So Disappointed

I chose this company as they were a family business to move my furniture and store it while I was having renovations on my new house. It was a disaster! On the original move day, they were late and didn't finish all the packing leaving items under the kitchen sink, in the under stairs cupboard and in the garage. I had to go back and clear out.

Then when it came out of storage a few months later, I found it so badly packed that things were broken and everything mixed up, like putting a TV remote control in a box with things from a different room! Nightmare. The worker who had not been on the original packing job was furious with the other one for packing the job that way. It was a horrid scene. The sofa had 5 cushions. It took days to discover where they were as each was in a different box, associated to a different room. Ikea bookcases damaged, lamps damaged, etc.

I complained and was given no compensation. I was told to put in an insurance claim, but to me insurance is for accidents, not for jamming a lamp into a box that was too small and breaking the neck of it.

I expected a refund of a month's storage as good faith, but nothing.
