I recently ordered a new mixtile to go with a wall gallery of family pictures that I ordered from Mixtiles about a month ago. I received an email from Mixtiles a few days before my new picture was delivered, informing me of a “new” type of backing that would be on my picture, but that it would be better than the previous backings and that it would be compatible with the “old” style backing, allowing me to interchange the pictures if necessary. Well, it is NOT interchangeable! The new picture would not “stick” on the older magnetic backing. Needless to say, I had to completely pull old backings off the wall to rearrange all the pictures to place them to include the new picture. Very disappointed in the quality of the “new” backings that Mixtiles has changed to!

Really love this product.... have been a repeat customer since day one. Just made my 12 purchase! Love the magnets on the back as opposed to the stickies, but prefer the one large magnet in the back instead of the strip. Easier to level (or not!) the picture.
