visited Omni Tech (Tech Pro) in St Lukes in on 16 February2025 because my phone had a charging problem. They said the charging port needed replacing, so I left my phone with them. Later they called and said the battery also had to be replaced. I agreed and paid for both repairs. A few months later, in mid-July, the same charging issue came back. When I returned, they insisted the port was not the problem and pushed me to buy a new charger for about70 dollars. Even though I explained that the same charger worked fine with another phone. Less than 30 minutes later, my phone still wouldn't charge. I then took it to another repair shop in St Lukes called Mobi. The technician opened the phone and showed me that the charging port had never been replaced. It was still the original part and clearly showed signs of years of use. I had to pay again to have the charging port properly replaced. I believe Omni Tech charged me for a repair that was never done. They also sold me a charger that did not solve anything. This was dishonest, misleading, and very disappointing. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I strongly suggest going to Mobi in St Lukes instead of Tech Pro. After my experience, I found Mobi to be honest, professional, and fair. This is not the first time I've used their services, and they have always repaired things properly and charged reasonable prices.

Worse screen protector ever . Wasted my money

I had my S22 fixed by the team in Dunedin. They replaced the screen and wow. The touch screen on the S22 Ultra was always sub optimal and this is without a screen protector. They replaced the screen and installed a screen protector and it's now the phone is as should always have been. Not sure what they did but I no longer have to swipe a couple of tines to get things moving along. Thanks team.

DO NOT shop with Omni Tech

I purchased a ZK Smartphone Protection Pro Film screen protector for $50 from Omni Tech LynnMall. I was told it was the best screen protector they had available and I expected it to be of reasonable quality for $50. The cashier Chintak installed the screen protector and it appeared to be crooked as it didn't line up properly with the camera. It also didn't appear to stick properly as it moved when touched. Within a week I noticed it started peeling away from the edges of my screen. This peeling became progressively worse as I used my phone normally until it had peeled half way off my phone.

On 02/11 I returned to Omni Tech LynnMall with my receipt and faulty screen protector hoping to get it repaired or replaced. Chintak was rude and dismissive towards me and told me that I would have to pay for another screen protector if I wanted it replaced. He insisted that I must have "put something under there and flicked it up" because he "sells hundreds of these and this never happens". Really disappointed with the faulty product I received, the poor customer service, and the unwillingness to remedy the situation. I made a formal complaint to Omni Tech and have been in email correspondence with them to try and remedy the situation. They refused to provide me with a refund for the faulty goods I purchased which were not fit for purpose. They claimed this was because the screen protector was "halfway torn" and therefore not eligible for a refund due to signs of physical damage. The screen protector was not ripped or torn in any way aside from having peeled away from my phone screen. Under their return policy it says they will meet their obligations under the Consumer Guarantee Act. They also patronizingly referred to this in their email saying "please note that we always take responsibility for our product and we will never refuse a refund/replacement request if the product has quality issues. A lie. I will never shop with Omni Tech ever again and I strongly recommend others avoid them also. You don't have to look far at the other reviews (the ones that aren't from fake profiles) to see them for what they are.

Don’t Buy Flipkart Air Cooler, OMNITECH retail is fraud retailing

“Flipkart SmartBuy Alpine Tower Air Cooler” is not cooling.

DON'T BUY from this SELLER OMNITECH retail they are not giving refund or replacement and flipkart is also helping them. OMNITECH retail is fraud.

I made return or replace request next day but flipkart team say “our technician visit your home and check product issue” next day (JEEVES) technician come to my home but not checking what issue in this product technician say “your product is perfect” but actually not solving any issue. Next day my return replacement request cancels by seller or flipkart. I contact flipkart team but they are saying “product is perfect and we cannot return or replace your product’ Flipkart and OMNITECH retail both are fraud.
