Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 123 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers report significant issues with unauthorized and incorrect billing, with charges appearing even after account deletion or during free trial periods. People frequently mention a lack of transparent pricing and a credit system that quickly depletes funds for basic tasks, making the service expensive. Reviewers also express strong dissatisfaction with customer service, describing it as non-existent, unhelpful, and often automated, providing no real solutions to problems. The subscription model is a major concern, with many finding it difficult to cancel and experiencing unexpected charges. My account remains unusable since…

My account remains unusable since 22-May-26, due to the “credits exhausted” error, even though my annual Manus Pro payment was successfully completed on April 29, 2026.

This situation is now severely affecting my business operations and daily work. I have already waited patiently, but the continued lack of response and resolution is extremely disappointing for a paid Pro customer.

I would like to ask the following urgently:

What is the current status of my case?
Has the billing issue been escalated to the responsible technical team?
When exactly will my Pro access be restored?
Who is the responsible person or manager handling this escalation?

Impressive Product, Unacceptable Support — 3-Day Outage With No Response

I am a Pro plan subscriber using Manus to host my professional portfolio website. The platform itself — the AI agent, the site builder, the development tools — is genuinely good. I would rate the product 4 stars on its own merits.
However, I am rating it 1 star because of what happened when the infrastructure failed.
On May 21, 2026, my website went completely offline due to a routing failure on Manus's hosting infrastructure. All URLs — including the native .manus.space addresses — began redirecting to a Google Cloud Run URL instead of my project. This is not a DNS issue. This is not a user error. This is their infrastructure.
Over the following 72+ hours:
I submitted a support ticket and received one automated acknowledgment with no follow-up
I posted in the official Manus Reddit community — the post was immediately removed by moderators
There is no phone support, no live chat, no status page, and no escalation path
My site remained inaccessible to every visitor for over three days
For any business using this platform to host a public-facing website, this level of support failure is a serious risk. The product works well when it works. But if you need reliable uptime and responsive support, proceed with caution.

Took from my bank £300 on my first day of 7 days free trial and didn't deliver

If I could give -stars this product doese not deserve even one star. they offered me 7 day triel and then charged me full amount for one year, because this system is designed to give a templte to start with then then take all your money. the system is designed to burn credits and never will deliver results. each time i asked to do something it turned doing rubish and taking your credits meaning your money gone. Then they offer you 300 daily credits, this is a joke with 300 credits is designed for you mybe lucky if you replace a picture. Go back to wix and duda drag and drop you can design unlimited at not extra cost. Meta is braking the law and they should be punished for missleading humans intentionally. These companies should't be allowed to operte in the market or similar sompanies they should be baned for stealing money from accounts for millions of people. The same applies to facebook who run ads forme in vietnam and my business is in London and tried to take £800 from my bank. They said account was hacked,,, joke... they do that to millions, they need to be punished. never use any meta products I dont trust them for one second. Meta has lost trust and anything with meta is a No to me. Complete robbers. Theaves.

Feels Expensive With Fast Credit Drain

My experience with Manus AI was frustrating. The biggest issue was extreme credit consumption. It often felt like credits were drained quickly while tasks were not completed with the level of reliability expected from a premium AI platform. Users pay real money expecting automation, execution, and real assistance — not repeated consumption without clear progress.

The connector system also raises concerns. Features are marketed as helpful integrations, but when workflows consume credits rapidly and do not always provide proportional value, it creates distrust and frustration. Many users expect AI to reduce effort, not create uncertainty around cost and completion.

This platform needs stronger transparency around credit usage, better execution reliability, and fairer consumption logic. AI should feel like intelligent assistance, not endless spending while users still struggle to finish tasks. Looking at public discussions, frustration around pricing, credits, and execution appears to be a recurring concern among users across review and discussion platforms.

AI magically dumb after payment, credits gone, zombie subscription

AI was impressive during free trial. Mysteriously lobotomized post subscription. So I kept using the most powerful model to not get slop. Aaaaand it's gone. All credits gone in 1 day. Also its a zombie subscription. I remember killing it once, but somehow they still charging me. Possibly due to the dark pattern obfuscating of the "cancel subscrption" button which they call "downgrade to free" in tiny text. How this is legal makes one wonder what is going on. Customer support is gaslighting too.

