Folks, don't waste your time collecting points on your co op card because they are not worth anything,
We have booked numerous holidays with co op travel add our points card but what people don't know is each point has a zero worth the card and points system is a waste of time god knows what happened to all my accumulated points ??.... very disappointed.
Find out your self and phone number back of your co op card.
Fraud (a) talktocoop.co.uk on receipt goes to…
(a) talktocoop.co.uk on receipt goes to wrong website ie useless.
(b) spent £77.19 at Codsall, store 0417 and had £10 off voucher for spend over £75. As I handed members card to cashier before voucher, when she scanned card the amount reduced to £67 so I was told I hadn't spent 75.
No indication on voucher that has to be presented first ie sharp practice. Or fraud?
Hopeless
I realise all telecom companies are either average or poor but I really hoped Co op might be different. They have gone from bad to worse to non-existent. I was left without a telephone service and after a week of chasing every day have had no reply. I don't think there are any staff working at customer services. They are permanently on holiday.
Disgusted
I have had an ongoing dispute with them for several months about noise and their packaging litter everywhere. Their responses are always defensive and they haven't even offered an apology. I always get the feeling that their responses are tick box and that they haven't implemented anything they have described, because the reality on the ground does not meet their 'visits'. Disgusted. They are not 'serving the community'.
The Unscrupulous demeanour of Midcounties COOP
It comes to a point that Midcounties Coop employees would go to such lengths to deceive and manipulate the system for their own advantage!
I’d sent over 50 emails to their office to highlight the wrongful disingenuous deceptive behaviour.
It’s to restore my confidence in a system that is meant to serve without discrimination!
This is the true meaning behind this vizard, the employees of the Midcounties Coop portray.
The Coop had control of the system all along! VARs had no part in this Charade!
The employees will carry on working at that station to the detriment of the consumer/ Customer.
Good afternoon Nigel,
Thank you for your response.
We would like to confirm that, unfortunately, we do not have our client's CCTV stored in our office for this event. VARS Technology do not own or manage the forecourts.
We would also like to confirm that the forecourt has responded and has asked for this to be removed, as they also do not know why it has been placed on the blacklist.
We would like to apologise on behalf of the forecourt for any disruption this has caused.
Kind Regards,
Cassie Hampson

Pricey and Unhelpful
Our local in Chipping Norton is pricey. I guess it includes a "tax" to support their pet community projects. A million miles away from the spirit of the original pioneers. And if you ask for help - not money - with a community project forget it. Head office will shrug similarly too.
Classic example of "enshitification".
I can echo others' frustration that what used to be great service has gone down the pan. It really isn't acceptable that the "help" line simply gives a message that they're too busy to answer calls ALL DAY so call back next week! For heaven's sake! Talk about the enshitification of a service.
Chipping Norton branch attitude
Chipping Norton branch charges much higher prices than other branches, but what annoyed me is their indifferent attitude towards pricing errors. I purchased 2 items individually marked and coded as half-price, but which went through as full price. The attendant simply referred me to queue at “customer service”, where a gum-chewing teenager shrugged her shoulders and told me to await a “manager”. Some 10 minutes later, he simply refunded the difference and blamed the stickers, with no apology. I contacted Head Office who couldn’t care less. So much for being owned by Members!
Uncaring generally and no response
Still no landline after more than two weeks of calls to Customer Service and Technical Support and many emails to different departments. Many promises of action and finally today (7th March) Openrrach have been asked to call. And contact with someone who admitted they have dealt with this badly. We have very poor mobile signal which often fails and health issues including having to avoid stress. Very sad that what was once The Phone Co-op and a caring community organisation has become a useless one. Example: automated message on their phone line regularly stating, “due to a large volume of calls we have closed our Customer Service so that we can deal with existing customer requests” !!
I should say no stars at all

A week without a landline and impossible to contact them by phone. Customer service has been disabled 'due to large volume of calls'!!
Also tried emails to different departments, but no response. Very sad and inconvenient as we need a line due to poor mobile signal here and health issues.
No activation of eSIM after contacting them 5 days ago
Cannot transfer eSIM onto new phone - required calling up to sort. Was sent a new QR code to install on my new phone and was told to email to activate once installed. I did, twice. I've been 5 days with no phone service so far, and today have been on hold for 26 minutes. Online chat says they are offline, despite it being working hours. What a ridiculous system for SIMs!

Been a member for many years but has plummeted downhill of late. Trying swap to new provider but they are holding it up by not releasing my phone number for the new provider. Unable to get through after 20m on phone, several times! Told to use on line chat which doesn’t exist on their website. No reply to over 7 emails, appalling customercare. Please avoid, hard to see how they can be ethical.

We recently have had a new manager appointed at my local store Ambleside Drive Worcester.
He is the most lest customer friendly person I’ve seen in the store in the seven years I have been using the store.
No service Now chasing me for payment, I have emailed saying no service, they just ignore
Telephone service, or lack of
I have a landline from Coop normally no problem
Recently thieves stole the cable up the road, this was before Xmas, now repaired . I now have a different number , want old number had for years
Can’t get an answer from the coop
I won't continue with this non-service
I was with the Phone Coop since and of the 90s and couldn't rate them highly enough. I even promoted them at our events. Since going over to Midlands Cooperative it has gone downhill. I have never once had a "sorry" for any issues, I cannot get through to them easily like before. They won't call you back "we don't have that facility" - what, a phone company? I have persevered as I believe in the Coop movement but cannot continue like this. Now the switch-over. My questions unanswered, unusable internet for days. Finally got someone on the phone who asked me to wait and I got cut off. But of course, they don't call me back. I gave one star but that's too much. Sorry MCoop, but you had your chance.
Midcounties Coop Penkridge
A good well stocked convenience store, over priced like many coops but they do have decent members offers.
Majority of staff are helpful and hard working and pleasant to talk to, apart from one miserable woman (G) who is unapproachable, rude and sarcastic and makes it very obvious she doesn't like working there Unfortunately she brings the whole shop down and lowers the standards and certainly puts me and plenty of other customers shopping in their.
What a transformation
I just wanted to write a review to say how much better my experience with Customer service was now, than two years ago. I was dreading phoning as before I had to wait ages to get through and then talk to someone who didnt know how to deal with apple computer settings, then to carry out excruciating complicated processes for each of our accounts. The person I spoke to today was knowledgeable and friendly, he talked me through a few simple steps to get the account going on the laptop and then sent me a link on their website to show how to reset the email account on the mobile. I followed the beautifully clear visual steps showing a screenshot of a phone at every step and it worked first time. Someone must have really worked to simplify this - What a transformation - Thank you

After contacting the coop to enquire as to when my annual vouchers are due to be issued they replied that they have voted against paying this year. This is scandalous as people that have spent the last 12months building up points have had them wiped out. They have also neglected to inform people of their decision.

Bad Website Management
Visited store on recommendation from their website that it would be open, only to have a wasted trip Store was closed for refurbishment. Extremely lazy of Midcounties Co-op in not updating the opening hours on their website. There are so many companies that are losing business because of lack of up-to-date information on their websites, which is shameful as most are directing you to websites as a point of contact. Midcounties Co-op joins my list of companies in which you can have no faith in.
