This company is run by con artists and…

This company is run by con artists and I have dozens of real life stories to prove my claim. They are just a con business, which has a useless zero rank on google and few brainless employees already trained to con people over the phone using every single trick in the book and coercing them into releasing their financial details. This business is scam with no way of suing them legally for, it relies on loop holes in the UK trade system.

Complete wase of time and money

I foolishly joined motor trades 6 months ago. I must have had 20 to 30 phone calls to me over 2 days trying to convince me to sign, I signed up after they convinced me it would improve my chances of increasing trade and more enquiries, I signed up with this thing called e sign, and was conned into believing my order hadn't gone through and signed again, they were so insistent with phone calls constantly annoying me that I signed believing I had signed up only once. A month later I received my credit card statement and they had taken 4 payments out of my account. I phoned them and after heated discussions they reduced the legal binding contracts I had taken out to only one, which I believe was around £500 I have had no contact what so ever from them in the last 6 months, I have received not a single enquiry. I have received no stats and have no idea if they even remember I exist. Complete waste of money. If I was asked to join again I cant print the words I would want to say to them. From my point of view, a complete waste of time and money.

Hello Paul

We have read your review and are sorry to learn of your experience and we’d like the opportunity to speak to you with a view to resolving any problems.

We have around 500,000 listings live across the website making us one of the UK’s leading motoring directories, and your experience is certainly not typical.

We record all confirmation calls and only bill payments that are due to us in accordance with signed agreements.

Finally, in terms of stats, every user receives a login and the facility to download and review their own stats, this shows the number of viewings, the number of people that have requested further details on your business and so on, and is a great tool to monitor your campaign.

It sounds like you have not used your login, we can send you a reminder of your username, so please contact us at operations.manager at motortrades.co.uk and we’ll help you.

You can call if you’d prefer a chat, and you can reach us on 01277 89 77 70.

Please ask for Operations on extension 7803.

Thanks,