Worst Customer Support Ever Experienced

I want to say Manus is a good tool. The support is trash. The worst I have ever experienced. It created the best website I ever had. But when I needed help they could and did nothing. It does not give you any tutorial guides so learning is use credits as you go. My problem is Manus will not take accountability when it runs on its own and will not stop. I text and emailed and texted and no one came to my aid. they asked me to delete hundreds and hundreds of auto-scheduling manus created. As I deleted credits were being eaten, devoured. I asked to shut it down, no one complied. My credits went down to zero. I no longer had access to manus. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Credits and usage drain so quickly it…

Credits and usage drain so quickly it feels like Manus would need superhero powers to keep up. Spending a lot only to see credits vanish within hours—after all the recalibrations, settings tweaks, options, engagements, and interactions before Manus is even ready for autonomous execution—leaves nothing. Then there’s a 24+ hour wait for just 300 more credits each time. It’s like a pricey Rube Goldberg money trap. Not happy, not impressed, and definitely not recommending—a rough start for Meta Facebook AI and the Manus dev team, with only about 35% of functionality working before everything crashes and the credits disappear.

Manus.im is a scam

I rarely write complaints like this, but my experience with Manus has been an absolute disaster from start to finish.

It all started when I saw an advert promising that Manus could take instructions and actually organize files and folders on a desktop automatically. As someone deeply interested in AI, automation, and digital tools, I was genuinely excited. I honestly thought, “The future is here.”

So I signed up immediately and paid for the service.

What followed was hours of frustration, confusion, and complete disappointment.

I spent almost an entire day trying to make the platform do the exact thing your advert strongly implied it could do. I tried prompt after prompt, instruction after instruction, different approaches, different methods — everything. I was glued to the platform for hours trying to make it work.

The feature either did not work properly or was nowhere near what was implied in the advertising.

Even worse, my credits disappeared incredibly fast. In less than four hours, all my credits were gone trying to achieve the very task Manus claimed it could do.

Thinking maybe I was making a mistake, I even purchased MORE credits before finally realizing that I had been completely misled.

At that point, I immediately contacted support and requested a refund.

The first support representative told me there would be “no problem” processing the refund.

Six days later — nothing.

I contacted support again, and that was the first time I suddenly heard that because I paid through Google Pay, Google Pay supposedly had to handle the refund process.

Frankly, I do not accept that excuse. Manus took the payment, so Manus should be capable of handling refunds professionally instead of sending customers in circles.

Again, I was reassured:
“Don’t worry.”
“We’ll escalate it.”
“You’ll be sorted in a few days.”

Another five days passed.

Still nothing.

I contacted support AGAIN.

More delays.
More vague answers.
More excuses.
No resolution.

At that point, I contacted my bank directly because it became obvious that Manus was dragging this situation out endlessly. My bank has since attempted to contact Manus regarding the transaction and refund process, but according to the bank, they have not received proper cooperation or response.

And now the situation has become completely absurd.

The ONLY reason I am still waiting today is because the last Manus support agent told me that someone would contact me by email with proper contact details and information that I could pass on to my bank so this refund could finally move forward.

That was supposedly the solution.

So now:
My bank is waiting.
I am waiting.
And Manus remains silent.

I honestly do not understand how difficult it is to provide simple contact information to resolve a refund issue that should never have dragged on this long in the first place.

Instead, I’ve been left chasing emails, repeatedly following up, sitting around waiting like an idiot while trying to do YOUR job for you just to recover MY own money on time.

I should never have been put in the middle of this process. A customer should not have to become the middleman between a company and a bank because customer support cannot properly handle a straightforward refund request.

At this point, it is no longer just about the money.

It is about:

* The wasted time
* The misleading advertising
* The rapidly disappearing credits
* The endless delays
* The lack of accountability
* The poor communication
* The exhausting back-and-forth
* The complete disregard for the customer experience

This entire experience with Manus has been disgraceful.

And if this is how Manus treats paying customers, then people absolutely deserve to be warned.

I am writing this publicly to warn others about Manus, especially regarding:

* The customer service
* The refund handling process
* The misleading advertising
* The way customers are repeatedly stalled and ignored

Because right now, the experience feels like:

* Overhyped promises
* Features failing to deliver
* Credits draining rapidly
* Endless refund delays
* Poor communication
* Constant excuses
* Zero accountability

I have now reached the point where I am beyond frustrated.

