Previous version app was excellent, new version is massively inferior. Long range forecast disappeared, rain radar won't load. Tried to find old version to reload but it's not available. Used to us... See more

Met office and bbc weather apps take…
Met office and bbc weather apps take money off the tax payer just to get it wrong.Useless apps
The new site is a pile of infantile rubbish
They have turned what was a very good forecast site into an infantile pile of rubbish. The old version allowed you to see on one page a detailed and in-depth forecast, which was especially useful if you were planning outdoor activities. The new version is too simple and looks like it was pieced together by children.
Predicted weather almost never happened.
Weather usually 90% of the time false,
today it said 100% rain at 11 for the whole of my town, 11 comes around no rain.
Poorly predicted temperatures etc.
Most overexaggerated weather site ever.
1 star.
Terrible new website layout
I check the Met Office several times a day as I need to know wind gust speed and direction for my line of work.
The new website is beyond appalling, I cannot fathom why they are going ahead with the new layout despite negative feedback. What was a quick glance and all the information in front of me, I have to scroll and scroll, still cannot find the information I need, and I find the dark blue and bright icons harder to read than the old layout. I have provided feedback on the website many times, it’s just awful. I hope they will take the new website criticism on board and not make the change.
I am now moving over to XC Weather.
New presentation is a mess and gloomy.
New presentation. Not needed, not better, and certainly not asked for. I guess they had a meeting?
Day-Ruiner
Met Office keeps issuing warnings that completley ruin my day, like now there's a thunderstorm warning, Met Office is atrocious, you know that?
Why close the old one when the new is so badly received.
Why are the Met Office removing the old website when they know how badly the new one is being received.
They clearly don't care about the customer experience or read the reviews. - Why bother even asking people what they think if its simply ignored.
When the old one goes so will I.
The new one is simply dumbed down rubbish.
Renters Beware
On August 13, 2026 at 2:45am., my Yukon truck was STOLEN from the property of THE MET Apartments located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The address is 2770 North Rainbow. This was my worst experience visiting a person who lives on this property.
Following this incident at the property, I have reviewed and analyzed other important issues.
This property is a public display of appalling for severe neglect, and deplorable for unlivable hygiene.
There appears to be a deceptive for hidden flaws, dismal for depressing lighting and views, and untenable for structural deal -breakers. These issues are unacceptable.
I am addressing additional unacceptable issues at this property. They SHOULD BE EXPOSED to the world before you plan to live here and visiting people for safety reasons.
I have not seen after -hours security walking or driving around to ensure the residents safety . And I’m unsure if the camera located outside above the office is a dub for showing safety or not working. I was told by staff that; the codes to access the camera are unretrievable. This is unacceptable. This is an issue.
Then, when you enter the front of the property, broken gates are allowing entry into the property and exiting the property. These gates are always open. This is unacceptable. This is an issue.
Finally, homeless people and squatters are invading in large numbers throughout this property. This is unacceptable. This is an issue.
I recommend that this property address the issues. Instead of relying on its current residents to pay their monthly rent on time and staff receiving a check for their poor service.
I find it hard to believe the the Met are doing this
I find it hard to believe the the Met are forcing the new App and Web Based forecast page on to people when they are only rate 1.1 out of 5 on Trustpilot. They have also been asking for feedback!!!, why!!!, they obviously don't read it. And now, the web based app is closing and if you dare to try to use it, you are forced to give feedback every time.
Utterly stupid revamp
Brilliant site, turned appalingly bad
Harder to read, terrible lay out, not worth using...
New layout/format is very poor
New layout/format is very poor. Lost the hour by hour column based data necessary for planning my day. If the old version stops I'll dump the app and find an alternative
The new site has so little information.
The new weather forecast site design is terrible!
The new weather forecast site design is terrible. The current (about to be deleted) version is great - I use it several times daily. It's clear and has all the key info on one page, really helpful for quickly checking on phone screen. And I can save or send a quick screengrab with all the key info. So helpful for sports/hikes/seaside visits. The new site is less clear, has less info in the screen at once, and I need to scroll up and down or to the right to find what I need. I won't use the new site so once the old one goes I'll have to find a new page (such a shame).
The never get it right! …
They always say it is going to get cooler and fresher in the SE and it never does, they have been saying it the whole of this summer!
Awful bright glaring blue
Awful bright glaring blue. Very bad for the eyes.
BIG MISTAKE MET OFFICE!!!
I really can’t use the new design
I really can’t use the new design! What a disaster of a site it is now. Having to scroll up and down a huge page of gamified and hard to read information. Once there is no longer the option to switch back I won’t be using it.
A truly awful example of change for…
A truly awful example of change for change sake. The old app was comprehensive and concise in a table format. The new app adopts a scattergun approach to providing the information and is truly awful.
Unfortunately, the only way for the Met Office to prove that the new version is not an expensive mistake is to ignore all criticism and plough on.
Ordinarily I love the Met Office…
Ordinarily I love the Met Office website. Especially for checking out wind speed and gusts. They are vitally important for my sport. Sadly, the new design doesn't support this feature, and rather than looking like a professional weather website (as the old version did), the new one looks like it's made for people who drink lattes and occasionally look out of the window.
Until now I have used the switch back to the old design link at the top of the page. But today I find out they are removing that option. I guess I will have to find another weather website. It's a shame and I'm not happy.
The old one was much better.
The old one was much better.
Bright and informative.
The new one is dismall.
And more tricky to read.
Stick to the old style and sack the guy that created the new one.
