Visited the store on 30/06 with my wife after seeing a sofa we really liked. Unfortunately, our experience with a member of staff called Andy left us very disappointed.
From the moment we spoke to him, I noticed a strong smell of alcohol, which immediately came across as unprofessional. When we asked a few questions about the sofa, his manner was quite abrupt and dismissive rather than helpful. Instead of taking the time to answer our questions, he seemed more interested in pushing us towards making a sale.
We went in expecting friendly customer service and left feeling uncomfortable and under pressure. It's a shame because the furniture itself was lovely, but the service completely spoiled the experience. I hope the management looks into this, as customer service should be welcoming and professional.

Pls pls pls don't buy from here we have had nothing but trouble from the start !! Sold us a sofa with bluetooth and it dosent work there basically saying tuff🤬🤬 trading standards are involved and apparently it's a common company that there getting involved with

We saw a great deal for a bed in their window display and decided to have a closer look, the salesperson Josh approached us and explained what the deal was on offer, he showed us three variations on offer, he gave us the choices of headboards that were available and we were also able to select what colour we required for the bed frame, throughout the whole process we found Josh very helpful polite and in fact a very friendly approach towards us.
If only all sales people in other companies were as positive as Josh.
Purchased a Pendle corner sofa and Pendle 2 seater sofa. Quality is awful, after 6 months it looked like 10 years old, independent, qualified inspector said the build quality was poor and the sofa was not fit for purpose - avoid like the plague!

wasn’t pushy trying to get a sale and very knowledgable of the product and made purchasing very my sofa easy and i left happy that id made the right purchase and also it was a great price

Found this shop by surprise, friendly staff. Becky was happy to leave me to browse, but was there to answer any questions I had. Becky was happy for me to return & bring in my dining chair from home to view with the table. I didn’t feel any pushy sales pitch as you can in other stores.
Good shop, wish they had more furniture in store to view!

I ordered a dining table and chairs on 16 June from the NCF Living West Thurrock store. Despite repeating the colour requirement to the store manager at least ten times, the wrong colour dining table was delivered. I raised the issue immediately, and the manager later admitted it was his mistake.
Customer service then confirmed that the correct colour table was in stock and that a replacement had been arranged — yet nothing was delivered. Since then, I’ve been given contradictory information by multiple staff members, with no clear resolution and absolutely no accountability for the error.
The store manager has been dismissive and unwilling to listen. Instead of taking responsibility, he repeatedly tells us to contact customer service, even though customer service is not available on weekends and often requires waiting several hours during the day just to get through. This has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.
The level of incompetence and disregard shown throughout this process is unacceptable.
Sick of being given different stories every time I ask for an update
We had an absolutely fantastic experience shopping at the NCF Living Preston store, and it is entirely down to Becky.
We were looking for the perfect bed for our master bedroom, and Becky went completely above and beyond to help us; since she also worked in the carpet industry in the past she had the perfect eye for design. She patiently listened to our needs and took the time to help us match the fabric of the Hampstead bed to our current bedroom carpet, ensuring the colours wouldn't clash. She thoroughly explained all the different bed sizes and colour options, making sure we understood exactly what we were buying.
Thanks to her patience and expertise, we found the perfect bed and felt completely confident placing our deposit and paying for the assembly service. Becky is an absolute credit to the Preston team so thank you so much for your amazing help! We may even be back to buy a mattress from you guys too.
