I am an Annotator for many websites

I am an Annotator for many websites, recording daily - but at Luel my content got several time rejected, even all criteria were met. After reading all the reviews, i am not surprised and actually rather stay away from them. Can not recommend.

LUEL IS A SCAM BECAUSE.....

Luel may give you few dollars when starting to gain you trust , then after you do more task they will bring irrelevant excuses(sg.sharing payment account)not to pay you and permanently terminated your account and they won't delete collected voice print, photos and other personal data .

I completed tasks on Luel AI and…

I completed tasks on Luel AI and requested a withdrawal. My Luel dashboard shows the payment status as ‘Paid’ but I have never received any money. I checked my Stripe account directly and it shows NGN 0.00 with zero transactions and no activity at all. This proves that Luel marked my payment as ‘Paid’ without actually sending anything to Stripe. I have been contacting their customer support for over one week and have received zero response. I have screenshots of both my Luel ‘Paid’ status and my empty Stripe account as proof. I am not the only one — multiple people in the Luel AI Facebook group are reporting the exact same issue. Do not waste your time on this platform.

I'm so annoyed trying this platform called luel. I completed task, it was approved, initiated payout and it's over a month now. I didn’t receive it. One hour conversation wasted. It shows on luel that I have been paid but I didn't receive it. I brought this up on their discord with so many other users experiencing the same thing. Only to find out few hours later I was no longer on their discord server and I couldn't join either meaning they removed or blocked me. I will never recommend luel

Review:Title: Completed work accepted, payout confirmed, then cancelled after suspension

Review:
I worked as a contributor on Luel submitting AI training data. My submissions were approved and a payout of $33.40 was confirmed and marked as successfully submitted and being processed via Wise.

My account was later suspended for a multi-account policy violation. I accept responsibility for that mistake. However my confirmed payout was cancelled for work that was already permanently accepted by the platform.

I contacted support multiple times professionally and referenced their own Terms of Service. My inquiry was escalated to a senior team with a promise of response within 1-2 business days. I have now received the same automated response twice with no real human review.

The work was done. The content was accepted. The payout was confirmed. I am simply asking to be paid for work already delivered and permanently retained by Luel.

I hope Luel resolves this fairly.

It's a scam

It's a scam , no payment received even after requesting them and when i reached out to their support i got banned and didn't receive my payment, if they did that for 10usd they would do it for 1000usd , it's a scam and they steal your data and about 90% of the positive reviews is fake btw they are made in the same date, luel ai is a scammer company that steals your work and refuse to pay, there is even a black market for luel accounts on reddit so it is also not a safe work space, don't waste your time with luel ai if there was a lower rating i would have chosen it

SCAM ALERT

They send you half your payment if you're lucky, and only at the beginning. Then they reject all your tasks, even if they're perfect, just to keep your work for free and not pay you. They buy reviews for this site, and it was proven on Reddit. Beware!

Site is legit but there is some issues.

Site is legit but there is some issues.

POSITIVE:
Yes, they pay. I have withdraw without any problem to my bank account.
No fees if you use Stripe with USA bank account.

NEGATIVE:
Right now there are no new tasks to contribute. So, no incomes atm.
Reviewers sometimes mark original content sent as "not original". So, that's not paid.

Banned for submitting original content

I submitted original content (not AI-generated) and was paid, but I can’t withdraw since the minimum is $5 and I don’t have enough. I waited for a new task, then I was unexpectedly banned. I believe they may have sold my content and earned the money, while I received nothing as the submitter.

What a joke

Original experience: Completed 61 voice recording tasks. Task listing promised 50 cents per approved submission with instant payment upon approval. Dashboard showed $0.00 across the board. Support didn't respond. When I escalated to the founders, co-founder Inigo blamed Stripe for payout delays. My payout method is Venmo. He cited a processor that has nothing to do with my transaction.

I was then passed to someone named Chiara who sent boilerplate responses addressing nothing I raised. After I verified my identity on Trustpilot, 60 of my submissions were bulk-rejected the same day for "quality" with no specific feedback on a single one. I captured the platform's network data. There is no database field for rejection reasons. The quality review process they described is not possible on their own infrastructure.

The TOS grants Luel perpetual, worldwide, exclusive, transferable, sublicensable rights to your voice, likeness, and biometric data. You cannot see these terms while logged in doing work. The TOS was dated the same day I disputed payment.

After five emails in which Inigo addressed zero of five specific factual issues I raised, I stopped. I walked away.

Then I logged back in. My account had been reset. Sign-up date showed the current day. Every recording gone. Every submission erased. Sixty-one tasks, the $0.00 payout history, the rejection records, all of it wiped. Like I was never there.

I let that go too.

Then Luel flagged my Trustpilot review as defamatory. A review containing nothing but facts documented in their own email correspondence, platform data, and TOS. They had four emails to dispute any claim I made. They disputed nothing. Then they tried to have the review removed.

That is the company you're considering working for. They collect your biometric voice data under terms they hide from you, they don't pay, they bulk-reject your work without explanation when you complain, they delete your account when you document it, and they flag your review as defamatory when you tell other people about it.

Screenshot everything. Read their terms before you record a single word. Your voice is worth more than fifty cents and a company that retaliates against honest reviews.

I don't recommend it

They are not paying anymore, and are rejecting submission repeatedly with no reason. They don’t offer any real solutions, and the support team never responds.
