept us updated while the work was progressing, and we were on our way home in just over two hours. Couldn’t fault the service we received.

I don’t very often leave reviews, however I thought my recent dealings with Lowdhams Leisure, was worthy of one .
Our experience started at NEC motor show, and the ordering of a new Crosstrail, all the way through to delivery .
Kevin Holmes, was brilliant, and so helpful. No question was ever an issue or stupid ( and there were a lot).
I was kept updated from the vehicles arrival, through to the collection.
On delivery day, again Kevin and the team, were very helpful and supportive. Very good handover, and explanation, and again a willingness to spend as much time as I needed, before I left with new vehicle .

Would 100% recommend to anybody willing to listen

Great sales experience buying our used Hymer Free 600 from Jamie Middup who provided excellent support throughout the process and afterwards as a couple of issues with the van were resolved. Jamie ensured the van was ready to be viewed with no pressure to buy, offered an excellent trade in price, and supported us during the handover including booking us into the camp field for two nights. The van has been used for a number of trips now and has been great fun,looking forward to many more!

Finally collected our Sunlight Cliff 600 x Campervan after 9 months and it was so worth the wait ! An amazing van and super helpful staff from Stuart in sales to Shirley who oversaw the handover.(not forgetting Caroline with the morning papers) An excellent level of service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lowdhams. Now looking forward to getting out and about as much as possible and exploring in the new van.

Richard was ever helpful and patient. We never felt pressured and a deal was agreed easily.

We are driving a new Sunlight Cliff X 640 supplied by Lowdham Leisureworld and we are delighted with it.

We went into the showroom in late December 2025 with a detailed spec of what we wanted. Jamie (sales) matched us up with a van due to be in production imminently. We were grateful he was aware of the cut-off date for build changes and took the time to offer this to us. We requested 2 small changes and as a result we had the perfect spec. We discussed and agreed some dealer fit options - again a very simple process. Jamie arranged a test drive for both of us.

I am often sceptical of salespeople but we both warmed to Jamie very quickly. He offered non of the usual sales nonsense. He was helpful, honest and down-to-earth.

We waited a little bit longer for delivery than expected - but this was not Lowdhams fault. Instead it was a national paperwork problem for all brands of campervan / motorhomes based upon the Fiat platform. Jamie kept us informed throughout and made sure our van was heading over to the UK as soon as Fiat had sorted out their national paperwork issue!

We collected the van and had a full handover from Shirley on an absolutely scorching hot day. She was super - again very easy to get on with and knew her stuff. We had a couple of technical questions about the solar and alarm and two other people were called over to answer those. As part of the handover we were given 2 inches of manuals, and leaflets for everything installed in the van. A great handover from Shirley and the team.

We popped up to the shop and were amazed to find the Cadac we bought on Amazon was cheaper at Lowdhams - damn! Anyway we bought a few very reasonably priced essentials (cables, pipes, awning tie down straps etc). We drove away very happy and confident that we knew how to use everything!

I forgot to mention that we had Gaslow, external BBQ point, extra AGM battery, solar and tracker/alarm fitted by Lowdhams. We are really pleased with these installations - they look really professionally done and we've had no problems with them. The external BBQ point is amazingly convenient!

So far our experience has been top-class. Thanks to Jamie for a smooth sales experience and keeping us in the loop on delivery. Thanks to all the behind the scenes teams for the dealer fit options and the subsequent handover. We hope any future warranty and service work will be as smooth an experience - because we all know this is what people talk about online and what ultimately retains customers!

Based upon the experience so far I'd buy from Lowdhams again.

We are away on holiday (day 5/26) and the water pump went on our hymer mercedes crossover Called lowdhams on sunday and spoke to Martin, the on-call technician. Met Martin at Lowdhams at 0800 Monday morning, fault with waterpump diagnosed, new water punp installed, systems check, paid and off we went at 0900 to enjoy the rest of the holiday outstanding communication and service from Martin and his team who displayed a kind, compassionate and can-do attitudes a credit to Lownhams Give that man a pay rise and a promotion !

We cannot thank Barry at Lowdhams enough for making our purchase so easy, explaining everything in detail, a really straight forward and informed buying experience. We love our new Dethleffs Globetrail ! Thank you also to the team in the shop who helped with our purchases and took them down to our new van, very much appreciated.

Good communication with sales rep Chris. An easy transfer to our new motorhome and an excellent explanation of how everything worked in the new van. My husband and I both learnt a lot. All in all a very good company to use for getting our new motorhome.

Purchase of new van handled efficiently by Barry. Monthly updates on build progress and delivery date. Great handover on collection day.

I would think twice before buying anything from them as they are great when you are buying something but the after sale & service department are shockingly bad. I have been asking them for more than 2 weeks for a damp report from last year. I have called the EVERY DAY and have been told they will call me back (this didn’t happen) I have called the supervisor who said that they will call me back (this didn’t happen). I asked a manager to call me and surprisingly (this didn’t happen)
I would take your money elsewhere if you were thinking about getting anything and need aftercare.
Eventually got it sorted after more calls by myself and no reply from them on a call. NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Kiran always goes the extra mile to be helpful and provide excellent customer service. His technical knowledge means we have confidence in his support and suggestions.
We are very happy with service provided by Lowdhams.

Our previous experience of Lowdham’s after sales has not been good. However, we had our vehicle booked in today for a week to have several minor warranty issues looked at. However, the Service Receptionist, Laura Leigh, stated that if we weren’t in a rush, she would get the technician, Martin, to join us in our van to go through some of the issues with us. He went through the list and resolved each one of them for us, whilst we had a coffee in the cafe. Within an hour, we were able to take our vehicle back home. Nothing was too much trouble for either Martin or Laura - they are true ambassadors for Lowdhams.

Had our first Habitation check for our Sunlight Cliff we purchased last year.
Laura Leigh was our contact on this occasion and I have to say that I was very impressed with her communication. Every email I sent to her she answered in good time and came back with answers. Although it was Kieran who dealt with us when we picked up, I observed Laura dealing with other customers and telephone queries, she is obviously very good at her job, helpful and pleasant to boot! Credit where it is due.
