I really had a great experience with Øjenlægernes Center København. I used to have -7 vision in both eyes and decided to get the SMILE eye laser operation at Øjenlægernes Center. Best decision ever! They were really thorough in examining my eyes and took their time explaining the entire procedure.

On the day of the operation, Dr. Svend Asp went through the entire procedure (which is really short and painless) again and made sure that I felt comfortable. At no point did I feel stressed or uncomfortable. The laser procedure is so quick, and I could even take the S-tog home afterward. No complications and no pain afterward.

If you are used to contacts, sometimes it feels a little like you are wearing old contact lenses, but if you regularly use eye drops, you feel nothing. Now it has been 2 months since the procedure, and I am super happy. I even see better now than I did with contact lenses! It's just such an amazing experience.

So if you are thinking about getting this operation, do it! It's life-changing! ;)

Feeling like I never had glasses after surgery.

Best decision I have ever made to get a Relex Smile eye surgery. I had a little over -6, therefore I was lucky to get it paid by the state. Even if I had to pay, it was definitely worth it. First, I have been tested if I am a candidate for surgery by the optometrist Lise, who was very nice and answered all my questions about the surgery and possible consequences. Then the same day I got to know the date for surgery, which was already after 2 weeks. Before the operation, I was informed by the surgeon Sven about every step of the surgery and what will I go through. He was very gentle and I was surprised how easy and painless operation was. I could only feel slight pressure on the eye during the surgery, but no pain at all. When I got home, I rested with closed eyes for 3 hours and when I opened it I could already see much better, but a little foggy. The next day my vision was less foggy and I already had 20/20 vision! The healing process went easy as well, sometimes my eyes felt very dry, but the prescribed eye drops helped a lot. Generally I am extremely happy with everything at this clinique, from receptionist Pia, proffessional doctors to the quality of equipment. Can highly recommend!
