Useless

Bing and Bing Image Creator are a frustrating mess. Bing search routinely feels cluttered with ads, SEO garbage and irrelevant results, while Image Creator seems determined to ignore whatever you actually ask for. Prompts get interpreted completely wrong, simple instructions are ignored, and trying to get a specific result can feel like arguing with a particularly stubborn toaster. That and their RIDICULOUS filters are beyond pedantic, to the point where I tried to change the color of something and got blocked for SOME unknown reason, who knows what its was hallucinating behind the scenes.

The image limits and restrictions only make the experience worse. You spend your time tweaking prompts, regenerating images and burning through boosts just to get something remotely close to what you requested. For a company with Microsoft's resources, the whole thing feels unnecessarily clunky and frustrating. And all for low res garbage.

There are plenty of better alternatives. Bing and Image Creator aren't completely useless, but they often make you wonder whether the goal is actually to help you create something—or just make you click “Generate” repeatedly until you give up. Oh and the points thing for using their searcher is just sad.

I'd give MS Edge & Bing a negative score if possible…

I'd give MS Edge & Bing a minus score if it was possible. Only reason for one measly star (that it doesn't deserve) is in order to post this review.

MSEdge & Bing (a Google wannabe!) are incredibly invasive programs and always change my default browser and pdf opening apps back to bloody BING every time I do an update. Today I disabled Bing as much as I possibly could, in favour of Google. My laptop won't allow uninstallation, which is what I really want. This alone fires me up in a bad way! However, I KNOW FULL WELL MSEdge will default the browser & file open programs back to Bing in the next upgrade!! It ALWAYS does this without permission. I'll keep changing the defaults regardless because NOTHING gets my goat more than being dictated to by Microsoft and THAT MAN. You KNOW who I'm referring to.

Go AWAY Bing, that's all I want. It's too aggressive, invasive and downright annoying, taking over my PC's settings every time there's an upgrade, which is way too often.

You suck MICROSOFT EDGE and BING is overloaded with lame, moving ads that just wanna trick you into clicking them. It's the worst.

I used bing for the microsoft rewards option and its not to difficult to get points but they make it litterally impossible to redeem with 30+ steps dozens of verifications and in the end just not giving you the reward, this is the second time its happened and ill no longer be using them

Why does it differ so much in search…

Why does it differ so much in search results between the totally useless BING and the new but bad AI Google?
Its like making a choice between two different sorts of cancer.
I miss the old Google with links.

Student Review

I'm a school student, have been using Bing for about 3 years now, and Bing is notably not helpful, specifically when it comes to searching for images. Constantly, we have to do presentations and projects, and Bing will only show 1-2 results with even a hint of relevancy. The search results aren't as bad, but also the aesthetic of the search engine reminds me of static. I would 100% recommend switching to Google, even though my school administration has restricted it.
