We arrived knowing we were early, just to tell them that we were there. The owner greeted us with a very unwelcoming attitude. The hotel is in dire need of a refurb and their excuse that it’s an old building doesn’t excuse the fact that it needs a damn good clean, threadbare curtains need replacing etc. We should have been told beforehand there was no evening meal available and the breakfast was very greasy. Would we stay again? No. We were not made to feel welcomed and we left disappointed following a long journey to get there.
