I'm a paying a yearly subscriber.
I actually love Magnifics product, and I even like the AI agent, but the support is almost nonexistent. If I hadn't already invested so much time and money in Magnific, the prices and support situation would make me leave.

3 out of 4 of my last messages to support did not even get a response (that's pretty crazy). And it's always been like that. You don't get a confirmation that they've received your message or a estimated response time, no you just have to keep checking your spam filter for weeks.
My messages that do get a response. Always has a follow up question like "Can you describe the issue in more details" without any reference to my message. So having sent multiple messages going months back and having the AI agent create cases about "not getting a response from support", I have no idea what support is asking me to describe.

Also when I get a response from support after weeks of waiting, they close the case if I don't react within 48 hours or less! And once closed they dont answer, and I have to start all over again. So I usually just give up.

At these prices support should be a part of the deal. It really shows a lack of care for your subscribers.

Excellent reall makes me ask what will be the future of major design companies.

Imported visual prompts into Magnific were accurately incorporated into a prompt. The resulting composite image was very accurately produced.

I am very grateful for the wonderful assets you always provide for various design concepts.

I've been with them for about 15 years. A great, supportive team, frequent discounts, and plenty of tools for photo editing and AI

They dont want to pay customer service people so they just use AI and waste their clients time for easy solutions.

I've been using Magnific and it predecessors for at least five years. It's grown into an impressive array of options. It's my go to source when it comes to looking for graphics. Now, with AI and the ability to generate audio & video, I've barely scratched the surface of all it can do. VERY impressed.

The AI video generated was quite good in most respects. However, I was quite frustrated and disappointed that the simplest and most basic of my prompts was not followed in ALL FOUR PASSES - and that was for the camera to be locked down, stationary, no zooms or pans whatsoever! In every case, there was a camera zoom added; that is unacceptable, and actually makes it impossible for me to use the clip(s) in the way I wanted to. I'd understand if it was a complicated prompt and open to interpretation. But asking for a stationary camera is clear as a bell!! In fact, I'm quite annoyed that I have to pay any credits at all (and we're talking 4,000 credits here) for the AI repeatedly ignoring such a simple, basic, UNAMBIGUOUS direction!

Title: A harsh policy and no transparent accounting for €600 in earnings

I was a contributor on Freepik/Magnific. Following a copyright investigation, the company permanently closed my contributor account after determining that several uploaded works did not meet its copyright requirements.

I acknowledge that the contributor policy states that copyright violations may result in account cancellation and the suspension of pending payments. I accept the decision to close my account and am not requesting its restoration through this review.

My concern is the handling of approximately €600 that was showing as pending earnings in my account. The entire balance was frozen, but I was not provided with an itemized statement showing which earnings were generated by the disputed files and which may have come from other content. I was also not given a clear explanation of whether the money is temporarily suspended or permanently forfeited.

I requested a review by a supervisor and asked for a humanitarian exception because I live in Gaza, where this amount would make a meaningful difference to me and my family. My requests were declined, and I was repeatedly told that the decision was final.

I understand the importance of enforcing copyright rules. However, I believe that retaining an entire balance without providing a transparent financial breakdown or considering whether any earnings are undisputed is an extremely harsh approach.

I hope Magnific will provide a final written accounting, clearly explain the status of the €600, and release any earnings that are not connected to the disputed content. I will update this review if the matter is addressed or resolved.

WELL, THE PLACE SPACES IS VERY CLEAN. BEGINNER'S FRIENDLY. I CREATED A VFX EDIT ON THE PLATFORM IN LESS THAN A MINUTE USING SEEDANCE 5.0. I ADVICE THE PREMIUM PACKAGE IS NECESSARY.

Our annual renewal plan was changed to premium+ without our consent or request. We queried the charge on Paypal and within minutes our account was suspended. Paypal found in favour of Magnific so we lost the extra €245 they charged us and our account is still suspended, their support is using the rubbish excuse that our account was compromised (It wasn't) it was suspended because we queried an unauthorised plan upgrade made by Magnific. Shady at best, criminal at worst.

Update: as their support system is non existent, I have to update here. they did in fairness refund us, although a pretty random amount, they still have the rest of the money but has assigned us to a free plan, so we still cannot access the premium assets we paid for. keep on digging I guess...

Cancelled my paid annual plan by mistake, then permanently blocked me from years of my work
I'm a filmmaker and long-time paid subscriber to what was originally called Freepik and is now Magnific.
This month Magnific responded to a support request by cancelling my paid annual subscription, and ultimately permanently blocked my account, which holds years of work I created with my paid plan.
It all started when Magnific made an unauthorized $32 automatic "top-off" charge on my account. I wrote to their support and asked for the $32 to be refunded. Instead, Magnific cancelled my entire paid annual subscription and deleted all my remaining credits.
When I contacted support again, Magnific confirmed in writing that my annual subscription "was cancelled as part of the previous refund process", said it could not be reinstated, and said it had processed a partial refund - WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. They told me to sign up for a new subscription that costs more and has fewer features than the one I had already paid for.
When the refund didn't arrive, I opened a PayPal dispute to get my money back. Magnific then changed its explanation three times: first it blamed an unspecified "security incident", then it suspended my account "due to an ongoing dispute", and finally it alleged an unspecified Terms of Use violation, permanently blocked my account, and stated I am "not eligible for a refund". It has given no facts to support any violation - because there were no violations.
I paid for twelve months of service. Magnific ended the service by its own error after six months, refused to restore it, and has not paid the refund it promised. It has now permanently blocked my account, which cuts off all access to the service and to the thousands of images and videos I created with my paid subscription over several years. I have no access to anything I paid for.
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had with any company.
If you're a creator who would be hurt by the company you rely on summarily blocking access to your PAID ACCOUNT, then absolutely DO NOT USE MAGNIFIC. At minimum, back up everything you make somewhere else.

good experience with AI generation and editing

I would NOT RECOMMEND this platform to other contributors.Extremely disappointing customer service. I received completely different explanations about why my account and portfolio were deactivated. Initially, I was told that my ID document was the issue. Later, I was told to make a “fresh start” and upload 25–50 new images, only to then be told that the actual reason was the quality and performance of my portfolio.

I spent months uploading and building a portfolio of hundreds of images, and this was simply wiped out with no clear or consistent explanation.

The way this has been handled has completely destroyed my trust in the company.

I’ve realized that it’s really worth putting effort into crafting the prompt, because Magnific can bring everything to life exactly as envisioned. I was very impressed with the result.

Highly intuitive. But some parts and features are still barfing errors from time to time.