Until this matter is resolved properly and my money is returned, I fully intend to continue speaking publicly about my experience anywhere Manus advertises or promotes itself — whether that is social media posts, adverts, public forums, review sites, discussion groups, or comment sections.

Customers are not powerless, and companies need to understand that treating people this way damages trust and reputation.

Manus seriously picked the wrong customer to ignore.

Absolutely unacceptable.

SCAM AND FRAUD

SCAM AND FRAUD - Manus Stole My Credits Without Evidence
I accumulated 376,500 invitation credits on my Manus account through a completely legitimate referral program. I am a professional in the recruitment sector with a verified presence on LinkedIn and over 250,000 followers on Facebook. I shared my Manus invitation link publicly on my official social media accounts, which is explicitly allowed on their platform. Real people from my professional network signed up using my link.
Without any warning, investigation, or explanation, Manus deducted ALL 376,500 credits from my account. They claimed my invitations were "fraudulent" but provided absolutely zero evidence to support this claim.
I contacted their support team FOUR times to understand why and to request a proper investigation:
First contact: I asked why my credits were deducted. Response: An automated template claiming fraud, with no explanation.
Second contact: I provided proof of my professional status and credentials. I asked for specific evidence of wrongdoing. Response: The exact same automated template, word-for-word.
Third contact: I asked them to show me even ONE fake invitation. I explained that receiving a large number of legitimate invitations is normal for a professional with my following. Response: The same automated template again.
Fourth contact: I demanded a real human investigation. Response: They closed the entire conversation without any attempt to help.
In their final email, they admitted: "This decision was applied automatically by our risk system based on those signals, not by an individual reviewer." This proves that NO HUMAN EVER REVIEWED MY CASE.
They are refusing to:
Provide any evidence of wrongdoing
Conduct a proper manual investigation
Explain their decision in detail
Reverse the deduction
Help resolve the issue
This is fraudulent and deceptive business practice. Manus is using automated systems to steal customer credits without evidence, then refusing to investigate when customers complain. They admit no human reviewed my case, yet they refuse to restore my credits.
DO NOT USE MANUS. They will steal your credits and refuse to help you.

It’s better than other options but…

It’s better than other options but significantly more expensive. Some individuals simply can’t afford a credit-based system. Their team should develop a simple charge plan without credit for the Manus Lite model.

Stay clear

Stay clear - AI work, but their customer service is not existent. Do you really want to take the chance of investing your time, data and money in a platform that can lock you out - with no recourse to human support? Hopefully this help you make the decision. (The fact that their reviews go unanswered, tell you all u need to know :-( )

I don't recommend it; it's a scam.

I paid the price. After some time, I found my credit had been deleted, even though I hadn't used it. They also deliberately ask you to give them things you didn't request so you'll run out of points and pay.

Initially Great, Then Bad

Initially, Manus was awesome.
Until it wasn't.
It started burning through credits like crazy.
Then I found out that their tech support isn't even real, even though it looks like you're communicating with a real person. You're not.

In my experience

In my experience, Manus is one of the most infuriating AI platforms on the market. It burns through credits at an absurd rate, and the worst part is that it still charges you when the platform itself gets the job wrong. Bad output, failed attempt, misread prompt, wasted run – it makes no difference; your credits are gone anyway. That is not just a flaw in the system; it feels fundamentally unfair and like a scam.

The support is just as bad. Getting help is almost impossible. Replies take days, and when they finally come through, they are weak, generic, and useless. There is no real ownership, no urgency, and no proper effort to fix the issue. You are left paying for a broken experience and then chasing a support team that does not seem equipped or interested in resolving anything. in addition, they only reply via email !!!!

For a paid platform, that is unacceptable. Manus has positioned itself as a serious AI product, but the actual customer experience is a mess: expensive, unreliable, and badly supported. A platform that consumes paid credits for its own mistakes and then hides behind slow, ineffective support does not deserve trust. I would not recommend it to anyone relying on AI for serious business use. MANUS, wake up and get real. Your business will be and is slowly crashing, and before you know it, bye-bye, Manus. Wake up before it's too late. Look after your customers; we are the ones keeping your business alive... not for too long.

"Update: Manus AI just closed my support ticket without any resolution, ignoring my billing issue and Stripe dispute warning. They are literally running away from their customers. Avoid this platform if you are a serious creator."
