I had a this type of tens machine…
I had a this type of tens machine before with “flo ova” but they were discontinued unfortunately so I could no longer buy the replacement pads so I tried my oovi. Not worth the money, I’ve used it three times and it doesn’t even stick, if you have a bloated belly from period pain or endo belly or a naturally curved belly then the weight of the tens machine itself is so heavy and there is no “stick” behind it that half of the entire oovi is just hanging off you and then irritates the skin because it’s pulling on your stomach. Because the tens machine is so bulky you can’t wear it under clothes outside for work, or going anywhere. The actual pattern of the tens shocks itself are so sporadic and are actually quite painful themselves, there is no subtle and consistent setting to last you throughout the day as it also just stops itself after 5 minutes or so. My last one was a lifesaver, I could even wear it throughout the night and all day at work and I have to take this one off after a couple minutes. The tens machine itself self clips on to the pads just with a few light magnets and the tens machine can also come loose meaning it just stops working, but my last one had solid clips so it would stay in place no matter how you moved. It does come in good packaging a little travel case and the pads have a nice silicone feel but not flexible enough to be moulded to your body.
V2 Myoovi - big disappointment
I wonder if anyone at Myoovi has ever actually researched women dealing with cramps... The first Myoovie model was great but sorely lacking in heat - but the new version 2 blue one is a MAJOR disappointment. They've added heat (finally!!) but the actual pulse modes of the electric tingling (the main feature of Myoovi) can no longer be decided by you. It switches between the 3 settings now and you can't keep it on the mode you like. So you go from having it consistently on one continuous pulse (the one everyone uses because it actually distracts you from the constant pain) to then nothing for a couple of seconds while it switches to the next pulse mode (so the pain comes back for a ocuple seconds) and then the other two pulse mode take their turn (even though they don't help as much) and remember you're getting that quintessential Myoovi experience of the whole thing stopping for a moment while it switches so the cramps suddenly come online again between every mode switch - but also they generally are worse throughout the two modes you don't rate as much. So basically the pain relief is not as good as the first myoovi model because you don't choose anymore which one works
The heat addition is great and long overdue for such an expensive product - but I don't know why we've lost control of the main function of the product. For £80, i'm sending mine back.
Absolutely dreadful customer service
Absolutely dreadful customer service. Needed to place a return, which they were quick enough to respond to by sending me the label. Everything was in the original packaging, unopened as requested and sent to myoovi on the 26th May. I emailed them proof of postage with tracking too- which is lucky because it was delivered to their warehouse on the 29th of May and as of the 6th June I still have not heard anything from them despite sending multiple emails and trying to get hold of them on their chat bot thing. Still £80 down and its impossible to get hold of these people. For a company dedicated to women's physical pain they really dont seem to give a **** about your mental wellbeing. Such a stressful experience and I would certainly not recommend buying from them.

I love my Oovi
I love my Oovi, it has definitely helped me with my pain - I have the first one that was released.
Only issue is the sticky pads I can only wear for a couple of hours at a time as I come out in a rash then I can’t use it for the next few days when I need it most.
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before so would like to know if in the future something extra sensitive could be made
A game-changer for Endometriosis!
The Myoovi 2.0 is an absolute game changer for Endometriosis sufferers. It takes the worst of the cramps away better than codeine.
I didn't actually realise how much it was holding back until it ran out of charge, and I was hit by what I can only describe as a TSUNAMI of pain!!!
I think I might order another so that when one gets close to running out of charge, I can tag-team between 2 pads.
I know a lot of people have complained that there's no rhyme or reason to the rhythm of electrical stimulations, but I find it better that way. The jolts are interrupting my pain waves sufficiently enough that I can almost stand up straight.
Would definitely recommend to a fellow Endo/Adeno warrior 💛
Great for IBS too fully recommend it…
I purchased this as a recommendation NOT for period pain but for IBS flare up and I have to say its just excellent.
I've always had to rely on tablets and wait for them to work but placing mooyvi on my abdomen straight away work instantly. Great product would recommend this for anyone like me who suffers
Game Changer
This has been a game changer for my endometriosis pain. I use it on my lower back for most of the month and it provides instant relief.
Good Product Except...
I tried both the tens and the 2.0 machiene which has helped reduce the severity of my endometriosis pains a lot. I think the product is brilliant but my only criticism is that there is a lack of adjustment to the settings, the machiene only allows for a cycle of pulses which you can't choose what pulses they are and i find that some of them aren't effective. It would be a lot better if you could choose between different pulses and stick to what is helpful instead of having to sit through random ones hoping it ends up on one that is helpful.
Customer service slow to respond…
Further update to this review and changes from 1 star to 4 stars…
29.04: After they initial miscommunication and delay in responding the customer service team have fully supported me in returning and refunding the kit. Left as a 4 as the kit didn’t work for me but I do have severe endo so I was hoping for the impossible with this kit.
Customer service so slow to respond when I asked for a "hassle free refund within 60 days" as they advised. I have contacted the support team with various emails over the last 4 days - no response at all.
I have stage 4 endo and sadly this device does not work for me so I just want my money back - but its impossible to get anyone to respond.

