Since being taken over by Kpler Marine Traffic has been destroyed. It was my goto App. It is now third rate. If you want to follow cruises use cruisemapper.com. It's brilliant.(their app is not so... See more

Such a great shame
Such a great shame the app has dropped so far from being very good to rubbish
They Couldnt Care
Have been sending photos to Marine Traffic for many years and they obviously have an AI moderation system in place which keeps rejecting perfectly good photos. I also have had their AIS equipment for years. In my last conversations via email they actually cant or dont want to assist me in any way and basically said like it or lump it. The answer is of course I have stopped adding photos and will be returning their equipment. What a sad state of affairs. There are other great Ship AIS websites and apps out there.
New upgrade is abysmal
I have had a subscription for years and used to absolutely loved the App. I live in Portsmouth and used to thoroughly enjoy checking the ships around the harbour. But, since the massive App upgrade I have found it incredibly difficult to use. I hate the new colouring and find it impossible to track or find what I'm looking for. Such a shame as the old App gave this oldie lots of fun. I have now cancelled my subscription and using a different App. Wish companies wouldn't make such huge changes in one go - a few simple tweaks and gauge the response. Grrrrr.

I was a daily user of the MarineTraffic app. It has now become unusable. Why did they destroy this app? Where is the best place to report this?
Totally ruined a good app
I have used this app for years. As a professional mariner it did everything I needed but now it’s rubbish. I won’t be renewing my subscription.
Now barely useable
The latest update has ruined the whole app. Badly laid out and most of the details/vessel track are behind extra paywalls.
Extremely poor and now barely useable after being a very good app for a number of years.
What a mess they’ve made of this…
What a mess they’ve made of this formerly excellent site. Lack of place names , hard to identify ship types due bad colour definition. No start or finish times. Does not seem designed for a touch screen. Will certainly not be upgrading to Pro Plus !
Shameful
The old app was far ahead of this new one, don’t know why it was changed but it’s changed for the far worse. Shame on whoever came up with this. DREADFUL.
For the sake of seafaring people, bring back the old one.
Why update something for the worse?
Why update something for the worse?
This used to be a very useable, up to date app. Now consistently showing boat date 6/7/8 hours out of data.
I was very happy with the original app
I was very happy with the original app. Now the user experience is very poor and pathetic.
No access to mobile pro plan
I have a subscription to mobile pro plan, but can only access the free plan. Each time I connect I’m offered an upgrade, which I’m already paying for. No obvious means of contacting Marine Traffic to discuss this. Recently very disappointing.
Oh what a shame
Oh what a shame , used to be a really good useful app , now just a clunky app which is barely useable , for Gods sake fix it .

Have used MT for 10 years and found it very useful when sailing. Also good to use for tracking a yacht delivery. However, the new app is so clumsy and does not give real time tracking information. Please go back to the old app!

Destroyed a great app!
What a disaster! The original Marine Traffic app was really helpful and excellent. You have managed to destroy a brilliant app!
Please go back to the old app
Please go back to the old app. This new app is so complicated and definitely not user friendly so much so that I don’t use it any more. It’s ridiculous
New 2026 application is terrible
New 2026 application is terrible. Bring back the old application. It was good.

Was reasonable now it’s pretty poor after updates and unless the app is significantly improved I won’t be renewing.
