We do not stock or maintain inventory, and the cost to ship an order varies based on location, book type, quantity, and weight. As part of our Print-on-Demand business model, your item may be printed in another country, which may increase shipping costs.
Our team is always looking for ways to reduce costs for our customers. We have worked to reduce the cost of printing and pass those savings along by reducing our standard book pricing.

I have been using Lulu Direct for print-on-demand (POD) services for almost two years. While the quality of my book is very good, I have experienced some significant issues. Customer service is low quality, print costs are high, and delivery to my customers is very slow. On average, my customers receive their books in 10 to 14 days, which is unacceptable given the printing costs.

Regarding delivery, please keep in mind that total transit times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout and the delivery location. Because we are a Print-on-Demand service, delivery includes both a production window and carrier transit time. Choosing a ground or expedited shipping method, while more costly, usually results in shorter times in transit compared to more economical options. It is also helpful to note that print costs and shipping fees are separate, as they cover different stages of the manufacturing and fulfillment process.

The printing quality is excellent. The process of uploading the book pdf file and cover is friendly. It enables checking and making corrections in your files if needed. The whole process from uploading and ordering until I receiving the books was smooth and without a problem.

Very poor binding because the pages…
Very poor binding because the pages were not properly glued together and have come undone. Furthermore, I paid £10.99 for express delivery but the books were not delivered on time. Very disappointed with the overall quality of the book and delivery time.

Disappointed in the print quality
I ordered two samples of the book and the print quality is not consistent. There are pages that had yellow graphics/backgrounds that printed with a green shadow over the whole page. I'm not sure what to do about this because I have family members who want to purchase this book, which is a family cookbook.