I love this tens machine- an absolute lifesaver…
I love this tens machine- it has been an absolute life saver for me! I’ve had it for over 2 years now I think and use it for endometriosis/ adeno pain which I get everyday and virtually allday. I have to take painkillers but there’s a lot of the time when they’re just not enough for the pain and so I bought this to try. I’m a bit cynical if I’m honest about how much they charge for it, as you can get tens machines for half the price. And a tens machine is a tens machine- they all do the same thing. It’s just about how long they stay charged for and how good the pads are to deliver the current.
That being said, when I was buying this, this was the only one with the butterfly pad which spreads the impulses out across the uterus area which is what I wanted and works really well.
I wear this allday a lot of the times, it helps me be able to focus on my work when the pain is bad, and allows me to fall asleep. It is an immediate relief when I put it on, instantly distracting me from the pain. But also soothes the area too.
I came here to check reviews about the new myoovi- which I have to be honest are putting me off getting it. As it sounds like it doesn’t have the functions that i need it for. Long battery life - so it can last the whole day and to be discreet so you can wear it anywhere. I hope these things can be improved- as I would definitely have bought another of the original model again, but I see that’s out of stock.
I wanted to share this review also - as I see a number of people giving negative 1 star reviews for poor customer service. And I just wanted to share a different perspective- as I have had really positive experiences with customer services and found them to be very helpful and understanding.
For anyone unsure about whether a tens machine could help with their pain - I’d highly recommend trying it. As for me it’s been a huge lifeline and allows me to continue running my business which I would struggle to do without this aid. They offer a period of time to trial it and return if it doesn’t work - so for me that was a no-brainer to give it a go. Hope this helps anyone trying to decide to go for it considering the cost involved. Plus - there’s always discounts, search for one lol- that’s what I did to allow me to afford it! :)
Game changer!
I have endometriosis and this is a game changer. The combined heat and tens function is absolutely amazing for ease those deep and painful cramps!
Fantastic product and service
Fantastic product and service.
I was skeptical having read some of the reviews, particularly those that mentioned alarms going off. However I was absolutely delighted with the product and the service. There were no annoying or embarrassing beeps, just soothing warmth and pain relief.
It does work on a one hour timer, presumably to stop the battery running down if not needed, so you will need to reset. At home that’s easy and discreet enough to do as/when but if you’re in the work environment a quick trip to the bathroom and you’re set to go.
I would definitely recommend giving this a go, there is a 60 day returns policy (keep all the packaging) as it isn’t for everyone but try for yourself.
Best invention ever created
I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis, I have the original tens machine and the 2.0, they are a game changer. They have made university and work life more bareable. I love how I can wear it anywhere, so I don’t have to lug around a hot water bottle or result in taking time off work/uni. Absolutely amazing product
2.0 is a downgrade - but customer service is second to none!
I have used myoovi V1 for years and I have absolutely loved it. I was looking forward to the upgraded version and addition of heat settings, but was so disappointed that the beep sounds had been added. This device was so valuable to me as I could wear it discreetly whilst working, but the addition of the sounds means that is just not possible anymore.
Also did not love the new timer and random vibration settings at all.
I cannot fault the customer service team though - they are friendly, helpful, and made the returns process so straightforward. Thank you. I hope to return to myoovi in future if some changes are made for the next version

Not a magic solution
I'm a little disappointed by Myoovi and feel, for the money it cost, it should have been better than it is. The TENS settings are random, it claims to have many but I'll be honest I think each 'setting' is just random pulsing with no pattern. The heat element is nice but times out after 30 minutes and goes off and every time you press a button it beeps which is not ideal if you were hoping to wear it to the office. I did enquire for a refund but because I'd thrown away the cardboard box I was only offered 70% of what I'd paid because "This helps us verify the item’s authenticity" which I think seemed unfair and I don't think relying on the cardboard box is a reliable way to tell if a device is authentic.
Personally it hasn't cured my pain, it's a slight distraction but due to the beeps I can't wear it in work so it's not 100% helpful.
Advice to those thinking of purchasing would be to try a cheaper one. I have used TENS before and I don't think you need to pay £80.

Myoovi - teenage daughter uses
My teenage daughter has suffered with pain from her periods since she started at age 10. Finding this product and her using it for approx a year now has helped her significantly. She still has to take painkillers due to the severity of the pain, but before school and once home from school, uses her myoovi and it helps the pain subside.
Not good for severe pain
I have adenomyosis and fibroids and it does not work for that level of pain. The new butterfly pads are lower quality than before. Customer service is generally good but it annoys me how a man is profiting off our pain. Period pain is not normal you probably have endo or adeno. I also hate all the anti-meds rhetoric on their website. Their supplements are also overpriced.

Allows my daughter to manage her period pain. Great
Myoovi has become the first step in my daughter’s period pain management. Painkillers still play a part but she feels much more in control. A huge relief and a great device.
Customer service is second to none.
Today I placed an order for my other half. This is the second product I have bought from Myoovie. The first one worked for period pain INSTANTLY giving my other half relief like she hadn’t felt before. It has been years now and has since stopped working. It was time for a new one. I ordered the version 2 today only to accidentally order it to my old house! I emailed the support team instantly and Kim responded telling me that the delivery details had been updated. Today is Boxing Day. While all others have a day off Kim is there working hard to get our orders correct. Thank you so much Kim. And thank you for helping so many women relieve the pain they experience far too much while us men have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this product as it has improved my other half’s way of life drastically.
